30/08/2025: We had lunch today while visiting the town. We booked a table at this restaurant because of its good reviews.
The restaurant is on the outskirts of town, away from the tourist area. Parking is easy at the door.
The waitress who served us was very friendly and attentive.
The food was very good, with reasonable portions for the price, and we also got The Fork discount. We ordered the classic appetizers: mussels, fillet, sea bream, and tonarelli carbonara.
Definitely a recommended place to eat in Cerveteri!

04/09/2025: Pizzas ordered on Just Eat arrived a short while ago, after more than an hour and a half. The photo shows either a burnt pizza or an undercooked pizza! You decide 😅 (it's burnt).
31/08/2025: Excellent pinsa. My favorite is the potatoes, speck, and provola. It's speck-tacular and provola-worthy 😁

20/07/2025: A charming place, surrounded by nature, where we spent a lovely evening with family and friends. Welcoming service and, above all, traditional home-made products, from cheeses to vegetables, etc. The fresh, handmade pasta was delicious, and the grilled meat, also home-grown, was excellent. Recommended.

It was almost impossible to talk inside the restaurant because there was a DJ playing music at full volume. Furthermore, €15 for four tomato meatballs, which were very simple, was truly exaggerated. The other dishes were also on the high end.

We went to both expensive and cheap places - everywhere it was mediocre and often tasteless, although we expected a Roman cuisine extravaganza...
But Trattoria al varesino saved all our subsequent dinners: really tasty, low prices, pleasant and polite service.
If it were possible to give 50 stars for the cuisine, I would give it with confidence.
I recommend it, you won't regret it!

Abbiamo mangiato ottimi piatti a base di pesce come il risotto alla crema di scampi, paccheri ai frutti di mare e spigola in crosta di patate. Il servizio è stato impeccabile grazie ad Alessandro e la sua squadra. Prezzo più che adeguato. Torneremo sicuramente!

20/07/2025: Located in the Castel Romano outlet shopping center. Clean place, friendly and fast service. Good food, all good, nothing memorable but nothing bad either. Fair price for the location, where everywhere else is quite expensive. It's not one of those places where you'd leave home specifically to eat fish, but if you're in Castel Romano for shopping, it's one of the best places to go. The friendly staff is a plus.

04/07/2025: The perfect synthesis of the evening is without infamy and without praise. Nothing shines, no jolt to the palate, but at the same time it is not possible to say that there is something that is clearly wrong. The pizza (with salmon) in my opinion - maybe it was just bad luck - I find it more biscuity than Neapolitan. Overall it was heavy. Desserts Sal de Riso

11/01/2025: A small family-run restaurant with excellent homemade pasta, we had Tonnarella and porcini mushrooms which were really very good. The house wine in bulk is appreciable, the service was excellent and even if you shouldn't expect anything special it is a place worth visiting if you want to have a lunch or dinner eating genuine things without spending a lot. Highly recommended
