How can you not have breakfast at a top pastry shop in the African Quarter? Here, the Veneziana is the croissant they make best, and in my opinion, one of the best in Rome.

I haven't been to this pastry shop, but I received a gift last Christmas with some of their products. In a word, I'd say they were exceptional, especially the chocolate panettone and the soft pistachio nougat. But the best were the truly excellent fruit jellies! I'll be back in person to discover more delicacies.

I had breakfast at this pastry shop, thinking it was one of the best in the area. The soy cappuccino was good, the foam was well-made, and the chocolate chip parcel was good, but I wasn't crazy about the dough. I took away a diplomat, but honestly, I've had better. Above all, I don't think it's fair that I can't bring my own food to the table, since they have to charge for service anyway.

15/11/2025: Great prices for lunch, spacious restaurant, and a sheltered outdoor veranda for seating. Friendly and patient staff: despite the large number of us, they welcomed us and handled us well, without any endless waits for food or for a coffee at the end, which was added to the bill. Centrally located, accessible only on foot due to the difficulty of parking in Rome's EUR district.
12/11/2025: It's a nice place to go and have a good coffee, the sandwiches are also excellent and you can feel that the products are fresh and well kept.

03/05/2026: Nice family run caffè! Very friendly and efficient. They serve Illy coffee❣️and make exceptional cappuccino. Also a nice selection of pastry’s for breakfast. We usually are here on Sunday mornings and love to sit outside and people watch the bus, taxi and train station activities. Small place, but well worth the visit.
