Sublime il carciofo in umido con crema di pecorino , per non parlare dei primi tipici della cucina romana , cucinati in modo magistrale. Selezione di vini ampissima ! Assolutamente un ' esperienza da ripetere .

On July 22, 2025, I went to get a coffee: the cashier completely ignored me and continued texting on her cell phone. I moved to the bar counter to order a coffee and the barista was even more indifferent... I pointed out to both of them that there was another bar further up where the service is better and I said goodbye there cordially!!! AVOID!!!

10/06/2025: Very comfortable bar, historic meeting point for those who go to the pine forest or to the sea I have always gone there. In the afternoon for a coffee or an aperitif and then a walk in the nearby pine forest.

22/06/2025: Good bar to hang out with friends and have quick bites. They offer snacks, tacos, nachos, poke bowl etc. Good variety of local beers, spirits and wines. It gets crowded in the evening with people coming to chill and talk. You feel young and lively with the vibes and noises. Enjoy!!!

18/07/2025: La location è molto bella soprattutto se in estate si ha la possibilità di mangiare all'esterno potendo quindi godere di un pò d'aria fresca. Il personale addetto al servizio è stato cortese, disponibile e gentile ma a mio parere poco chiaro. Durante l'ordinazione della carne (specialità della casa) eravamo convinti di aver ordinato 4 entrecote (3 di balck angus e 1 di sashi finlandese) da circa 350 grammi mentre poi, prima della cottura, l'addetto si è presentato al tavolo mostrandoci i tagli di carne e solamente lì abbiamo scoperto che erano state tagliate 3 entrecote di black angus da 400 grammi cadauna ma soprattutto una bistecca con l'osso da 1,2 kg. di sashi finlandese mai richiesta. Aggiungo che successivamente ci è stato riferito da un altro addetto che all'interno del locale sono esposte tutte le carni disponibili e che insieme all'addetto delle carni è possibile scegliere la tipologia di carne ed il taglio desiderato. Nulla da eccepire sulla bontà e sulla cottura delle carni e neanche sull'antipasto misto ricco di piatti caldi e salumi davvero sfiziosi. Un'altra nota a mio parere non proprio positiva è stata la scelta del vino. Il locale dispone di una carta vini ricca (almeno sulla carta) di etichette italiane e non solo. Dopo la prima bottiglia di vino rosso (per iniziare abbiamo scelto un Lagrein Elena Walch) volevamo optare per un vino rosso più strutturato (Bolgheri). Abbiamo richiesto un paio di etichette riportate all'interno della lista dei vini ma non erano presenti. Allora ci è stato proposto in alternativa un vino rosso (Syrah) che poi alla fine si è rivelato non essere più disponibile. Alla fine abbiamo ordinato un altro Lagrein ma avremo voluto assaggiare qualcosa di altro rimanendo sempre sulla stessa fascia di prezzo. Gli addetti al servizio si sono scusati per l'accaduto ed alla fine si sono fatti perdonare applicando uno sconto al conto. Nel complesso esperienza positiva ma se scegliete la carne, recatevi prima al bancone delle carni presente all'interno del locale per concordare direttamente con l'addetto il taglio e soprattutto il peso desiderato visto che i prezzi di alcune tipologie di carne disponibili non sono proprio bassi.

12/07/2025: Enchanting location, exquisite cuisine, but little attention to food intolerances The restaurant boasts a truly picturesque view of Rome, an elegant and refined atmosphere, and offers well-structured cuisine, with dishes meticulously crafted in terms of ingredients, composition, and flavor. The service is friendly and attentive, providing pleasant company throughout the evening, but it leaves the impression of being inadequately prepared for the food served. What left me perplexed about the overall experience was that, in a fine dining setting, some of the carelessness in managing food intolerances is difficult to understand. When booking—which I made well in advance—I was asked if I had any intolerances, and I mentioned lactose. I subsequently sent a follow-up email to reiterate this information, expecting that after such careful consideration, completely allergen-free alternatives would be available. Yet, once I was seated, none of the dishes on the menu were suitable, except one, and no off-menu alternatives were offered. When ordering, we had to indicate multiple options for each course, hoping the kitchen could accommodate them. The resulting menu was improvised, choosing from the courses containing "more moderate" amounts of lactose than the others, and lacking consistency (two fish dishes and one meat). Once we requested a more harmonious fish-based menu, the waiter simply returned, saying—without even asking if it would be okay—that the first course would be a seafood risotto. The second course also had only one option. The same bakery also included products containing lactose, the amounts of which remained vaguely "a little." I honestly wonder: what's the point of asking about intolerances when booking if you're not organized to handle them with the attention expected from the premise? During the evening, we were offered a table change to a better view, a courteous gesture we greatly appreciated, but which doesn't fully compensate for the superficiality demonstrated at the beginning. An experience that undoubtedly has many qualities, but it requires greater attention and sensitivity to dietary requirements, especially when they are communicated well in advance and with precision. Ultimately, regarding this specific aspect, the overall feeling of the evening was one of having to pay attention to one's dishes and use various supplements to cover any potential, and poorly quantified, lactose present in the dishes.

08/05/2025: De bediening was verschrikkelijk. We werden compleet genegeerd. De drie dames waren duidelijk geen fan van toeristen. Ze bedienden anderen voor ons en begonnen tegen elkaar uitgebreid in conversatie te gaan zodat ze ons toch maar niet moesten verderhelpen. Ongezien!

08/07/2025: Tastes good... too bad the €4.30 cup isn't the maxi one but much smaller... I thought it would be ample... instead it's a baby cup... the scoop has very little ice cream... unfortunately... never again...!!! Highly not recommended!!!

08/08/2025: They offer different sizes of arrosticini. We ordered the 30- and 40-gram ones, and they were juicy and perfectly cooked. The liver ones are also worth trying. The appetizers are delicious, and the mixed platter is excellent value. They offer a 20cl beer for the first 10 arrosticini each person orders. The only flaw.... The red wine was served cold, and I couldn't taste it at all.

30/07/2025: Finally, a comfortable place to relax, especially in nice weather, even in the eastern suburbs of Rome. Aperitifs with excellent drinks, delicious ice cream, and delicious pastries and cookies, under the porticoes and with the adjacent playground, also great for families... it has it all! Well done!
