The table for four with comfortable, well-appointed sofas, a wide selection of wines on display, a pleasant atmosphere, and the ability to make guests feel at ease—they won us over. Excellent prices Fork reservations are also available, even on Saturdays The smart management of the place The quality and freshness of the food But what we appreciated most was the smiles and warm welcome from the managers and staff—young and very capable. When work is done with passion and enthusiasm, it shines through. The pizza is a must-try 🍕 €9.50 And the carbonara 😍 €10, incredibly good

08/01/2026: I stumbled upon it almost by chance, with an hour to spare before a screening at the Cinema Farnese, on a curfew night due to bad weather. I drank a NEIPA, then two glasses of white, letting the conversation guide me more than my thirst. Vincenzo recommended a couple of cans to take away, the kind of exchange that only happens in the right places, where the atmosphere bridges distances. I'll be back soon!

17/04/2026: My partner and I have been to this small seafood restaurant in the heart of Centocelle twice now. Both experiences were very positive and have convinced this writer to include this restaurant among those we should visit regularly. The menu consists of a limited number of dishes (an average of 4-5 choices per course), but the reason is immediately clear: the restaurant only uses fresh fish, so it can't offer a huge selection! In addition to the menu, they also offer "dishes of the day" based on the catch and the season. The quality is truly excellent and the price is in line with the quality of the food. You can also book through The Fork for an additional discount. Recommended!

20/05/2026: This is still one of those authentic Roman places that doesn't lapse into folklore but maintains the values ​​of good cuisine in a simple yet authentic setting. Excellent food, with a special mention for the carbonara, certainly among the best in Rome. Portions that to call generous would be an understatement, and very fair prices! Unfortunately, I don't live nearby, but every time I'm in the area, I find an excuse to stop here. Open only for lunch, except Friday evenings and a few other exceptions. Reservations are highly recommended. Another kudos to the basic but attentive service.

09/06/2026: A small restaurant in a San Lorenzo Roma side street serving quality food in a mostly outdoor setting. The fillet steak was superb, tender, cooked to perfection and delicious, as were the calamari and risotto. The desserts were home baked and also delicious. The staff were friendly and the service good. The side street walls are covered in graffiti but the restaurant owners either side have done their best to mask it with pretty lights hanging around. Well recommended and value for money.

06/05/2026: Excellent service, especially from Chef Joaquín who showed us the step-by-step process of making the pasta, all done with Italian mastery. The tagliolini al tartufo was divine! I highly recommend it!

19/12/2025: We've been regulars for a few years now, and I wouldn't change Jovez for anything. The staff is friendly and welcoming, the place is beautiful, and the food is divine. Everything is homemade, from the supplì, for example, to the delicious appetizer they bring, to the first and second courses, and the pizza, which I consider the best ever. Jovez is a guarantee that never disappoints. And Cesare and Federico are great hosts. I always come back and leave with a smile. I can only give top stars to everything!

08/06/2026: Felicetta was a wonderful discovery 4 years ago recommended by the staff of the Hotel Salus and since then every time we go to the Salus we have lunch or dinner at Felicetta. Excellent home cooking, always kind and smiling staff, what can I say? Top!

07/06/2026: A very small and charming family-run restaurant. We've been there several times and it's never been bad. Everything has always tasted fantastic. The staff has always been very friendly and attentive.

05/05/2026: Very kind owners.... Excellent raw materials.... abundant dishes at a very fair price..... we enjoyed a generous appetizer and an excellent Florentine steak. I noticed at the neighboring tables that the first courses were abundant and fabulous (you could eat them with your eyes). A word from a camper!

04/05/2026: We stopped here on our way back from a disappointing sports match and needed to recharge. This place, with its kind staff and good food, succeeded. Location (7): Clean, basic Menu (photo) (8): Like eating at home, very tasty Service (8): As if one of the family were bringing you food Cost (9): Coffee here still costs an unbelievable €1, not to mention first courses that can cost €10 If you're on the road or feeling down, stop by this place; they know how to make you feel good.

01/05/2026: A pleasant surprise. This restaurant has just a few tables, so reservations are recommended. We stopped by on May 1st, and despite it being busy, the service was quick and courteous. The food is traditional, using local ingredients. Everything was delicious.

17/03/2026: A lovely, warm, welcoming, and tastefully decorated place. Good food, high-quality ingredients, and the option to purchase on-site. Special mention goes to the mentucciata, a popular dish typical of Tolfa. Not too cheap.

29/05/2026: Our whole stay was spoiled by building work being completed at the cinema next to the hotel. On our first morning we were abruptly woken at 7.30am by drilling and hammering that vibrated right through the room. We then faced 2 power cuts whilst getting ready and had to sit in the dark for 10 mins as we didn't want to open the curtains as there were workmen looking in which made us feel very uncomfortable. I complained at reception but was told that the hotel was at full occupancy and they could move us but not until 12 noon. This was not an option as we had booked a tour for this time so we couldn't wait around the hotel all day. We came to Rome to see the sights, not to sit and wait in the hotel for another room. When we returned later that evening we were told by reception that they had spoken to the builders and that they wouldn't start any building work until 9am and if they did start earlier the manager would get the police involved. So we went to bed hoping we could get a lie in. However at 7.45 am the next morning it started again. I rang the receptionist who said they would sort it but the banging never stopped. We got dressed and got out of the room as the constant banging was unbearable. Once again I went to reception to be offered a room for the last night but we were checking out at 6.30am the next day and our stay had already been spoiled. We're not prepared to offer any financial compensation as they offered us another room which we could move to. They were at full capacity so another guest would have had the same problem .Not bothered about their guests just want to fill their hotel.

28/04/2026: A good osteria in the San Giovanni area. You can choose between meat and fish dishes. The appetizers are very good, accompanied by excellent, fresh bread. Recommended for a casual dinner where substance prevails over appearance. The dishes are simple yet authentic and flavorful, and the prices are in line with other restaurants in the city. Upon entering, you'll experience a sense of culinary tradition and authenticity.

27/04/2026: On the recommendation of Roman friends, I dined at this restaurant, and I must say it did not disappoint. This Roman trattoria is a great place for lunch or dinner, a relaxing experience with excellent food. The atmosphere is superb, and the service is top-notch. 09/05/2026: I've been walking past this shop for a long time, but for other reasons I've never managed to stop... I finally did yesterday. It's a clean, family-friendly place. I tried their fresh pasta, which is spectacular!!! The chicken and pepper-filled ravioli (pulled chicken) are spectacular, and the simple ricotta and lemon ravioli are WOW! Convenient parking, try their dishes.
