13/08/2025: Amazing delicious food ! A true gem of place with a great view of the coliseum. We had the truffle spaghetti, and lasagna and we already can’t wait to return tomorrow for another great meal. Service was great and friendly as well!

12/08/2025: A tourist trap, and obviously we fell for it... It pains us to give it only 2 stars since the staff is lovely. However, having come to eat and take a break (because that's normally the purpose of a restaurant), we were deeply disappointed... Frozen gnocchi, undercooked pasta—it's the height of absurdity for an "Italian restaurant"! Move on, because even if you won't break the bank, you'll leave frustrated.

19/07/2025: The place is small and you need to reserve, but it's worth it! The cuisine is completely vegan. Four of us went for dinner on a Wednesday and ordered various cured meats and cheeses (the latter were truly amazing!) bruschetta, rainbow fries, a cacio e pepe, a carbonara, scallops, and a scacciatora stew. Everything was truly excellent! For dessert, we finished with vegan Nutella crepes, a vegan Nutella panna cotta, a salted caramel panna cotta, and finally a coconut and salted caramel dome. We spent €30 per person. Highly recommended!

19/07/2025: We ate here twice in 48 hours. I cry at the thought of leaving Rome, thanks in part to this place. The octopus and scacciatora are so good they make me sick. I hope to return as soon as possible and I hope they open a chain around the world. I love you.

17/07/2025: My first negative review ever but I feel compelled to warn you: AVOID this place. The owner started with an obvious lie to build rapport. Told us no service charge and free glass of prosecco - Another lie, no prosecco and tried to charge us 2.50 euro for tap water, which I called out and the waiter (who was nice) removed it. It’s a grift, they have used-car sales tactics and poor execution on the food. The picture of the pizza speaks for itself, sloppy and soggy. The carbonara was overcooked and tasted like cheez-whiz. Far and away worst meal we had in Rome.

04/08/2025: We had a wonderful time and will return. Surrounded by greenery, it's a great place to relax and the food is divine. The owners and staff are friendly and helpful. Highly recommended!

19/07/2025: An excellent lunch in a charming location with a view of the entire Borgo di Subiaco. Extremely friendly staff, delicious traditional dishes. Quick service, and they even recommended places to visit and go during our stay at the Borgo. The restaurant is accessible via a country road, unpaved but not particularly difficult. Furthermore, the journey is short and takes you directly to the parking lot in front of the estate entrance. Also, a special mention goes to the adorable cats who will keep you company during your meal.

15/07/2025: The portions were truly meager for the price. I don't know if anything has changed, but years ago you spent little and ate a lot; now you spend a lot and eat little. €14 for a plate with three (three!) tiny (and somewhat dried-out) rolls seems excessive to me. The chicken with peppers was practically all bones. In short, if you don't eat a first course, second course, and appetizer (and spend a lot!), you'll leave hungry.

11/08/2025: Excellent pastry shop! I recommend everyone to stop by for a delicious pastry. Especially the donuts.

10/08/2025: Pasticceria Pennisi is a guarantee of quality when passing through Palestrina. It's easily accessible with on-site parking, suitable for everyone, and has an air-conditioned dining room. The desserts are very good; prices for a small pastry start at €1.30, and gelato starts at €2.30. The gelato is very good, with a few flavors but excellent quality. Clean and professional atmosphere.

22/07/2025: On our way to Rome, we made a quick pitstop at a lovely little coffee bar just off the road. It turned out to be one of those unexpected gems that makes traveling through Italy such a pleasure. We ordered two Americanos and shared a pistachio croissant that was buttery, flaky, and just the right amount of sweet. The prices were very reasonable, especially considering the quality and setting. The patio was absolutely adorable—small tables shaded by umbrellas, with views of the quiet street and the picturesque town surrounding us. This charming town was the perfect backdrop for a mid-morning break. The service was warm and friendly, with a relaxed atmosphere that made us feel welcome from the moment we walked in. Inside, they boast an impressive selection of pastries, desserts, sandwiches, and even gelato—something for every kind of craving! If you're passing through the area, this spot is well worth a quick detour. Just the kind of place that reminds you to slow down and savor the simple joys of the journey.

03/08/2025: This is my second visit to this restaurant, and the experience is always truly delightful. For our appetizer, we tried the ricotta with flaked black salt, honey, and chopped pistachios, a delicate and surprising combination that perfectly opened the meal. Next, we enjoyed the fettuccine with porcini mushrooms, the fettuccine with wild boar, with a bold and well-balanced flavor, and the strozzapreti with cheese, pepper, and mint, an aromatic and enveloping dish. For our main course, the sliced beef was tender, juicy, and perfectly cooked. All this accompanied by courteous service and a welcoming atmosphere, making this place ideal for both dinner and lunch, as a couple or with friends. A must-try for those who love traditional cuisine and authentic flavors.

04/06/2025: Tornati in questo ristorante devo sempre confermare che e il top dai primi al crudo antipasto particolare col caldo e salute cozze e vongole verdi, poi il tonno scottato n1 al mondo, lo chef ci hadeloziato dall inizio la fine senza esclusione di colpi, complimenti x tutto sei la differenza nella ristorazione

16/07/2025: We ate: bruschetta, good, crispy bread, and well-made. The chef's recommended dish, spaghetti with clams and mussels, was hardly worthy of its name. It was certainly priced at €10, but the spaghetti was reheated, with small lupini beans and shriveled mussels. Then there was a seafood salad made with very poor quality ingredients, and finally a fried calamari dish, which was, however, very good, tender, and well-fried.

06/07/2025: The place is very nice, with a terrace that is not very big but with the capacity to contain several tables. The food is excellent and the portions are generous, we chose the fish menu. The staff is friendly and available for every request. We will definitely return.

16/07/2025: The location looks very cute, a shop we're almost unaccustomed to anymore, and unfortunately, I might add. There are only a few tables, as it's mostly a quick snack or takeout option. Delicious sandwiches! Their porchetta sandwich is really well-made! Plus, they look small, but they're perfect! Excellent value for money!
