29/06/2025: It's a wonderful discovery, you eat very well, minimal waiting times and a menu of homemade first courses. Friendly and welcoming staff ready to help you, then the menu written on the blackboard that is brought between the tables,,,,,,, it's truly a stroke of genius, congratulations, I highly recommend going there even if you're not passing through

14/07/2025: The restaurant is open for lunch Monday through Friday, also offering delivery to nearby offices. It offers a three-course menu of express first and second courses, prepared with excellent ingredients. Excellent cocktails are also available. Definitely worth a try.

21/06/2025: I have been to this place...what can I say? The quality of the products combined with the courtesy of the owner and his collaborators makes it an extremely pleasant experience. A mention must also be made of the location which is in an optimal position for nightlife.

20/07/2025: A place that wins you over at first bite. Living in Rome, this is one of those places where "they have to take you"... and luckily, many years ago, it happened! I still remember the first time: I was struck by the freshness, creativity, and authenticity of the products. I returned recently, this time to introduce it to my partner, and we were delighted to find everything exactly as it was: top quality, authentic flavors, a warm welcome. The appetizers never seem to end, each one better than the last, but the real heartbreaker was the tagliatelle with turbot, basil, and cherry tomatoes... a poem. A restaurant that never disappoints and stays in your heart. Truly enthusiastic.

15/07/2025: The best in Anzio, hands down. The fish is top-notch, both cooked and prepared, and the first courses are top-notch. There are still some in Anzio who know how to do this job. The best.

28/07/2025: I discovered the Criollo gelateria-bistro by chance and was truly impressed. I'll quickly overlook the beautifully decorated and furnished space, which I thoroughly enjoyed, with tables and chairs scavenged from flea markets and expertly put together (everything, including the bathroom, was impeccably clean). But, of course, the gelato! I wanted to try the sugar-free one (it's the ultimate test for a gelato shop, believe me) and I can honestly say: I've never had such good sugar-free gelato! Even the sugar-free whipped cream! I appreciated the quality of the chocolate and pistachio: superb! The gelato had the perfect consistency, just a touch grainier, just enough to make you appreciate the texture of what you're eating. Of course, the chocolate was fantastic, but you expect that from a gelato maker who named her place that way. The pistachio and hazelnut were also truly excellent (my children got the sugar-free one, of course, and this flavor with sugar was also perfect, not at all cloying). About the Owner: a passionate and knowledgeable artisan. She wasn't annoying when she spoke to us, very restrained in her manner but never lacking in kindness and courtesy. The overall atmosphere was wonderful. The price, too, was honestly super competitive considering the fantastic quality of the product. I'll be back, of course. But I highly recommend trying it at least once.

25/07/2025: Just one place I would ABSOLUTELY recommend if you're traveling to Rome or this part of the city. We went there twice during our three days here, and the first time was such a pleasant surprise, not only for the exceptional value for money, but also for the kindness and wonderful smiles of their staff! The owner took the time to make us laugh and passionately recommend his products, which was very much appreciated. He also offered us desserts and then served us glasses of their house wine filled to the brim! 😅 In short, a restaurant like few others in a city like few others 🤯

24/07/2025: We were originally headed to a different restaurant recommended by our hotel concierge, but as we walked past Il Fiammifero Strano, we struck up a conversation with the owner. Before we knew it, we were seated at a table — and we’re so glad we stayed. As many have mentioned, the owner is a true character, full of entertaining stories about the food, the wine, and his own adventures. His personality added a unique charm to the evening. The appetizers and entrees were all delicious, and although the dessert menu looked fantastic, we were too full to try it. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, the food was excellent, and the prices were very reasonable. Definitely a hidden gem worth checking out if you're in the area!

15/07/2025: Cena di compleanno " ristretta " 6 Amici . Attirati dal " passaparola " abbiamo provato questo posto . Locale con interno e sterno , piattaforma , dall'altra parte della strada . Partiamo con i Fritti Buono il suppli Filetto da comporre ...portato al tavolo aperto ( rimandato indietro ) L'alice del Fiore è rimasta in Sicilia ..era vuoto e , a mio avviso anche senza mozzarella e se c'era era piccolissima ( fatto notare al personale di " sala " ) Chips buone ma molli Pizza ottima e sottolineo , ottima ma a mio avviso cara . Dolci ...stendiamo un velo pietoso .. Sulla carta una buona varietà ....da servire uno forse due ..." lo Chef ..per fare le pizze / impasto ..non ha fatto i dolci " ci è stato risposto . Una crostata alta 1/2 cm senza lode .. Come dal titolo della recensione ..bisogna riguardare un po di cose .. Per il resto ...personale giovane e simpatico
