I had a wonderful experience here 2 years ago. VERY different a few weeks ago in the midst of a heat wave. 95 + degrees. We were visiting from the USA. Our party of 9 was seated outside and rushed through the ordering and eating process and our request for ice was denied. The only place in our 4 days in Rome to do so. They really showed no effort at all to making our meal a good experience. Other large groups were seated inside after our arrival. I was excited to bring my family here based on previous visit. We were all very disappointed.

The pasta is delicious and comes in a pan, but the pizza with prosciutto is very good.

We got here by accident, but this was one of the best stops at our Rome trip with my family. Everyone was kind, the food was great, the best carbonara I ever had. Even if it is in a tourist area, it felt very Italian, very authenthic, truly a great place I definitely recommend to try! I would go again the next time I visit the city!

I stopped by this restaurant after visiting the Vatican Museums during my trip to Italy. The carbonara is exquisite. The flavor of the meat is especially wonderful. They welcomed me warmly, even though I was a Japanese woman dining alone. The carbonara was €10, and with a drink it was €13 – excellent value for money. It seems that only Coca-Cola and Fanta are available as soft drinks at lunch. If I ever visit Italy again, I would definitely like to stop by again!

It's a classic Italian spot, the waiters are very friendly and greet you with a smile right away. It's a long-established Italian family who have been in the hospitality business for generations. The food is spectacular, the portions are generous, and the waiter even gave us advice on how much to order. We were about to order too much, and he told us that was enough, which he was right about. We ordered two carbonaras, a pizza, and escalopes in white wine sauce. Each dish was more delicious than the last, but the escalopes were incredible, served with potatoes and salad. They offered us complimentary shots of limoncello and brought out some refreshing watermelon to beat the heat after visiting the Vatican Museums. Authenticity and a true Italian feel throughout. If I return to Rome, this is a must-visit.

Everything was really good: perfect value for money. It's fantastic and the portions are really generous. Everything was good, the quality-price ratio was perfect, it's incredible. The portions are generous.

Excellent traditional cuisine served fresh from the pan. The owner, Giulio, is a very friendly guy.

Important! Service charge is 10 euros extra to the check, although the menu states that the service charge is included. Lasagna without meat... Pizza is delicious. I pay more for the atmosphere.

We left the Vatican Museum looking for a place to eat and were surprised by this restaurant that delivers a complete Italian experience! It reminded me of my grandmother's cooking. I recommend it without hesitation.
