12/03/2026: A well-run operation serving quick but feshly prepared food. We got the apero-cena and the waiter was very kind to prepare an special veggie one for me. The portions are huge, price is low, quality high. What more can you ask for? :)

31/03/2026: We had lunch at this typical Roman osteria, where I was particularly impressed by the attention to product quality. We each had four first courses, and I specifically chose this fettuccine with guanciale, Pachino tomatoes, puntarelle, and pecorino cheese. They were truly exceptional, not to mention the portion, which was certainly decent. You could definitely tell the fettuccine was homemade, as were the "fregnacce" (fried pasta) eaten by another person at my table. So if you go, you absolutely must order a first course. To finish, a chocolate cake, which they also made was truly delicious. I highly recommend it.

28/12/2025: The Bologna area is increasingly becoming a hub for the myriad of young people attending the nearby La Sapienza University. There are few real restaurants left. Among these, the Gran Sasso restaurant deserves a special mention: a family-run restaurant offering a variety of dishes that follow Roman tradition and more. The kindness of the owners and the excellent value for money are further reasons to return to a place that's as pleasant as it was in the old days.

19/04/2026: old 16th century monastery that now serves as ristorante. The food was delicious! Great craftmanship! Even something so simple as patatine fritte was made perfectly! We had the Pici, the Parmigiana, tagliata con porcino, it was so good. Also, with our kids, the staff was amazing! Surely we will come back

11/04/2026: What can I say? So much! We had such a great time the first night we went, we wanted to come back the next. The atmosphere is charming, the refectory of an old convent. Excellent food, both the pizzas and the other dishes. Generous portions, and fair prices. Thank you!

17/11/2025: Workday in Rome's EUR district. I decided to try The Green Restaurant inside the Hilton La Lama Hotel. I was expecting the "usual" solo dinner at the hotel, but instead Daniele, Giulio, Simon, Giorgia, and Jimmy made me feel like I was in good company. Top!!! I also want to compliment the kitchen, which, to top it off, provided me with a fruit salad—always a must-have for me after dinner.

07/04/2026: I was disappointed, thinking, "Italian food just doesn't suit our taste..." and was about to go look for a Korean restaurant when our tour guide recommended this place, and it was seriously delicious!!!!!!🥹 The truffle lasagna was insane!!!! + We also had seafood paella and grilled chicken hehe. The paella was great because it wasn't greasy and had just a tiny bit of spiciness, and the chicken was grilled perfectly! There were a few reviews saying it was salty, but it wasn't salty at all for us!!! You rarely see Koreans when you're walking around Italy, but since this place is definitely a famous Korean spot, there were several tables occupied lol. It definitely seems to be perfect for Korean palates!! The price was so much better than eating elsewhere, so I definitely want to visit again, but I'm leaving Rome soon ㅠㅠ My husband, who isn't very good at English, apparently said "best of my life" when paying the bill? lol I seriously highly recommend it😆😆😆 We couldn't make a reservation, so we walked in and waited about 15 minutes before getting in! The food took a little while to come out, but if it's this delicious, of course everything is forgiven!!!!!

19/04/2026: We ate outside, and despite being just steps from Piazza delle Coppelle, there was absolutely no crowding. Excellent service and excellent food. My only advice is to add a few bottles under €30 to your bucket list.

13/04/2026: This small but exquisite restaurant near the Pantheon impresses with its charming Mediterranean ambiance. The wine selection and recommendations were excellent. The appetizers—meatballs with Parmesan and pumpkin with bacon—were delicious and beautifully presented. The main courses, Italian-style pot roast on a bed of potatoes and steak with mushrooms, were an absolute delight, thanks in part to their high quality. The attentive and friendly service from the young ladies rounded off the evening perfectly. Rome at its best. This is bella Italia! Thank you!

18/04/2026: Exceptional is the word that comes to mind. Lunch on Saturday for a seaside getaway. The place is clean and the staff are very kind and welcoming. Superbly prepared dishes, exceptional combinations of flavors and ingredients, excellent wine and spirits list, excellent coffee, not the usual fare! Excellent desserts! If you stop by, don't miss it.
