08/04/2025: Restaurant selected during a guided tour of the nearby Palazzo Farnese. We had lunch on the panoramic veranda, welcomed with great cordiality and kindness. The food, well presented and served with grace, satisfied the most demanding expectations: the house starter, plentiful and of excellent quality, the tortelli filled with cheese and pepper and the lamb chops with seared fingers provided an excellent menu. Good quality/price ratio.

10/03/2025: We ate here twice, the first time we had a great time, the food was good and the quality/price ratio was right. The second time, unfortunately, we received a first course (sea bass ragout) that was completely watered down, so much so that we left it. I think a dish like this shouldn't be let out of the kitchen, it would take more attention. The new girl they were training in the room was very kind, it's a shame that they filmed her for every detail.

06/04/2025: Simply the best in the area! Family atmosphere but elegant and well looked after, excellent food, Fabrizio the owner is always smiling and available for your every need. Prices are reasonable. I highly recommend this osteria to anyone looking for a homely yet high quality dining experience!

17/03/2025: visited the village of Fumone yesterday March 16th for a motorbike tour, we were captured by the scent of freshly baked lemon biscuits! super product and even more kindness, the only negative note was that the lady had assured that the biscuits would last for a few weeks, but this is not the case, as soon as we got home (the remaining ones) they immediately ran out and now we have to go back to get them again!!

04/02/2025: What can I say... walking through the alleys of Fumone, a charming medieval village, I was captivated by the smells of lemon, orange, biscuits... I followed my sense of smell and arrived in a treasure chest: a small shop with a treasure of owner: kind and very nice who "forced" me to taste the other treasures of the shop/laboratory. I advise everyone not to miss tasting the lemon donuts and stock up on them at home (it's not nice to eat loads of them just because you're offered a taste and then go away empty-handed). OPTIMAL

15/04/2025: Fuimos mi pareja y yo a comer una pasta sin gluten y nos encontramos con el peor plato de pasta de nuestra vida, la pasta era a la vongole y ni la pasta ni las almejas sabían a nada. La textura de la pasta era pegajosa y no se podía comer.

10/04/2025: Nous avons été amené au restaurant par un monsieur au crâne rasé qui fait la publicité sur la place St Pierre. Le serveur italien en tenue de service était très professionnel mais malheureusement il est parti peu après notre arrivée. Ensuite nous avons été servis par une autre équipe de serveurs (qui n'étaient pas italiens) et là tout le charme est retombé : pas un mot de tout le service, juste le nom des plats quand ils nous les apportaient. Pizza simple mais pas non plus inoubliable. Lasagnes : nous nous sommes demandés s'il y avait de la viande hachée tellement il y en avait peu. Très salée. Nous avons eu les verres de limoncello promis par le monsieur, mais sans un mot, sans un petit truc à grignoter. Rien non plus en attendant les plats, ni pain, ni rien pour attendre. Bref, un repas silencieux et pas agréable.

19/03/2025: Alcuni amici ed io siamo venuti in questo locale a cena per stare un po' insieme, non potevamo scegliere locale migliore: la location è ottima, i proprietari ci hanno accolto con un grande sorriso che ci ha fatto sentire subito a nostro agio. La cucina è fantastica, le porzioni abbondanti a un prezzo modesto ma soprattutto a un ottimo sapore! C'è anche la possibilità di acquistare dei prodotti sardi che abbiamo subito provato, hanno una grande varietà di scelta su varie tipologie di prodotti, dai biscotti al vino a libri di cucina sarda. Esperienza top!!!!

03/04/2025: Considering the excellent reviews, I wanted to try two burgers, asked for takeaway. I hope it was an incidental episode: delicious sandwiches, but unfortunately while waiting I saw the owner (alone in the restaurant) alternating between the cash register (therefore handling cash) and preparing the orders without gloves, but above all without washing his hands between one activity and another. I repeat, I hope it was a sporadic episode, but as far as I'm concerned hygiene is important and I won't repeat the experience.
