Hosteria Santé In Cassino

We stopped by on a Sunday for lunch, having no other options, but it turned out to be a great discovery. The staff welcomed us with kindness and care, and the food was excellent. The blue crab tagliatelle, in particular, was truly delicious!

A lovely little restaurant, very friendly staff, and above all, very, very good food – best octopus ever!!! The tiramisu – served in a slightly "different" way – but fantastic!!!

Wonderful little out-of-the way place in the city of Cassino with a very tasty menu and excellent service that is both warm and professional. We especially enjoyed the paccheri al gambero e salsa di pistacchio (alone a sufficient reason to visit this restaurant), the carciofi alla giudea, the semifreddo, and of course the homemade bread. My only criticism of the atmosphere is that the décor is a bit random and the music selection could be better (American pop and funk is not the best fit for this place, in my opinion - mid-century Italian classics might work better). Highly recommend as a lunch spot if you're making a day trip to Montecassino. Do book a table, as it is a small and intimate spot.

As soon as you enter, you feel at ease. The place is small but elegant, and the music gently caresses your ears without disturbing you. You sit down and begin a journey through the emotions that each dish offers, and eating becomes magical. Refined dishes are magnificently prepared by the chef...who, besides being incredibly talented, is also very friendly. And we can't help but mention Simona, a young woman who, besides being excellent at serving you, manages to make you fall in love with the dish you'd like to order, explaining every little detail. My only advice...what are you waiting for?
