18/03/2026: I didn't think I'd eat such good fish in the mountains, it surprised me

08/03/2026: I had lunch with friends, everything was perfect, the portions were plentiful and tasted great, the staff were welcoming, courteous and kind. I was completely satisfied.

01/02/2026: Dar Bello de Nonna was a wonderful discovery. Intrigued by the name, we entered a welcoming and traditional restaurant, where you can immediately feel the authentic atmosphere of Roman tradition. The cuisine is authentic, high-quality, with excellent ingredients and absolutely fair prices. The owner's passion and professionalism are clearly evident, as he cooks with care and respect for traditional recipes, enhancing them with flavor and simplicity. We tasted the truly extraordinary tonnarelli all'amatriciana, the perfectly cooked artichokes, and an exquisite tiramisu that rounded out the meal perfectly. Each dish confirmed the quality and attention to detail. Also noteworthy is the courtesy and kindness, which make the experience even more pleasant and familiar. We will definitely return, both to try the other dishes on the menu and for the wonderful hospitality we received. A true place, like those of times gone by, truly worth discovering.

01/02/2026: A wonderful discovery today for lunch! We were craving typical Roman dishes, expertly cooked with authentic and wholesome ingredients: we were truly lucky to find this little place, where we were greeted with such kindness and professionalism by the girl in the dining room. Tonnarelli all'amatriciana, artichokes, baked potatoes, and homemade tiramisu. Everything was excellent! The final highlight was meeting Manuel, the owner: a kind, honest, and knowledgeable man, who told us about Nonna Mimma and her story. We'll definitely be back to try the meatballs and carbonara! 08/02/2026: Rude I won't comment on the food, which I presume is excellent. Two of us showed up with a baby a few months old, and we were told to wait, saying a table would be free in half an hour. We returned after a while and were told that the people at the table had already reached their second table. So we waited outside for another twenty minutes, asked for an update, and were told they were at the cafe. After another fifteen minutes, the waitress came out and told us, verbatim, that she was sorry, but the gentlemen had no intention of leaving the table, so they wouldn't let us sit. Something like this had never happened to us in over 15 years of frequent restaurant visits around the world. We're not that bad; let us know why you didn't want us.

15/03/2026: A terrible experience. I'll only provide three significant details: 1. Upon entry, we were greeted with the curt and, to say the least, hasty statement that "the reservation was for two." In reality, we entered in sequence with another couple, obviously with separate reservations. 2. Regarding the bathroom, I'll simply say that the floor was "sticky." 3. Upon payment, no advance bill was given, much less a description of the dishes purchased. The result: I was charged for another table, and then had to refund 30 euros.

04/01/2026: Came here with my family as it was only place open while we waited for our air BNB. It was fantastic and such a great way to start our Rome holiday. Value for money, wine was half the price what we paid every where else and food was delicious. Thank you

12/11/2025: Excellent restaurant with lots of interesting dishes, from traditional ones to quite singular ones like the one I had the boar with chocolate. Good choice of wines and beers including craft ones. The ambient is good and well done, service quite kind and attentive. Nit easy to find parking. Recommended

15/02/2026: This restaurant gave me exactly what I was looking for in Rome. The food was generous and delicious. The burger on a piece of bread surprised and won me over because, in my opinion, it made a dish that wasn't really home-cooked feel a bit more homey. And, well, I'll never forget the conversation I had at the register, even though I didn't realize who I was sitting with and arrived an hour late. Thanks again.

10/03/2026: Too noisy, the dining room is very large and always crowded, which is a shame because the traditional cuisine is good. We'll only return in the summer when we can sit outside.

01/03/2026: Of course, having been there for lunch on a holiday, I can assure you it was packed. Precisely for this reason, I think this charming restaurant is worth a visit. Friendly service, good food, and a fair price top it all off.

17/09/2025: This place is phenomenal! Angelo who owns it was so helpful and kind. The Roma and the Tricolore were 10/10, especially the Roma sandwich which was one of the best sandwiches i’ve had all over Italy. Please go here!!
