Excellent lunch here on our short trip to Rome! Food, service and atmosphere were great. Felt like a cozy neighborhood place, not a touristy joint. The hand made pasta with cow cheek Carbonara was Incredible and the house red wine and tiramisu didn’t disappoint! Will eat here again if we have the chance!

Best carbonara I’ve ever had in my life. We booked this as a treat for our first night in Rome, and we sat outside as the sun set. The service was brilliant, the staff were so friendly and attentive. The house wine was completely delicious we couldn’t stop drinking it!
I got the carbonara, both of which were so unique in flavour and were beyond delicious. For our mains my boyfriend got the veal shank (very rich and the meat would melt in your mouth! Big portion too) and I got the tomato meatballs (incredible tomato and the meatballs were insanely good). The tiramisu was 10/10. Would highly highly recommend! Our favourite dinner out of our entire week of staying here (and we did lots of research to book dinners etc)

Today, I had lunch at this restaurant, which is located near Piazza Navona, and I ordered the lasagna. It was absolutely delicious and I was really happy with my choice.
The staff were very friendly, polite, and professional. The owner, in particular, was extremely kind and respectful, which made the experience even more enjoyable.
I highly recommend visiting this restaurant if you’re in the area. Be sure to stop by and try their delicious food. It was a wonderful experience, and I would definitely come back again!

Food was average but good if you compare it to the tourist traps surrounding it.
The service though was good and the waiter was engaging and friendly and that was the highlight of the meal.
Worth mentioning the Tiramisu that came recommended but was more cream and less sponge. Wine selection was average too but overall if you want a meal but don't want the tourist traps around then this place will do, but don't expect anything exceptional.

Absolutely loved our experience at Virginea! The food was exceptional — incredibly fresh, flavorful, and authentic. You can truly taste the quality of the ingredients and the care that goes into every dish. Everything we tried felt genuinely Italian and beautifully prepared.
The service could have been a little better, but the manager was incredibly welcoming, attentive, and kind, which really made up for it. His hospitality made us feel genuinely welcomed and appreciated.
A wonderful place with amazing food and authentic flavors. We would absolutely come back and highly recommend Virginea to anyone looking for a great Italian dining experience in Rome! 🇮🇹❤️

My girlfriend and I stopped here for a quick lunch on a whim after walking past the restaurant, and we’re so glad we did.
The owner and his friend recommended the pappardelle alla coda, and it turned out to be one of the best recommendations we received during our entire trip. It was absolutely delicious and full of flavor. My girlfriend ordered the pasta all’amatriciana, a classic Roman dish, and she loved it as well.
The service was exceptional. I don’t remember our waiter’s name, but everyone made us feel incredibly welcome and took great care of us throughout the meal.
If you’re in the area, don’t hesitate to stop in. We came in without any expectations and left having one of our favorite meals in Rome. Highly recommended!

The food was delicious. The price was reasonable. However, they really need an AC. It was uncomfortable to eat while sweating. The wine was warm too, not sure if I was supposed to ask for cold.
