21/07/2025: An evening so surreal it was almost funny. We had a table for eight, and I'd reserved it for 10:00 PM. A little late, but oh well, it's summer. We arrived on time (despite parking being incredibly difficult to find) and the first thing we were told was, "Guys, the table won't be available until 10:30 PM." Not even the slightest apology, considering standing for 30 minutes isn't a short time... but be careful now. The owner comes up to us and asks, "Would you like a prosecco and some Ascoli olives while you wait?" We accepted, thinking it was a polite gesture to make up for the delay. We sat down at 10:35 PM and were immediately told that some items had run out. It's late, it can happen. We choose pizzas and fried foods and shortly afterward the waiter arrives asking to change two of the nine pizzas due to lack of ingredients (we wanted one pizza in the center as an appetizer, but it arrived before the bitters...). Oh well, I repeat, these things can happen. In all this, we were able to order beers twenty minutes after sitting down, thanks to service that was a DISASTER. We finished eating at 12:15 AM and weren't even offered amaro (which we obviously paid for). And then the mocking ending with €5 for prosecco to end on a high note (which we thought was free, but perhaps we were naive...). Anyway, eight customers lost, never again!

21/07/2025: When you book a meal from 15,900 km away, you hope that when the date and time arrives, the meal lives up to expectation. Moma more than delivered on all fronts. From the amuse-bouche and chef's snacks, the entrees, mains, pre-dessert, dessert, wines and petite fours on top of the ambience and excellent service, this was a very memorable and special meal in Rome. There was attention to detail, flair, exceptional flavours and beautiful presentation at every turn. Accompanied by Bresolin Asolo Prosecco DOCG to start, a 2020 Vino Nobile di Montepulciano DOCG Signore del Greppo Vannutelli and a 2021 Marco de Bartoli 'Bukkuram' Passito di Pantelleria with dessert, the wine selection and choices were perfect. Between us we had the sweetbreads diavola with plum ketchup, garlic and basic, the tortellini peach and basil, and the warm spaghettino with olive oil, onion reduction and goat's cheese. Each was well proportioned and tasty. Mains were BBQ pigeon with suprema sauce and dukka, the sheep loin in crepinette parmigiana with cream and miso mayonnaise, and the grilled octopus, tomato variations, with Mexican tarragon. Desserts were delicious, too, and the dishes named lemon vanilla and licorice and caramel popcorn don't really give a full impression of their complexity. So many mouthfuls of all the dishes were shared before adding in in the extras like pecorino ice cream between wafers and foie gras and other assorted goodies - another six tastes to share - and the flavours kept on coming. I thoroughly recommend Moma. It may not be in one of the trendier locations, but it doesn't need to be when the quality speaks for itself! Thank you Moma, for the exquisite and memorable dining experience.

01/08/2025: It's the best place I've eaten in Rome as a celiac. They're extremely careful with contamination, and all the dishes on the menu are gluten-free. I ordered a carbonara and it was incredible. It seems like a small plate, but halfway through, you're already full. The waiters are very attentive and on the ball, and it's just steps away from the Trevi Fountain.

19/06/2025: Driven by the reviews, I'm honest, I decided to go and try it too. I can only confirm everything that is said in the beautiful reviews here. The place is "of the past", a simple counter with only stuffed white pizzas. The owner serving. At 1:30 pm when I arrived, unfortunately there were only 2 flavors available. Both excellent.

18/07/2025: Excellent traditional Italian food. We ordered Bolognese lasagna and pasta with zucchini, pancetta, truffle, and pistachio pesto. Impressive, without a doubt the best pasta I've tried during my entire stay in Rome, very tasty and with balanced, fresh flavors. The place is small and very pleasant, so if you don't arrive early you'll likely have to wait for a table, but it's definitely worth it. The service and prices are more than reasonable.

17/07/2025: Without a doubt, the best place we've eaten in Rome. It was recommended to us. A place that seems "clandestine," where if you're not attentive, you won't realize it's a restaurant; you have to ring a bell and wait to be served. The place is very small, cozy, and well-decorated for a maximum of 18-20 people, but I think that, along with the food, sums up its charm: FAMILY-FRIENDLY. Quiet, family-friendly atmosphere, very good service, and spectacular food. The lasagna was the best we've ever tried, and the rest we ordered at the same time. Tip: Go early for lunch, around 12-12:15 p.m., and there's sure to be space. Later, you'll have to wait a bit for tables to rotate. They don't take reservations, so you have to wait in line. The only drawback, if I have to say something, is that they don't serve coffee. We'll be back.

10/06/2025: A delicious meal in a beautiful setting. Traveling by bike and visiting few restaurants, this place was a truly blissful experience. The only downside is that not all prices are displayed, and you quickly end up paying for a salad or potatoes as a side dish without knowing the price. It would have been nicer to see all the prices on the menu.

03/06/2025: Abbiamo passato un weekend a Sutri, in occasione del Festival della colonna sonora al palazzo Doebbing, la domenica abbiamo pranzato in questo piacevole ristorante, piatti particolari serviti velocemente e con professionalità. Presente anche anche una nutrita carta dei vini.

22/07/2025: My brother and I had a most wonderful night here as our first major dinner in Rome. The venue is central to the city but in a peaceful nook with a wonderful, warm atmosphere. The servers were all so friendly to us, helping to suggest wines and offering advice on traditions regarding certain dishes, like abbacchio. We definitely recommend any of the pasta here, having had cacio e pepe and carbonara, respectively—both served perfectly al dente and full of flavour! But every dish here is sure to be delicious, so we heartily encourage any and all to offer your business to this lovely venue.

22/07/2025: The appetizer buffet was delicious and plentiful... I couldn't manage to try everything. I recommend fasting for a couple of days before going.

19/07/2025: Excellent experience, not the easiest to get to but worth it. The buffet is very generous, not just with cheeses but also with cured meats and delicious side dishes. After the appetizer buffet, there's a first course and a second course. €32, drinks not included, a fair price. The liqueurs are also excellent. Highly recommended, especially for cheese lovers.

24/07/2025: Posso dire che è una cucina tradizionale rivisitata con nuove idee. Dall'antipasto, al primo, per arrivare ad un fa...vo...lo...so tiramisù tutto ottimo. Il mio motto è: Provare per credere ... perché quello che piace a me può non piacere a te.

27/06/2025: Dear tourists, if you want to eat well in a rustic and suggestive atmosphere like we did (we tourists too), come here and escape from the center. In this typical tavern we ate like a god! We ordered a bruschetta with Mangalica lard as an appetizer, 1 fried cod and 1 courgette flower. They were amazing! For the main course we ate tripe and a cacio e pepe. Really excellent! We would have liked to eat practically the whole menu because of how tasty the dishes were. Another positive aspect was the staff, really kind and helpful. If we ever come back to Rome, we will definitely come to you in Osteria! Thank you so much for the wonderful experience ❤️
