Where is the hospitality and human kindness when a person needs nothing more than water?

31/08/2025: Came here for a friend’s wedding. Although the wedding was great the hotel experience was rather underwhelming. The rooms had mould and rust, the basic housekeeping wasn’t done so we were left without additional toilet paper and drinkable water. The price included breakfast but lunch menu was overpriced for the amount and quality of food. The drive there is also very turbulent and has a lot of turns so most of the guests mentioned feeling very nauseous.

28/07/2025: Dopo una passeggiata ci siamo imbattuti in questo grazioso locale. Già da uno scorcio ci piaceva. Elegante e arredato con sobrietà e con arredamento d autore. Il padrone credo Gianfranco simpatico e molto sicuro del suo locale e del suo cibo Ed in infatti così è stato !! Cibo ottimo carne un burro, primi piatti eccellenti !! Piacevole pagare un prezzo un poco più alto del normale....ma almeno esci fuori contento soddisfatto e personale tralaltro super efficienti gentili e preparati Se ripasso da quelle zone...ci rivado

29/08/2025: Excellent restaurant located on the main street of Abbadia San Salvatore. A few dishes, but excellently prepared, at least the first courses, which we all tried. The ricotta tortelli with butter, pepper, and lemon stand out, but the tagliatelle with white ragù and wild fennel are also excellent. The owners and staff are friendly and courteous, making the atmosphere extremely pleasant, so much so that I returned two days later. When I return to Abbadia, I'll know where to stop for a delightful lunch.

25/08/2025: A delicious dinner, with carefully prepared, flavorful, and unique dishes. The entire staff was incredibly kind, including the delightful chef, who agreed to share a recipe with us. We greatly appreciated their kindness and patience with our children. Highly recommended, especially considering the quality/price ratio. An elegant location with a unique view. If in the area, we will definitely return.

26/07/2025: Reservamos una mesa en este hermoso restaurante por recomendación! Qué comida fantástica. Excelente servicio, Teenager tenía la hamburguesa que se veía y olía increíble, mi marido y yo teníamos la carne de res. Las comidas para adultos eran realmente deliciosas, hermosa carne de res cocinada a la perfección. El menú para niños era limitado pero delicioso. La elección del vino era extensa. ambiente en el jardín exterior era impresionante. Tristemente IT era nuestra última noche en esta zona, pero sin duda volveríamos cuando visite la zona la próxima vez! Gracias.

12/09/2025: Perfect place to avoid the usual noisy American tourists who come to Italy/Tuscany just to eat pasta and pizza and post photos on Instagram. Adorable place, good food, honest and helpful waiters.

11/09/2025: Incredible experience in this little restaurant. I recommend it 100%. You have to book for the evening. It's not possible to book for lunch. The dishes are different from what we usually see in other establishments. The owner is great and very kind. €60 for two, having really tasted everything. I will come back next time with pleasure.

25/08/2025: We came at Sunday evening without a reservation. Had to wait about 10 minutes. Ordered a pasta al cinghiale, pizza with salmon and a small salad, and a jug of red beer. The service was quick and polite, the food was really delicious. The place have some funny quotes or sentences on the walls. Really nice place, recommended.

25/08/2025: It may be a bit of a drive to get there, but it's worth it. The place is modern and welcoming, but its highlight is the veranda, which, when the sun is burning, offers a view you won't pay for. The service, too, is the kind that puts you at ease: always a smile, kindness, and it's those little things, like the complimentary liqueur at the end, that make you understand they really care. Here they make the pizza Neapolitan style, with a delicate, juicy crust, not the thin, dry one you find elsewhere. Those who like it that way will find it here made to perfection, with Bahian stuff on top. Even the desserts are no joke. It's a sincere place, for everyone, where you can eat heartily without being flayed, and they treat you as you deserve. I liked it a lot.

10/09/2025: We came here on a recommendation and were not disappointed. The hostess was incredibly kind and accommodating, and the food was delicious. The two of us shared a pasta dish and a baked fish dish. Both were excellent, and the portions were more than sufficient, with one or two side dishes. The prices are very reasonable. We'll be back!

04/09/2025: A pleasant surprise. The atmosphere is friendly and authentic, and you'll find traditional Tuscan dishes like ribollita, lampredotto, panzanella, and much more. Reasonable prices.

25/08/2025: Look, this is a proper osteria. The kind where, when a friend from out of town asks me where to eat, I send him straight here. Here, they focus on substance, and what substance! The first courses are serious fare: some incredible pici cacio e pepe, creamy like you'll never find anywhere else. And as for the meat, there's little to complain about: tender and perfectly cooked. Caterina and Marco, the owners, are down-to-earth people who make you feel at home without too many frills. The place is small, welcoming, and on one of those streets that smells of history. There's always someone who nitpicks, but when Sienese themselves return and bring friends, there must be a reason. If you want to eat well, this is the place. Make a reservation, otherwise you'll be left out.

25/08/2025: Outstanding Osteria. Simple food properly prepared and full of flavor. Marco’s interpretation of Cacio i Pepe is unique but superb. Let Katerina choose your wines — she knows what she is doing. I ate there twice in 6 days and was very satisfied both times.
