02/10/2025: We only visited the restaurant twice. It was delicious both times; the wild boar, fillet, and miale (?) with mustard sauce and red pepper is highly recommended. One criticism is that the portion sizes were different both times, even though it was the same dish. Full marks because you can talk to the chef, and our concerns were recognized and taken into account. We'll be back :-)
29/09/2025: I returned after many years for personal reasons. The location is very welcoming. The menu got a nice 7 only because the tagliata was a bit tough but good. The rest, from appetizers to dessert, was largely satisfactory and I don't understand the bad reviews. Prices were reasonable. The owner was very kind.

09/09/2025: Our dinner was fantastic, thanks in part to the view and the quality of the food. But what truly made the atmosphere and made our stay even more enjoyable was Francesco! 24/03/2025: Non posso fare una recensione sul cibo, però posso dire che sono stati veramente scortesi, perchè dopo aver telefonato più volte per confermare prenotazione inviato messaggi, arrivati davanti al ristorante di sabato sera alle 20:00 ristorante chiuso, ci possono essere milioni di motivi per tenere chiuso, ma obbligo avvertire le persone con la prenotazione, comportamento non accettabile, senza alcun rispetto.

10/07/2025: Da Leonardo, dal 2017 ci andiamo ogni anno durante la nostra settimana di vacanza in Toscana. Ceniamo lì almeno 4 volte durante la settimana e ogni volta è una meraviglia. L’accoglienza calorosa, la generosità del padrone di casa, la qualità dei piatti rendono ogni visita un momento eccezionale, fuori dal tempo. Tutto è impeccabile, in un’atmosfera conviviale e sincera che fa di questo posto un indirizzo davvero speciale. Complimenti allo chef, che sa esaltare i buoni prodotti senza mai una nota stonata. È solo un piacere. Complimenti a tutti.
22/06/2025: Hemos comido aquí durante muchos años en nuestras vacaciones y como de costumbre todo es excelente incluso cuando no estás seguro de lo que has pedido. Muy recomendable para una experiencia típica toscana.

I like their pizza, as well as what they call ciaccino, and the prices are super fair. Yes, the place isn't clean; more attention would be needed.

15/09/2025: Restaurant: The food in this restaurant is undoubtedly very good – you can immediately tell that the chef really knows what he's doing. Unfortunately, the price-performance ratio is completely out of whack. For a small restaurant in a tiny and relatively unknown town like Montisi, the prices are completely exorbitant. There are only two flat rates for primi piatti and secondi piatti – this means, for example, that you have to pay a whopping €22 for a tiny soup that definitely won't fill you up. Even €12 would be quite high for that, but €22 is truly outrageous. The bigger problem, however, is the ordering policy: After we had already ordered a drink and actually only wanted one main course, the waiter informed us that we had to order two dishes per person. The information about this is only mentioned in very small print at the bottom of the menu. This means that guests are either forced to eat more (and pay significantly more) than they actually want – or leave the restaurant. That's exactly what happened at the next table: The guests got up and left because they couldn't afford or didn't want to comply with this rule. We ourselves did order a second course, but it felt very strange to be forced to do so. In my opinion, such a practice is neither hospitable nor economically sensible. Either you allow guests to order according to their hunger and appetite and still make money, or you force them to order two courses and ultimately lose customers. I've never experienced anything like this in Italy, and frankly, I find it extremely rude.
26/06/2025: La Romita es un pintoresco restaurante dirigido por la familia que sirve comida tradicional toscana casera. Éramos 4 adultos que compartimos dos aperitivos que eran increíbles y disfrutamos de primer y segundo plato y luego compartimos un postre. Aunque no son baratos los precios eran comparables a otros restaurantes de calidad en los que hemos estado y la calidad de los platos era excepcional. Los propietarios hablan un poco de inglés, pero logramos entender lo que se ofrecía con la ayuda de un menú en inglés que explicaba algunos de los platos que se ofrecen. Una experiencia auténtica que disfrutaríamos felizmente de nuevo.

03/11/2025: I've been to Fattoria Il Pulcino twice in just a few days, the first with my company for an event with over 80 guests from various countries—Japan, Germany, the United States, Peru, and England—and the second on my own. During the company experience, we participated in a wonderful pasta-making workshop, led with care and kindness, followed by a pleasant, well-organized, and excellent dinner. When I returned privately, I was able to appreciate the quality of the cuisine even more: truly excellent meats, cured meats, and cheeses, accompanied by good wine. I also visited the shop, where I purchased two truly extraordinary pecorino cheeses (one with truffle and one with pears). You can sense the owners' great attention to hospitality, tradition, and connection to the local area. I also found it wonderful to see how local schools are involved in their small artisanal projects. An authentic, well-kept, and welcoming place, definitely worth a visit.

20/07/2025: Scoperto anni fa sulla strada che collega Montalcino e Pienza…terrazza sulla splendida campagna della val d’orcia…è diventato un luogo del cuore per la pace, il paesaggio ma soprattutto l’ottima cucina. La Val d’Orcia merita ogni anno almeno un weekend ed ogni anno noi estatici ammiratori della natura meritiamo una sosta dalle sorelle di Boccon Divino!
07/07/2025: Wir waren zum Abendessen hier. Der Ausblick ist unglaublich und man sollte ihn sich wirklich nicht entgehen lassen. Das Menü lass sich vielversprechend (aber mühsam) auf dem Handy! (für mich ein No-Go in dieser Preisklasse, aber das empfindet jeder anders) Wir entschieden uns gegen das Menü und bestellten nur 2 Gänge. Die waren wirklich sehr gut. Man müsste meinen, dass man das alles mit 5 Punkten bewertet müsste. Leider fühlten wir uns jedoch nicht wirklich wohl. Die Atmosphäre war uns zu abgehoben - irgendwie steif und blutleer. Hinzu kommt: ich hasse Jazz als Hintergrundmusik beim Essen. Aber, wie gesagt - das ist Geschmacksache. Uns hat es nicht so gefallen. Daher 1 Punkt weniger. Werden wohl nicht wieder kommen. Zusammenfassung: Aussicht unglaublich, Essen sehr gut (wenn auch etwas teuerer), Atmosphäre sicherlich toll für jemanden, der etwas Cici toll findet.

22/04/2025: Cibi pessimo, birra allungata, servizio ancora peggio, cameriera molto maleducata. Abbiamo chiesto il cambio del primo piatto perché faceva un cattivo odore (pici con la nana) la cameriera ha inventato delle scuse improponibili per non farlo. Credo proprio che non ci ritorno
02/03/2025: Tuffo nel passato con sapori autentici e genuini come le persone che ci lavorano. Ottimi sia i pici al ragù bianco che le scaloppine ai porcini e la tagliata al rosmarino. Prezzi onesti , sicuramente da fermarsi se si è in zona .
