30/09/2025: I ate at this pizzeria and was thrilled. The pizza was truly delicious; the dough was tasty and crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, easy to digest and melt-in-your-mouth. The toppings were amazing, and you could taste the high quality. It's a shame about the service, because there's not much seating, but to order, we had to call the waitress ourselves, and throughout the entire dinner, they never came to check if everything was okay, or to ask if we wanted more drinks or dessert. Furthermore, when the pizzas arrived, they didn't explain anything to us, and I'm sorry, but for a pizza like this with such high prices, I'd say it's fair to do so and not leave the pizza and run away! The place is gorgeous, with a breathtaking view. We'll be back to try new pizzas, and I hope the service is better 🤞 Congratulations 👏

01/05/2025: Abbiamo preferito l'ottima cucina senese, a base di carne e pasta fatta in casa a mano, al menu di pesce, e siamo rimasti molto soddisfatti: i piatti, molto curati ed appetitosi, di grande qualità, serviti con attenzione, sono stati tutti molto piacevoli. Il locale, di lunga tradizione, è molto piacevole.

30/04/2025: Era la prima volta che ci andavamo, anche se in pieno centro della nostra città. Sapevamo già che non sarebbe stata una cena da poca spesa, però l'importante è che siamo stati benissimo. 05/07/2025: El mismo día que llegamos a la Toscana decidimos ir a un restaurante cercano recomendado por el hotel. Llegamos al establecimiento donde mi hija de 11 años (que habla Italiano con fluidez) se adelantó y preguntó si podían hospedarnos a los 4. El anfitrión inmediatamente comenzó a maltratarla, en voz muy alta, preguntándole si no era capaz de levantar el teléfono y llamar para solicitar una reserva, entre otras ofensas. Se aseguró de que todo el restaurante pudiera escucharlo e incluso después de que salimos del restaurante pudimos escucharlo haciendo bromas sobre nosotros y los clientes riendo. Seamos claros aquí: si logras ser cruel con un niño, no es un rasgo de personalidad ni tampoco se trata de que no te importe lo que piensen los demás. ES SIMPLEMENTE CRUEL Y MALVADO. Y los clientes que se ríen son igual de malos. Por lo tanto, te sugiero que si lees este post y estás en Montefollonico evites este restaurante o, si lo prefieres, pases por allí, pidas una mesa y cuando te traten mal respondas en el buen y viejo Italiano: VAFFAN… C. U. ¡¡¡L.O!! !! !

02/10/2025: We only visited the restaurant twice. It was delicious both times; the wild boar, fillet, and miale (?) with mustard sauce and red pepper is highly recommended. One criticism is that the portion sizes were different both times, even though it was the same dish. Full marks because you can talk to the chef, and our concerns were recognized and taken into account. We'll be back :-)

29/09/2025: I returned after many years for personal reasons. The location is very welcoming. The menu got a nice 7 only because the tagliata was a bit tough but good. The rest, from appetizers to dessert, was largely satisfactory and I don't understand the bad reviews. Prices were reasonable. The owner was very kind.

15/09/2025: Restaurant: The food in this restaurant is undoubtedly very good – you can immediately tell that the chef really knows what he's doing. Unfortunately, the price-performance ratio is completely out of whack. For a small restaurant in a tiny and relatively unknown town like Montisi, the prices are completely exorbitant. There are only two flat rates for primi piatti and secondi piatti – this means, for example, that you have to pay a whopping €22 for a tiny soup that definitely won't fill you up. Even €12 would be quite high for that, but €22 is truly outrageous. The bigger problem, however, is the ordering policy: After we had already ordered a drink and actually only wanted one main course, the waiter informed us that we had to order two dishes per person. The information about this is only mentioned in very small print at the bottom of the menu. This means that guests are either forced to eat more (and pay significantly more) than they actually want – or leave the restaurant. That's exactly what happened at the next table: The guests got up and left because they couldn't afford or didn't want to comply with this rule. We ourselves did order a second course, but it felt very strange to be forced to do so. In my opinion, such a practice is neither hospitable nor economically sensible. Either you allow guests to order according to their hunger and appetite and still make money, or you force them to order two courses and ultimately lose customers. I've never experienced anything like this in Italy, and frankly, I find it extremely rude.

26/06/2025: La Romita es un pintoresco restaurante dirigido por la familia que sirve comida tradicional toscana casera. Éramos 4 adultos que compartimos dos aperitivos que eran increíbles y disfrutamos de primer y segundo plato y luego compartimos un postre. Aunque no son baratos los precios eran comparables a otros restaurantes de calidad en los que hemos estado y la calidad de los platos era excepcional. Los propietarios hablan un poco de inglés, pero logramos entender lo que se ofrecía con la ayuda de un menú en inglés que explicaba algunos de los platos que se ofrecen. Una experiencia auténtica que disfrutaríamos felizmente de nuevo.

30/09/2025: A stunning farm, with high-quality produce, all made on site using the fruit of their own crops. The extra virgin olive oil and classic Vino Nobile di Montepulciano are both must-try. We had lunch with a plate of Pici ai Funghi, a truly unique autumnal flavor. Easily accessible via the A1 motorway, just a few kilometers from the Chiusi Chianciano exit. Whenever I'm in the Tuscany area, I always stop by to try their dishes. The atmosphere is DOCG, warm, and welcoming.

20/07/2025: Ristorante con una cucina di altri tempi, schietta, varia e realizzata alla grande! Menù vario con piatti della tradizione e non,ma tutti realizzati con grande grinta, prodotti ottimi, porzioni abbondanti,prezzi modesti in rapporto alla a qualità !Locale semplice , pulito, personale cordiale e efficiente.Riconosciuto dall’accademia della cucina italiana!

18/01/2025: Bel locale con parcheggio, in inverno molto accogliente con il bracere acceso, cibo ottimo cucinato all'espresso. Il menù è vario, spazia dalla carne al pesce , c'è davvero una grande scelta. Il fritto di carciofi e fiori per me è impareggiabile. Il personale è gentile e professionale. Il titolare molto cordiale. Rapporto qualità/ prezzo più che buono.
