31/12/2025: Honestly the pizza is good, nothing to complain about, but the place needs a good clean and a coat of paint.

18/03/2026: Prime location. Front row seats. Espresso €3 Large cappuccino €6 We didn't have a cover charge, so everything was perfect. The waiter arrived within minutes and our daughter in her stroller received a warm welcome.

10/09/2025: Beautiful hotel with quiet, spacious rooms. A venerable, well-renovated, well-maintained, and harmoniously furnished hotel. A beautiful garden with a terrace on the city walls offers views all the way to Lake Trasimeno. Good breakfast buffet. Mr. Seku took excellent care of everything.

09/03/2026: We ate here because it was convenient and right across from where we were staying and we were very pleasantly surprised since some of the reviews are not good. The pizza was delicious. (It definitely wasn't frozen like some of the other reviews say. We could see her making it.) The salad was a tasty work of art, house wine was excellent , and the woman serving us was very friendly. She was the only one there so we did have to wait a little bit but it wasn't too long and we had a delicious carafe of wine to enjoy while we were waiting.

16/02/2026: We took the platter for two people, the cured meats seemed frozen and full of fat, almost inedible.

10/12/2025: We ordered 4 pizzas late at night, the staff were courteous and kind, they waited for us until they closed. The only downside is that the two pizzas with salami were really inedible, I don't know if the salami had gone bad or something else, but they had a nauseating smell, the other 2 Margherita pizzas were good.

17/08/2025: Huge disappointment. Cold welcome, unpleasant waitress. We asked to have coffee on the terrace, and the waitress demanded we pay the bill first. It was very awkward because it implied we were going to leave without paying, even though we had been queuing for quite some time. Avoid this place if you want to have a good evening.

07/02/2026: For goodness sake, a welcoming place...but you can't spend €22.50 for a first course with sauce, a side dish called fagioli all'uccelletta, but simply beans taken out of the can and heated up and coffee...no no...for me a nice CROCIONE ➕️

Unico punto migliorabile è l’offerta gastronomica: considerando la raffinatezza dell’ambiente, ci saremmo aspettati una maggiore attenzione al gusto.

09/03/2026: Rude, terrible food and very long waiting times

08/03/2026: The graduation dinner, which was supposed to be a special occasion, turned into an experience to forget. Let's start with the appetizers: crostini with a combination that to call questionable would be an understatement: tomato, hot dog, and anchovies. A combination so absurd that it left everyone perplexed: who would ever think of putting anchovies and hot dogs together? To make matters worse, the bruschetta bread was simply inedible, hard as a rock yet rubbery at the same time, a truly inexplicable texture. After the appetizers, an interminable wait began: the first courses arrived at 10:15 PM, a full two hours later. By then, my appetite had been replaced by frustration. The picio cacio e pepe, which should be a simple but balanced dish, was actually just "pepper": there was no trace of the cheese; it had probably been forgotten in the kitchen. The next course, pasta with pesto, tasted precooked: both hard and mushy, a consistency typical of poorly reheated pasta. The drinks didn't save the evening either: the Hugo Spritz seemed completely devoid of wine, transformed into a sweetish molasses more akin to syrup than a cocktail. The finale was a Sacher torte, which should have ended the dinner on a high note. Unfortunately, this too was a total disappointment: two thick layers of extremely sweet jam made the cake cloying and practically inedible. In short, what was supposed to be a graduation party turned into a frustrating experience in almost every way: exorbitant wait times, poorly executed dishes, and questionable pairings. It's hard to imagine returning.

10/01/2026: Fantastic place. We went twice during our 1-week stay in Siena. The products offered, both food and drinks, are local only and of exceptional quality. Everything is very tasty and beautifully presented. The owners are very, very kind and offer helpful advice and explanations for those who are not familiar with the local cuisine. We had great time and my husband, myself and our dog really enjoyed the place, the food and the warm, welcoming service. Thank you for your hospitality.

02/01/2026: Truly a wonderful trattoria! Antico Tagliere is a warm and welcoming osteria, where you immediately feel at home. The owners are extremely kind, helpful, and attentive. The food is excellent, high-quality, and carefully prepared. A truly positive experience, highly recommended!

18/01/2026: A historic bar (judging from the black and white photos clearly visible inside) located in one of San Gimignano's most beautiful squares, with a poorly heated outdoor area and a fairly clean shared bathroom. The food was barely adequate; in the land of pici and Vernaccia, a €13 industrial-strength picio cacio e pepe isn't worth it, even considering the portion size, which is as poor as the quality and quantity of the wine. The service was sloppy, with no placemats on the table, and the cutlery in bags thrown away haphazardly. But the icing on the cake was the waitress bringing the cheese bowl, dusting it off for us, and taking it back, and the unpleasant jokes from a man with glasses about my wife being asked to clean the kitchen instead of paying the bill. We're Tuscan, and irony is part of our DNA, but respect for the customer must be a priority; after all, we don't know each other at all... Oh, still water in a half-liter bottle, €2.50. I said it all.

30/12/2025: We arrived in San Gimignano very disappointed by the behavior of the shopkeepers, not all of them, but many... Especially in this bar, where we were treated rudely. A small beer was 4 euros, mulled wine 6 euros, a glass from the paper and 100 ml of wine were really just a drop, so 10 euros. I think it was enough to sit at the table, there were 4 of us, just to drink the drinks... The lady made us get up, not even out of courtesy!!!!!, but because we didn't spend enough to sit down 😨... I have a business and I would never have dreamed of such behavior, also because we are not kids who make a racket, but we are polite people. Mehhhhh......

12/11/2025: The price is a bit high, especially at lunch. The service is satisfactory.

18/10/2025: Empty, tasteless croissant and a glass of water. €2.80.

31/10/2025: Hidden gem of a winery! You eat at shared tables, and it has an authentic feel. Prices are super reasonable - highly recommend trying the truffle bread as a snack. We also ended up purchasing some bottles of wine (€5) and olive oil (€14) to bring back home, which were delicious.

30/10/2025: The Italian aperitivo, just as we imagine it and love it! A passionate person, simple and delicious products, no fuss and all in a friendly atmosphere!
