19/08/2025: Excellent restaurant in a very picturesque location. Prices are moderately high, but we had an excellent local Florentine steak. The cheese appetizers were very good, and their baked potatoes deserve special mention. They were incredibly good! 🥰

17/06/2025: I often stop at this pastry shop for a quiet breakfast. Both in summer and winter I can sit at a table and give myself 10 minutes of relaxation. In winter the indoor tables give a warmth and a sense of serenity. In summer, however, I sit at the outdoor tables, in the quiet square. Often a light breeze, like today, keeps the air fresh and sipping a cappuccino and tasting a good pasta becomes really pleasant. The area is quiet, and even if it is not an exclusive location, I prefer it to the more lively Piazza Arnolfo, a few steps away. If you pass by here and want to pamper yourself and relax I recommend this place. You will find kindness, serenity and courtesy. The staff is very kind and will be able to advise you in front of the specialties that will leave you in doubt about which to try, for their variety.

05/06/2025: Recientemente pasamos 3 días en Fattorio Poggio Alloro y fue nuestro favorito 3 días de nuestro viaje de 2 semanas! La gente es maravillosa allí, la comida era excepcional y las vistas eran espectaculares. Cerca de San Gimgnano, así que mucho que hacer. Nos encantó la sensación relajada del lugar y el hermoso campo. ¡No puedo esperar a volver!

05/06/2025: Estando en Toscana desea probar el vino Chianti. Sí, lo tengo y mucho más. Hemos paseado junto a los viñedos y olivos, hemos saltado a los establos y hemos aprendido dónde y cómo se crea el vino. Todo el grupo de nosotros tuvimos un maravilloso tiempo de cata de vinos, disfrutando de maridaje de vino con productos locales. La cena se basó en la granja local y la comida de temporada y hemos aplaudido. Una señora que estaba celebrando su cumpleaños el mismo día tuvo la oportunidad de beber vino de la copa muy especial. Quedamos fascinados con el paisaje, la comida de gran calidad y el vino de Dios y sobre todo apreciamos el amor y el cuidado de la familia y todo el equipo. 02/09/2025: Slightly outside Siena, located inside a very welcoming campsite surrounded by greenery, quiet, and with very friendly staff. The Tuscan specialties and pizza are excellent. Recommended 👍

28/08/2025: Ci siamo fermati per caso in questa cascina sulla strada per tornare a casa.Ristorante pienissimo, ma questo non ha minimamente diminuito la professionalità dei proprietari, il gusto delle pietanze e la velocità del servizio.Una bontà da cucina di casa Toscana per l estasi delle papille gustative.

The location is adequate, though noticeably removed from the city's more vibrant and desirable attractions, which may pose a slight inconvenience for those wishing to explore the area more easily.

24/07/2025: Parking is available on site. Luggage is delivered to and from the room by a service. The complex consists of a 12th-century monastery and other outbuildings. The room is large, clean, and well-equipped. Personally, I missed having a wardrobe to unpack my suitcase. However, we were there for almost a week. Most visitors only stay two to three nights. The outdoor pool is absolutely fantastic. There are plenty of loungers, as long as they aren't double-booked by Americans (sun and shade). We didn't use the rest of the spa area; we were always out and about. The staff is nice and friendly. Breakfast is served on the terrace in good weather, and the selection is good. Now for the negatives: the dinner could definitely be better in terms of quality. We tried the food twice and were disappointed both times. The steak was tough for us, and the steak was tough for the next table two days later. One even went back to the kitchen. My pasta with ragu tasted more like a snack bar. I've been passionate about cooking authentic Italian food for years. I buy authentic Italian products. The food was a complete disappointment. We hadn't expected anything different. We weren't even asked for our opinion at checkout. Nobody seemed to care. Summary: Top-notch facilities and staff, dinner in the village or on the go.

16/08/2025: We’ve been here twice, both times the food was great. The baked potatoes are different than you’d expect but in a good way. These were probably the best potatoes we’ve had this holiday. They’re a mix between fries and chips. And also ofcourse lovely staff.

05/08/2025: Came there to try T-bone steak, but they had the last piece of meat for approx 4 people, so we decided to go with another dish, but with the same meat. We asked for medium rare steak, but in the end on our plates we had every degrees of steak doneness, from almost blue to real well done. But the Greek salad was very good.

02/08/2025: Best food in Montalcino, and actually best dinner during our Italian holiday, including Lago Maggiore and Cinque Terre. We had panzanella salads for lunch and came back for dinner. Risotto and Tagliatelle verdure were delicious! Good prices and quality of food!

20/08/2025: Be careful, they charge 15% for service. They charged us 80 euros for four pizzas and four beers.

13/08/2025: A little off the beaten track from the entrance to San Gimignano (hence the restaurant's name), this is a pleasant and accessible little restaurant offering excellent value for money. It's basic, but good, and not overpriced, especially for families with children.
