25/11/2025: Don’t believe to 4.5. Very mediocre food! We had asked the beef tartare, wish we did not. I love beef tartare, but this was not good at all. I had one bite and it was enough. I asked “crostinis” wich was dry toast, with no flavor. The one with gorgonzola was ok but the bacon on the top was almost raw, in one piece, so with one bite the whole thing is coming… it wasn’t baked it wasn’t cut up. Not a good experience at alllllll! The wine wasn’t tasty as well. Don’t waste your money, find another place!

31/07/2025: The view is lovely, the place though is crowded and loud. Sadly it took forever till we could order and till our coffee arrived. Getting a slice of cake was near impossible because the staff seemed overwhelmed, so we left without dessert.

24/07/2025: Parking is available on site. Luggage is delivered to and from the room by a service. The complex consists of a 12th-century monastery and other outbuildings. The room is large, clean, and well-equipped. Personally, I missed having a wardrobe to unpack my suitcase. However, we were there for almost a week. Most visitors only stay two to three nights. The outdoor pool is absolutely fantastic. There are plenty of loungers, as long as they aren't double-booked by Americans (sun and shade). We didn't use the rest of the spa area; we were always out and about. The staff is nice and friendly. Breakfast is served on the terrace in good weather, and the selection is good. Now for the negatives: the dinner could definitely be better in terms of quality. We tried the food twice and were disappointed both times. The steak was tough for us, and the steak was tough for the next table two days later. One even went back to the kitchen. My pasta with ragu tasted more like a snack bar. I've been passionate about cooking authentic Italian food for years. I buy authentic Italian products. The food was a complete disappointment. We hadn't expected anything different. We weren't even asked for our opinion at checkout. Nobody seemed to care. Summary: Top-notch facilities and staff, dinner in the village or on the go.

05/06/2025: Estando en Toscana desea probar el vino Chianti. Sí, lo tengo y mucho más. Hemos paseado junto a los viñedos y olivos, hemos saltado a los establos y hemos aprendido dónde y cómo se crea el vino. Todo el grupo de nosotros tuvimos un maravilloso tiempo de cata de vinos, disfrutando de maridaje de vino con productos locales. La cena se basó en la granja local y la comida de temporada y hemos aplaudido. Una señora que estaba celebrando su cumpleaños el mismo día tuvo la oportunidad de beber vino de la copa muy especial. Quedamos fascinados con el paisaje, la comida de gran calidad y el vino de Dios y sobre todo apreciamos el amor y el cuidado de la familia y todo el equipo. 05/06/2025: Recientemente pasamos 3 días en Fattorio Poggio Alloro y fue nuestro favorito 3 días de nuestro viaje de 2 semanas! La gente es maravillosa allí, la comida era excepcional y las vistas eran espectaculares. Cerca de San Gimgnano, así que mucho que hacer. Nos encantó la sensación relajada del lugar y el hermoso campo. ¡No puedo esperar a volver!

11/01/2026: We stopped because we were feeling a bit peckish, and we can say we were right because we had a wonderful time, thanks to the atmosphere, the pleasant music, the service, and especially the fantastic toasted sandwich, which was truly delicious—so much so that I ate two! The place is very nice and I think it's a pleasant place for any occasion and any time of day. Thank you for your hospitality.

08/10/2025: Great spot. Nice little porch for al fresco dining. The owner was so nice and accommodating. The food was excellent and the drinks were reasonable prices and outstanding. Well done. Small selection of food in the menu but 4 of us all had different entrees and all were GREAT.

20/07/2025: Scoperto anni fa sulla strada che collega Montalcino e Pienza…terrazza sulla splendida campagna della val d’orcia…è diventato un luogo del cuore per la pace, il paesaggio ma soprattutto l’ottima cucina. La Val d’Orcia merita ogni anno almeno un weekend ed ogni anno noi estatici ammiratori della natura meritiamo una sosta dalle sorelle di Boccon Divino!

07/07/2025: Wir waren zum Abendessen hier. Der Ausblick ist unglaublich und man sollte ihn sich wirklich nicht entgehen lassen. Das Menü lass sich vielversprechend (aber mühsam) auf dem Handy! (für mich ein No-Go in dieser Preisklasse, aber das empfindet jeder anders) Wir entschieden uns gegen das Menü und bestellten nur 2 Gänge. Die waren wirklich sehr gut. Man müsste meinen, dass man das alles mit 5 Punkten bewertet müsste. Leider fühlten wir uns jedoch nicht wirklich wohl. Die Atmosphäre war uns zu abgehoben - irgendwie steif und blutleer. Hinzu kommt: ich hasse Jazz als Hintergrundmusik beim Essen. Aber, wie gesagt - das ist Geschmacksache. Uns hat es nicht so gefallen. Daher 1 Punkt weniger. Werden wohl nicht wieder kommen. Zusammenfassung: Aussicht unglaublich, Essen sehr gut (wenn auch etwas teuerer), Atmosphäre sicherlich toll für jemanden, der etwas Cici toll findet.

21/01/2026: We've been cycling for two weeks now. Best accommodation so far (also in terms of value for money). Absolutely friendly, great food. Beautiful view/sunset from the terrace. The vaulted cellar (dinner) was also fantastic!

18/10/2025: It is located in a hamlet on a hill, quiet, a very nice and welcoming place, we stayed there for dinner and we made the right choice, we also had breakfast which was very well stocked with everything

05/10/2025: A nice restaurant, with kind but slow staff. It needs improvement. The dishes, considering the price paid, weren't abundant.

01/10/2025: Pici all'aglione, peposo with polenta, and grape and walnut cake. Amazing!!! Everything homemade, served with kindness and courtesy, and a more than reasonable price (€49 for two). Highly recommended!

29/07/2025: It's good, the service is very good. On the other hand, €7.50 for a Coke and €6.50 for iced tea is taking tourists for fools. And you can imagine that they offered us drinks very quickly, before we even looked at the prices. €98 for 4: 2 pizzas, a salad, and lasagna, that's really a tourist trap.
