25/08/2025: We went last night for the first time, intrigued by the excellent reviews the place has. I can confirm the excellent home cooking, the kindness and friendliness of the owners. They take care of everything and look after you until the end. Their dogs were so welcoming; they kept us company throughout the entire dinner. The place is spectacular... A paradise surrounded by greenery, far from everything. Recommended for those who love nature, tranquility, and above all, good food. Added to the list of places we'll definitely return to. 👍

25/08/2025: Unforgettable dinner! The welcome was exceptional, both from the gentleman who managed the tables and from the chef! The food was impeccable, all locally sourced and with spectacular flavors. The portions were more than generous, and for the more adventurous, they even allowed for seconds, which the chef asked for several times! We'll definitely be back!

24/08/2025: Excellent restaurant! A welcoming and quiet atmosphere and super friendly staff. The food, typical of the Maremma region, is excellent: flavorful cured meats, a rich and varied first course (I personally would have preferred the tortelli with ragù and the gnocchi with butter and sage rather than the other way around, which is why I'm giving the food 4/5 stars). The desserts are the highlight (we had the chocolate and chili pepper cake and the salted caramel cheesecake). Excellent value. Highly recommended.

28/08/2025: Beautiful place. The owners are incredibly kind and welcoming. The food is delicious, from pasta to dessert and even the wine. The olive oil is, of course, amazing. They even took special care of my little daughter. The price is very fair for the quality. Beautiful panoramic view of the Maremma hills. I would definitely go back!

It's a bit far from the most beautiful cities, but very close to the sea, a 15-minute drive away. The staff, both at the property and in the restaurant, are very professional and friendly.

27/08/2025: I travel for work and honestly, I've never experienced a situation like this. During lunchtime, I tried to make a reservation over the phone for the evening. The restaurant replied, confirming availability but immediately denied it after I informed them I was alone. 30 seconds later. I asked if this is his way of operating and treating customers, but he remained firm in his opinion, completely ignoring the customer. Then, when I told them I was sure there wouldn't be another opportunity, the person responded with an "EXCELLENT." Oh, by the way. This was all on a Wednesday, as if it were a weekend. In all of Italy, I've NEVER experienced anything like this. Shocked. In 2025, a restaurateur who would rather screw the customer in order to have a couple, thus only having one more seat, I find truly shameful.

20/06/2025: For service for two they are few for the busiest times but they do a lot of work. The food is excellent and the atmosphere is magical, the souvenir photo with the polaroid: priceless. In the week spent in the area we made it a recurring stop. Well done

20/08/2025: I think this ice cream shop is the best in Orbetello, hands down! Interesting flavors beyond the classics, truly rare kindness, a lovely summer terrace, and reasonable prices... definitely recommended!

08/06/2025: What can I say, finding a restaurant like this in the heart of the industrial area of ​​Follonica was a real surprise, the very polite welcome from the staff and the warm and welcoming interior of the place with an open brazier, make you forget the outside right away. The fried tagliatelle with balsamic vinegar and the three types of bread made by them and offered were a welcome thing, the appetizer consisting of quality cold cuts and cheeses was truly excellent. The first course, the tagliatelle made by them (a little thick to tell the truth they were thicker than pappardelle) with cherry tomatoes and Chianti butter were something really good. The Chianti sushi on the spit instead was a real joy for the palate with the meat worked and cooked really well. All completed with water and house wine which was not bad at all. Dulcis in fundo all the meat processing done in sight in front of the brazier. Compliments. Highly recommended.

31/08/2025: Let me start by saying that we went to this restaurant on a Sunday. The food was good but not exceptional; the fried food was done properly. As for the service, we had to wait an unreasonable amount of time for the dishes we'd ordered; in fact, we skipped dessert for fear of having to wait another half hour after the previous hour and a half. The setting was lovely, right in the center of the charming village of Cinigiano (Tuscany). The staff was welcoming.

17/08/2025: The place is beautiful, and even the outdoor tables are really nice. The staff is very kind and welcoming. The menu is very unique and varied; it would be nice to try all the dishes. They also have a list of cocktails they make themselves, and they're delicious (we tried two). The food is very good and, as I mentioned before, very unique. The only downside is the quantity-to-price ratio: the dishes are very expensive, and reading the menu, it seems like they have a one-course meal rule (no appetizer, first course, or second course). In these cases, one-course meals should be enough to fill one person up. To our disappointment, however, an €18 plate of spaghetti was a modest-sized first course, which forced us to order other dishes, making the dinner very expensive. I still recommend this place for trying unconventional food and enjoying excellent cocktails.

14/09/2025: I'd like to point out that I'm not in the habit of reviewing bad experiences, but this time I felt it was my duty. I went to this inn attracted by the excellent reviews and the option of a vegetarian dinner. The vegetarian offerings were highly praised by the manager/waiter, who explained them in detail. When I actually ordered a "vegetarian main course," I was served a plate of side dishes that, in my opinion, were poorly chosen and hastily prepared (tasteless boiled courgettes; dry potatoes reheated several times; etc.). When the manager asked, "Is everything okay?" I didn't think it was right to ignore the situation and shared my observations on what I'd been served. His response was, "They kill wild boars here, we adapt as best we can." I appreciate the goodwill, and while I overlook the inappropriateness of this kind of response, I consider it excessive to ask 25 euros for a plate of side dishes arranged in that way. I wouldn't have written this review if the aforementioned manager hadn't insisted at the time of payment, continuing to maintain that the dish was of the highest quality, especially the ricotta (I assume not prepared in the restaurant's kitchens). When I stated that my meal was bad (again following an explicit request), his response was "I'll have you speak to the customers at table x who complimented me" and again "100 satisfied customers are enough for me!!" Naturally, mine is the comment of a vegetarian; the meat and fish dishes are worthy of numerous stars, the vegetarian ones get a negative rating (including the tagliolini ai funghi). So for what it's worth, customer 101 is not satisfied with either the food or the feedback. Tuscan cuisine offers a lot and options for vegetarians, which you won't find at this restaurant.

09/09/2025: I found this by chance online while looking for a place to celebrate my birthday, not far from Rome with my daughter! I discovered a corner of paradise in Tuscany! I stayed in the Country Suite with a hot tub and a balcony with a view, wonderful! Surrounded by nature, if you're looking for a place to relax, this is the ideal place, with a pool, spa, the opportunity to walk in the nature, and go horseback riding! The kindness of all the staff, from the reception to the girls in the breakfast room (excellent, wide selection of sweet and savory dishes, in short, for all palates)! The restaurant inside the structure, welcoming, finely furnished, creates a warm, embracing atmosphere. The dishes are of excellent quality, medium-high prices, everyone is kind and professional. The spa is beautiful, especially the hot tub overlooking the hills, something magical! I fell in love with this place! It's also a pet-friendly structure! Thanks to everyone for this wonderful stay! I highly recommend it!

08/09/2025: A fantastic day in Pitiagliano came to a wonderful end at LaRocca. We had two Carbonara alla tartufo and the poultry ragu with wild fennel. Sensationally good, followed by quail and the catch of the day (sea bream), which we shared between us. Service was perfect (always there when you need them, but otherwise invisible). Fair price, including a bottle of local red wine.
