The food was excellent! The owners are very friendly and offer more daily specials than what's listed on the menu.
We didn't have a reservation and were there with our child and dog, but we were seated immediately. Definitely worth a visit!

25/05/2026: A beautiful and very well-maintained property! The rooms are tastefully furnished, spotlessly clean, and cleaned daily! The breakfast leaves nothing to be desired, and the restaurant also impresses with the outstanding quality of its food! We lacked absolutely nothing, and I would wholeheartedly recommend Villa Preselle! The staff is also incredibly friendly and helpful! Everything was simply fantastic! Grazie Mille
24/05/2026: A place nestled among vineyards and olive groves, where time seems to stand still… with only the birdsong to break the silence.
The staff are very friendly and offer excellent advice on places to visit.

20/05/2026: Unmissable! Traditional Maremma cuisine prepared with passion. Generous dishes at a more than reasonable price. Very attentive and never intrusive service. The restored ancient cellar is worth a look! A word of advice: save room for the tiramisu!
10/05/2026: Family-run business serving typical Maremma specialties. Very friendly service. Mom and Grandma are in the kitchen, son and daughter in the front of house.
Beautiful vaulted cellar. Good value for money.

30/04/2026: My wife and I happened upon it by chance today for lunch... excellent quality cured meats,
real home-cooked first courses, delicious!!! The ricotta tart was truly delicious!! Everything was truly exceptional! Even the host was so kind, friendly, and cheerful! There are so few places like this these days! We'll be back again! Definitely!
25/04/2026: We never go to Scansano again without stopping at Vanni's. Excellent service, magnificent location, a must-see!

16/10/2025: We found this place by accident while driving back from Sicily to Poland. We only stayed one night. It's a wonderful place. A true Tuscan atmosphere. For a moment, we even considered staying another day, but after a three-week vacation, homework called. I highly recommend it. It's a beautiful place, a wonderful restaurant, and the staff are incredibly friendly. It definitely exceeded our expectations. ❤️ Thank you for such a short stay. We left this morning. Kisses to the kitties.
11/10/2025: Simply excellent! We had a huge room at a reasonable price, everyone was friendly, our dog was welcome, and the food in the attached restaurant was good. The breakfast was also decent by Italian standards.

26/05/2026: We are two Vespa riders from the Aosta Valley, and we arrived in Scansano hungry and tired at 2:30 in the afternoon. Despite the late hour, Il Grottone da Ivano welcomed us with open arms. We revitalized ourselves with a plate of tortelli maremmani (their traditional ravioli), which were nothing short of spectacular. The authentic atmosphere, authentic food, and Ivano's golden hospitality made this stop a real treat on our trip. A well-deserved 5 stars.

24/10/2025: Amazing stay. Super staff, lovely pool, and the best breakfast of the entire holiday (in Italy)! We spontaneously stayed an extra night!
The road leading there is unpaved, but that is the case in many places in Italy.
The location is wonderfully central and is more than suitable for simply not going anywhere and relaxing by the pool (not heated, so a bit chilly in mid-October, but after taking two deep breaths, no problem at all).
Beautiful, spacious rooms and lovely toiletries.
We will definitely be back here again!

Aby and Zenovia made our stay unforgettable — their warmth, kindness, and attention to detail were beyond amazing.
We came for our honeymoon and got upgraded to a stunning room with a dreamy Tuscan view.
Everything was spotless, stylish, and full of charm.
Truly one of the best stays we’ve ever had — can’t wait to come back! 🍷🌿✨

Intrigante le proposte della carne da cuocere nelL’imponente barbecue che domina la sala interna, noi abbiamo scelto una black angus ben marezzatta, peccato per la cottura.
Ottimi i pici e i tortelli ripieni
Interessante la carte dei vini, dove la Toscana recita la parte del leone

09/08/2023: Bellezza, semplicità, cura, ordine, pulizia, passione sono gli ingredienti che contraddistinguono il Poderuccio tenuti insieme dalla gentilezza e dalla cordialità dei proprietari Loriano e Enrica che ci hanno fatto sentire a casa! Immerso nella natura e vicinissimo a luoghi incantevoli, che meritano di essere visitati, questo posto ci è davvero entrato nel cuore!!! Ci siamo stati tre volte in tre mesi e speriamo di tornarci presto!!! Evelin e Andrea
