23/06/2025: If you come to Castiglione this restaurant is unmissable. Traditional Maremma food. We had dinner for two nights, the specialties to taste were too many. Exquisite food. The owner was very friendly and was able to recommend traditional dishes. Raw materials of excellent quality. Highly recommended also as a quality-price ratio. We will definitely be back.

02/07/2025: When asked "can you send me to a place where you locals go to eat?" I was given this name and I was more than happy to go there. Andrea the manager is the host you would expect, friendly, an excellent cook and available to chat. The food is genuine, plentiful and delicious, the atmosphere is familiar and small and the prices are definitely fair. The menu is simply written on the blackboard. It is a place that we have brought home in our hearts and to which we will definitely return as soon as we are in the area

25/05/2025: We went to dinner with a friend who had booked 2 weeks in advance because the place is small but nice and run by 2 friends! Excellent food, a mention for the first courses (very good) and good price! I highly recommend it to anyone who is in the area!

21/07/2025: A charming place, a terrace covered by the foliage of beautiful trees, an excellent selection of products ranging from food to pizza and burgers. Extremely courteous and professional staff. The appetizer was amazing, but the meat was disappointing. I tried a fillet with green peppercorns; I asked for it rare and it arrived medium/well-done. The meat was good quality, but the cut was too thick, a sort of cube that was a bit stringy. A longer, thinner slice would have ensured better cooking and easier adjustment. Desserts, in my opinion, were too sweet, especially the deconstructed millefeuille. Overall, a pleasant experience, but room for improvement.

05/07/2025: Ottimo pesce, ottima cucina. La pasta con salicornia e vongole è stata una gustosa e piacevole sorpresa. Non è un locale sul mare, ma spesso i ristoranti migliori (e le fregature minori) si trovano nelle retrovie. Ci tornerei volentieri. Siamo rimasti soddisfatti anche del rapporto qualità/prezzo.

02/07/2025: Siamo stati per una cena di famiglia e devo dire che tutto era ottimo, anche se non al centro e non sul mare tutto sembrava appena pescato.... Il polpo arrosto su crema di ceci veramente il massimo.

29/06/2025: We found this pizzeria on the recommendation of Google Maps and since I work as a Google Europe reviewer, we decided to visit and taste a very well-reviewed pizzeria. I will not evaluate the location of this establishment. They did what they could. The atmosphere they decided to harmonize the interior of the establishment with is more or less calm and does not seem distracting. The circus tone of the interior is more for the pleasure of children than an adult visitor. But it is a matter of opinion. The welcome and the seating itself were on the level. The pleasant and smiling staff tried more than expected. Ordered 2x beer and 2x pizza. Served within 20 minutes, which is great with high occupancy. Visually and taste-wise, I have to divide the pizza into two parts. Dough and ingredients. Dough - I assume some rush or something happened when making this dough, but this is not pizza dough. The edges were burnt, thin, empty. Overall, the dough was very floury and thin. The fact that the dough is 2mm thin means that the tomato base will turn the dough into mush. Ingredients - everything except the dough was great. Recommendation: make a thicker dough with a higher edge and shorten the baking time. As I wrote in the introduction, maybe it was just stress and rush that resulted in a bad dough. So for us, I rate this pizza as average. We'll see in the future. Reply to the response. If I can allow you a small suggestion with all due respect: l'informazione sulla possibilità di sceglieri lo shesore dell'impasto sarebe forse più visibile se fosse inserita directamente nelle pagine 6 e 7, accanto alle pizza, e non in una pagina successiva, dove spesso ci sono informazioni che il cliente non consulta con attenzione. Tornerò volentieri per provare la vostra versione "thicker". Vi auguro una buona giornata e tanti clienti sodisdatti.

27/04/2025: Il locale è carino ma il servizio non è organizzato bene e passa molto tempo tra una portata e l’altra. La pizza ad impasto integrale è risultata come non adeguatamente cotta, Delle due pizze ordinate una è arrivata al tavolo fredda. Altri tavoli vicini le pietanze sono arrivate in ritardo e una bistecca arrivata fredda.

06/07/2025: We ordered a 600g Ribeye steak. What arrived at our table was a steak weighing no more than 400g, burnt, and smelling smoky and cold. We complained, and the waiter contradicted us, claiming that was how it was cooked. In the end, we were charged 840g for a poorly cooked steak. Our opinion was completely disregarded. It was an experience not to be repeated.
