06/08/2026: I came on vacation to Tuscany with my boyfriend, and since we were staying in the province of Scarlino, we decided to book a restaurant for the evening. Searching online, we were immediately intrigued by the numerous, highly positive reviews and the typical Italian osteria atmosphere. We had such a great time the first night that we returned a few days later. On the first night, we chose the mixed cured meats and cheeses platter with cherry jam and the off-menu Maremma ravioli with ragù, which was out of this world. This evening, we wanted to try the other options: crostini with homemade tomato sauce, pâté, and pecorino cream, followed by wild boar cacciatore. Both nights, we had the cheese duo with apricot and red berry jam for dessert. In addition to the delicious home-cooked dishes prepared by Daniel's mother, the chef, we should also highlight Daniel's kindness, friendliness, professionalism, and experience. He also advised us on the must-try wines. A rare experience of authentic, no-frills Italian cuisine that will leave you speechless and eager to return, which we hope to do soon.

06/08/2026: A very lovingly run restaurant with a friendly and professional owner. The food was traditional and regional, and we enjoyed it very much. The regional wine selection, perfectly complementing the food, was also impressive. A big thank you to the very friendly owner who was able to answer all our questions, even in German. Children are welcome. Highly recommended! Thank you so much, we'll be back!

10/07/2026: Everything was delicious! The staff were friendly and always smiling, the food was delicious and the portions were generous. They are dog-friendly. We had two Margherita pizzas, a mixed fried fish with baked potatoes, three desserts, a glass of wine, and a bottle of water, plus two coffees for a total of €80.

03/05/2026: We went there on a recommendation and I have to say we weren't disappointed. From the outside, L'Olivo looks a bit unassuming. Inside, however, it's bright and beautifully decorated. The staff were all very friendly. But most importantly, the food was outstanding. We haven't had such good pizza in a long time. The prices here are also very reasonable. We'll definitely be back.

27/04/2026: Wonderful little cozy restaurant with the best seafood I got to try in Italy. The staffs were very friendly and helpful. I liked the dipping sauce for the calamari so much I asked them for the recipe, which they gave to me. The desserts were divine, and the view would've been stunning (we got there just as the sun was setting)

08/06/2026: I visited this resort for dinner and was impressed by the new garden area dedicated to conviviality. Where once there was simply a lawn, today there's an elegant and welcoming space designed by Paloma Barcella and Cosimo Sesti. This renovation enhances the setting without altering its character, with a refined yet simple style that naturally invites you to linger, meet, and enjoy the scenery. The attentive and helpful staff contributes to making the experience even more enjoyable: the bartender prepares excellent cocktails, and the service staff are professional, cheerful, and very welcoming. It's a combination of details that makes guests feel truly welcome and transforms a simple evening into a memorable one.

22/05/2026: A wonderful place to stay. The staff does everything possible to make your stay as good as possible. Nothing is too much trouble. A nice apartment with plenty of space and good beds. Also a nice swimming pool. The restaurant, breakfast, lunch, and aperitivo are superb. Highly recommended!

06/04/2026: I don't usually write negative reviews, but this time, since it's a repeat offense, I have to say a couple of things: first of all, waiting more than 45 minutes for a dish for the little girl is beyond belief, even considering that today is a holiday, but then again, it's holidays and/or holidays when you go to restaurants or agritourism. Secondly, the time between ordering and the arrival of the dishes is about 40-59 minutes, not to mention that everything arrives at once. The trio of meats arrived not well cooked, but more, the sausages were charred, and then not everything that was supposed to arrive. In fact, the staff said that if it had been less, they would have made a second course, but I say, if I'm entitled to so much meat per person, why do we have to ask for the 2nd round when it should have arrived on the 1st round? In the end, we gave up, paid, and I won't tell you what happened in the bill summary because they made a mess and we left. They're good but today they weren't organized at their best.

04/10/2025: We spent a week at this rural hotel. Spectacular is an understatement. The location is a marvel hidden in the Tuscan mountains. The tranquility, the calm, the attention of Alessia, Caterina, and Giorgio, the food, the breakfast... The pool makes you disconnect from the world. The room is even better than the photos, and always clean and tidy. The wine tasting led by Giorgio, with a tour of the winery. Everything was perfect. Thank you so much and keep it up!!!

29/09/2025: I stayed there with my family for two fantastic days in a typical Tuscan farmhouse immersed in a peaceful and spectacular natural setting. The location is enchanting, with breathtaking views from every corner. The room was spacious and clean. The restaurant is beautiful, and we ate very well. The staff is very professional and made us feel pampered. A place where nature is enchanting, ideal for those seeking tranquility and peace. We highly recommend it.

02/06/2026: What can I say? The first night we were there truly left us with wonderful memories, especially the delicious Chianina Florentine steak. Before heading home, we decided to have another Florentine dinner. Unfortunately, the meat was tough to the knife, especially when biting. We pointed this out to the waitress, who was even more upset than the owners, who literally ignored it when it came time to pay. Considering the price of that particular dish, perhaps we could have been a little more careful in selecting suppliers, and above all, more accommodating to the customer, who, I'm not sure, will be encouraged to return after experiences like this.
