18/03/2024: I had been missing from this hotel for some time but I must say that I found it to be extremely improved, actually once I asked for information I learned that new management had taken over. I highly recommend it for a number of reasons, first and foremost the quality/price which is undoubtedly the best in the area. What I liked most, in addition to the location surrounded by greenery but a few km from the sea, is how the rooms are kept, despite being a 3 star it offers 4 star services. Excellent cleanliness, spacious rooms, highly efficient heating, a well-stocked mini bar. Perfect swimming pool with a robot active even in the month of March (therefore in the low season) and it is a pleasure to look at it (our room on the 1st floor overlooked the swimming pool, very romantic! The care of the host was also pleasant, we arrived for breakfast late but they looked after us very well, my partner asked for scrambled eggs which were served instantly. Furthermore, we promised ourselves to try the restaurant which has a tempting menu! Last pleasant note is the fact that the owners (Ricci family) has a farm of the same name in Fonteblanda and in addition to wine they also produce very good oil which we did not miss out on. We will be back very soon.

24/03/2024: Comments after having lunch... oh my... after the appetizer with octopus, anchovies and mixed croutons... spaghetti with clams and bottarga... if there is grilled fish... sweet cheesecake with caramel salty.. oh my

02/04/2024: Easter Monday lunch, full restaurant. Fast service, they explained each course well and everything was impeccable. The location with veranda overlooking the sea is also beautiful.

Then for the second course only the catch.... fried foods etc.. Homemade desserts. Fair account for quality and portions... Very happy I've known it for years... Before it was a sloo food garrison... An excellence.

03/04/2024: We have been there several times and the place deserves to be visited both for the excellent pizza and for the really tasty super calzones. Quick and precise staff, we need to reserve a commendation for the truly skilled pizza chef.

18/03/2024: Il primo appunto va alla prima pagina del menù: scritto in caratteri cubitali, un lungo AVVERTIMENTO al cliente, che NON ha sempre ragione e che non essendo del mestiere non può giudicare e deve portare pazienza. Già da questo inizio siamo stati sorpresi. I tempi sono stati veramente lunghi, abbiamo aspettato circa 35/40 minuti per la prima portata. Nota positiva per la frittura di pesce era molto fresca e buona. Per quanto riguarda la pizza non è stato così. Ho preso una caprese, era molto scondita; l’impasto pesante e veramente poco digeribile, la mozzarella non era era stata messa a crudo ma all’inizio ed era diventata un formaggio fuso, il pomodoro messo alla fine ormai si era cotto sulla mozzarella . Dopo nemmeno due pezzi ero sazia. Ambiente poco curato e con prezzi nella media.

26/12/2023: Informal place, you eat very well for what you pay. Very friendly, suitable for everyone, both for a quick meal and for those who want to stay a little longer. Sometimes you have to wait a little because there is a queue and this already says a lot, because if it were a place where one felt bad there would be no waiting.

02/01/2024: Bathing establishment open only in summer, the beach when the establishment is not open is accessible via the next gate which is pedestrian. In the summer there is also camper parking which is a bit expensive because there is an hourly fee even at night. The beach is very beautiful, especially the free beach section after the paid umbrellas.

10/02/2024: We ate very well, really good tacos and burritos (excellent beers), the service was fast and above all the gentleman who welcomed us was very kind. Small but pleasant environment, we felt at home. We will definitely be back!!

02/01/2024: On a November evening in Talamone, to find an open place we had to go as far as Fonteblanda. It was, fortunately, a positive experience. Small and minimal place. Owner friendly, kind, witty. The quality of the pizzas and fries is good. Average prices. Advised.
