30/04/2026: Great food, great location, fantastic team – by far the best restaurant and pizzeria in the area, in my opinion. Reservations are definitely recommended, even in the off-season.

Stop to see the owners' love, as they effortlessly and effortlessly transition between their guests and the food. Excellent ingredients, generous portions, and a beautiful atmosphere. If you smoke, there's a lovely view of the castle for a break during or after your meal. Reasonable prices. Giulia, thank you for allowing us to enjoy a series of wonderful dinners.

The staff, starting with the owner, were extremely kind and available to accommodate even the smallest requests. Breakfast was very generous and in line with the hotel's class and our needs. Dinner, despite the limited menu selection, was high-quality and the dishes, prepared with passion, satisfy all palates. The lady in charge of serving guests was extremely kind and helpful, and made us feel right at home. We will definitely be back.

We didn't have one, but thanks to luck and the server's skill, we still managed to get a table for two on the terrace. ;) The fish is highly recommended; the ravioli nero were fantastic, and the spaghetti fruitti di mare was equally delicious. Highly recommended, we'll definitely be back!

24/05/2026: I went there for the first time, on the recommendation of an acquaintance, and I was right. In my opinion, it's one of the restaurants where I've ever eaten fresh, delicious fish. We've been back twice more. I think we'll be back every time we're in Castiglione della Pescaia. As for the noise, I can say that if all the diners, with or without children (these included), are well-behaved, the noise is negligible. As for parking, you might think you can find it by driving around, going to the parking lot where they have the market on Saturdays. However, those who frequent Castiglione know that finding a parking spot near the place we'd like to eat is purely down to luck, so it's not this restaurant's fault, you know. It's still worth the extra walk to eat.

08/06/2026: We are going here now for 3 years with our 2 kids when we stay in Riva and still love how they make pastas with fresh fish from the sea. The rose wine is also very cold & good! Friendly owner and also English speaking staff

20/05/2026: Crazy how bad this place is. Small portions with plain taste (e.g. Lasagna Toscana), medium temperatuere and boring presentation of food, huge waiting times. Can't recommend at all.

02/05/2026: While vacationing in Castiglione, we chose this restaurant for dinner since the hotel we were staying at didn't offer this option. The restaurant, expertly converted from an old granary (hence the name), is very characteristic. Quality food (both seafood and meat) and fast service are provided. During busy periods, you might notice a slight hesitation from the table service staff, but it's just a small flaw that doesn't detract from the overall quality of the restaurant. Good value for money considering it's located in the historic center of Castiglione della Pescaia. Recommended

29/11/2025: One of the few places left, I think, in Maremma where you can eat really well... in a world surrounded by organic, ethno-fusion, dynamic cuisines - Cantabrian Sea anchovies - cherry tomatoes - Slow Food Presidium... here you eat typical cuisine cooked with passion, authenticity and a great desire to do.

14/05/2026: A very welcoming place, with a pleasant and refined atmosphere. We particularly appreciated the service: courteous, punctual, and never intrusive. The menu, predominantly seafood, also offers some meat options. While not offering a vast selection, every dish we tried was completely satisfying: well-prepared, beautifully presented, and in just the right quantities.
