16/09/2025: Incredible family experience, surpassed only by the good service and facilities, the beds could be improved (the springs were already in need of replacement) But it is a minor detail compared to the good service, the incredible location and the great breakfast, 5 stars

09/09/2025: Fantastic location surrounded by greenery. Spotlessly clean and spacious rooms. Kind and punctual receptionist. Excellent breakfast and perfect location. I would just add a bottle of water upon arrival and eliminate mosquitoes from the garden by the pool. Otherwise, it's paradise.

20/09/2025: One of the best ice cream shops in Florence. Fresh and artisanal ice creams from La Sorbettiera that has now other venues spread all over Florence. I really appreciate the fact that they have few flavours that change over the different seasons with just very few flavours always proposed, such as hazelnut and pistachio. I got a medium tub with hazelnut, pistachio and catrame (dark chocolate). Tasty and authentic flavours not overwhelming in terms of sweetness. Staff really nice and kind. I highly recommend this place. It is always a pleasure to visit this and the other venues.

03/11/2025: Embarrassing! I've never seen such rudeness towards a customer. When it comes to booking, they have a way that makes it seem like you have to beg them. You call, they don't answer, you send messages, and after their 100 rules at the time of booking, they don't even see or respond. Put it down, not even Canavacciuolo does this kind of thing. Never again. Stay away. People like this don't deserve your money.

13/11/2025: Beautiful and elegant location! The food, although a little sparse, was excellent! Very efficient service! The only flaw I found was the service charge of €5 per person and €6 for water! I understand that the costs are huge, but €5 for cover charge seems excessive, like the price of water! I travel a lot for work, and I've never found these prices, not even in Michelin-starred restaurants!

09/11/2025: 🇮🇹🇪🇸 A Spanish tour guide recommended this place, and I went when it was time for dinner. I remember it was December 2023, and it was cold, but it was warm sitting on the little bench. I couldn't speak to the man because I don't speak Italian, but he seemed very friendly to the other people who did. The food was quite good and served quickly. It was a very pleasant moment that I will remember for many years. Far from home and traveling alone on an adventure, at Christmas in a beautiful city decorated with Christmas lights, eating hot food while watching people go by. (I haven't seen a more beautiful city than Florence.)

20/10/2025: Yesterday, October 19, we went to this quaint restaurant for lunch. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, the food excellent, and the staff very kind and professional. The homemade pasta is sublime, as are the desserts, even the homemade ones. I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to spend a day surrounded by chestnut trees and to anyone who wants to enjoy the authentic flavors of yesteryear, featuring all kinds of game. We'll definitely be back.

06/10/2025: A nice place and excellent service, but unfortunately, that's where the positives end. The appetizers were made with good ingredients but presented in a sparse and incomplete way, the first courses were absolutely bland, and the desserts were barely adequate. However, the "Spiedone" (skewer) was a positive choice, as it was truly delicious. For three appetizers, two first courses, a second course, two side dishes (good), three desserts, half a liter of house wine, and three coffees, we spent €147. Despite the general increase in restaurant prices, you can eat much better for less.

26/09/2025: Volpe is my absolute favorite when it comes to exceptional Italian food. Masterfully cooked by Valerio and his team. The menu is truly Michelin-star quality. Super fresh ingredients, some of which are home-grown. This restaurant is THE insider tip in Tuscany.
