Passing through Pontassieve, we stopped for lunch at this small but meticulously maintained restaurant. The food is truly excellent. The large platter is delicious, the first courses are delicious, and the meat is exceptional. Highly recommended.

My fiancée and I have been customers at this restaurant for several years. This year, we dined here again on December 31st. I must say it's always a pleasure to spend an evening here. The food is excellent, the owners are courteous, kind, and very knowledgeable, and the atmosphere is lovely and very intimate. So, congratulations to La Tana di Ugo!! Happy New Year!!

A guarantee! Each dish is rich in flavor, carefully prepared and presented. The cuisine is quite traditional, but with some original touches. The wine selection is excellent.

28/12/2025: Wonderful experience ❤️ unique comfortable environment... excellent service with incredibly kind staff not to mention the menu wonderful dishes very delicious and particular with excellent wine I would truly say the best
04/11/2025: Had an excellent meal with a group. The service was superb with the manager being incredibly hospitable and welcoming. She made sure we were looked after while we were waiting for a late arrival. The food itself with superb, the arancini special antipasto and rabbit secondi were exceptional. All of the group agreed that this was the best restaurant we'd eaten at during our many visits to Certaldo.

29/04/2026: Friendly staff and the food tastes much better than you would expect from a self-service restaurant. The interior is rather simple.
25/04/2026: Excellent value for money. An unpretentious place for lunch and dinner, but spacious and clean. Good food and generous portions. You serve yourself and put your tray away on special trolleys at the end of the meal. Free carafes of water are available. It's located on the first floor with stairs, so it's not suitable for wheelchair users. I ate well there and have been back. I recommend it 👍🏻
