06/11/2025: Six exhausted Via Francegina pilgrims found this place after a 30+ km day of walking, and what a blessing it was. The very high quality of the food was exceeded only by the warmth and humor of the service. We feel so lucky to have found such a special place to spend our last evening together.

05/11/2025: Lucca Comics season. Despite the large crowds in Lucca, we received a friendly and professional welcome at this restaurant. The manager warned us that the wait would be a little longer than usual, which was appreciated. The food was good and well-prepared. The customer service was always excellent. Recommended restaurant.

10/10/2025: Pizza are ok, service was awful - we had booked online and had to spend 20 minutes proving we had a booking because they dont seem to record online bookings. Then we could not get any attention for more than 10 seconds before the waiter wandered off again. Do not recommend

25/09/2025: My dad and I have been coming to this restaurant from Livorno for a few years now, and every time it's simply a unique experience! Besides the consistently exceptional culinary quality and meticulous table setting, what surpasses any other restaurant is the professionalism and kindness of the staff (especially Alessio, who always makes us feel at home). Highly recommended to anyone looking for an unforgettable dinner!

10/11/2025: Far too expensive for what it is. For example, €12 for a "fettunta" tartine with thin slices of tomato. The dishes are decent, standard fare, but not very generous. The chocolate fondant wasn't great. It's clear that the "customer" reviews on all the platforms aren't verified at all. Look elsewhere.

12/11/2025: A super positive experience, we dined here with our two-year-old son. Excellent food, a pleasant, child-friendly atmosphere, friendly staff, and excellent value. Highly recommended.

21/07/2025: The products here are great, high quality and worth trying, which earns this place an extra star. But the service was a letdown. We were just two people, and it felt like we weren’t worth the staff’s time. Before us, larger groups were getting enthusiastic recommendations, explanations, and genuinely warm service. When it was our turn, the atmosphere shifted completely. No suggestions, no effort, just a cold, dismissive interaction that made us feel unwelcome. If you’re not part of a big crowd or don't look snobby enough, don’t expect the same treatment.

06/11/2025: My birthday dinner... unexpected, surprising, revelatory... everything in its place, balanced, innovative without being pretentious, that innovation made with heart, skill, and professionalism! We chose the blind tasting and it was one surprise after another! What can I say, a perfect evening, a true culinary treat! Impeccable service, professional, but the kind of professionalism that gives you so much warmth, that conveys the maître d''''s love for what you're doing! What can I say... 28/09/2025: The place is very beautiful and well-kept. The service is attentive, professional, and the timing is more than right. As for the food, unfortunately, after an excellent start, the quality gradually declined. The entrees, with homemade breads, butter, and three truly interesting tastings, were very welcome. The three standard dishes had two main problems: - the small portions. We left hungry despite having three courses plus a dessert, in addition to the initial freebies. The main course had no side dish (a potato slice). The appetizer was half a Portobello mushroom, with the stem removed. Too small. We also noticed unintentional portion differences (especially for the first course and dessert) between different diners. - the courses (first and second courses) arrived cold. The dish was cold, the sauce poured over it was barely warm, which meant that after two bites the dish was objectively cold. Too bad. We had high expectations, but unfortunately, it was a decline. We'll try it again.

01/11/2025: The restaurant is meticulously maintained, the food is excellent, and the ingredients are top-notch. You can really taste the quality and passion that goes into preparing the dishes. The service is prompt and attentive. I'll definitely be back.

14/10/2025: I ate well, but I booked a table for the evening, we arrived but the lady had other people sit there, she gave us another table, then a couple of friends of the lady arrived and served them first and then us.

10/11/2025: Unfortunately, my experience at La Rocca restaurant wasn't the best. The dishes arrived cold, both the rib-eye steak and the entrees, and this somewhat ruined the entire dinner. The place has potential, but the attention to service and the temperature of the dishes could definitely be improved. I hope they can improve a bit, because this didn't live up to expectations.

19/10/2025: Everything was absolutely amazing! Our waiter Antonio took excellent care of us! We had incredible bistecca! Our driver Michele set us up here and we are so glad he did! Thank you!

12/11/2025: A delightful discovery in Monteroni. As a colleague, I have to say the menu is surprising in its combinations and variety, while maintaining a very reasonable price! I'll definitely be back, but don't miss out! Recommended!

22/10/2025: Authentic Italian in Tuscany, a 10-star pasta. We tried pasta with guancale and green asparagus, and also a pizza that was spectacular, with perfect dough and seasonings. We'll be back!

14/07/2025: Let me start by saying I don’t normally write reviews. There are places I reminisce on eating at and think this is a taste I have never had before. There is about 3 other in this category but boy oh boy does this make the list.

13/07/2025: Excellent schiacciata and fair prices. I just suggest heating them less, as the prosciutto and especially the burrata tend to spoil with too much heat.
