22/03/2025: Siamo capitati per caso in questo ristorante e non ci aspettavamo una così piacevole sorpresa. Abbiamo preso entrambi il menù degustazione e non avremmo potuto fare scelta migliore, portate leggermente più piccole che ci hanno permesso di assaggiare ed esplorare l’idea di cucina dello chef. È una cucina che presenta i gusti del nostro territorio in una chiave nuova, mostrando rispetto verso la tradizione, portandone la schiettezza dei sapori rustici e forti perfettamente equilibrati da elementi inaspettati, creando un eccellente gioco di consistenze e contrasti. Due dei piatti che ho apprezzato di più per queste caratteristiche sono i rocher di fegatini di pollo che mi ha spiazzato per l’esplosione di sapori e la nota finale del fico secco che coccola il palato alla fine del boccone e poi i tortelli fatti a mano alla figlinese dove il sugo di nana molto ricco e forte era in perfetto connubio con la delicatezza e la dolcezza del tortello ripieno con il sedano rapa. Abbiamo accompagnato il pasto con il loro vino che ho trovato molto adeguato al percorso fatto. Consigliato moltissimo, il prezzo è in linea con il servizio professionale di alto livello ricevuto e la qualità oggettiva dei piatti. Sicuramente ci torneremo per assaggiare il resto del menù.

16/03/2025: We were a table of 12 people. They didn't immediately clarify what the actual waiting times were... we ate after an hour and a half. One crush each. Cold fries! We discussed why in the meantime they were serving tables for two! In the end not even the kindness of offering us the chips arrived cold... a beer... a coke... terrible treatment! It wasn't pleasant

22/03/2025: Elegant environment, refined food, attentive and smiling staff. Pampering and tastings that are beautiful to see and taste. All very special. Homemade bread, focaccia and breadsticks. Some foods served on stone sculptures instead of plates. I took a Catalan, seasoned to my liking with their oil and lemon juice. They have a book for the wine list, I got some advice. For a particular or special lunch or dinner or just to pamper yourself and eat in an elegant but quiet place, where you feel good. To finish with a coffee and pastries.

19/03/2025: Traditional trattoria with friendly service and an old-fashioned atmosphere. The prices are fair. For two, we spent €71 eating two appetizers (artichokes with fossa cheese and mixed Tuscan appetizer), a first course (acquacotta), a second course (stuffed rabbit with potatoes), a dessert (cantucci and vinsanto), drinking a quarter of red wine and a bottle of water. Special mention for the homemade bread. The food was really good, except for the potatoes that I thought were too fried with an excessive taste of fried oil. We will return tomorrow because we appreciated it so much.

11/12/2024: Hello, my name is Niccolò but everyone knows me as a pupil. I have a small restaurant business in Fucecchio and today with my partner we came to visit this exquisite joker from Chianti.... I can only give 5 stars because no more can be given. ..because we had a great time...a very familiar atmosphere and high quality products...but in my humble opinion we are there in terms of quality for money...and then what can I say Gregorio, an excellent person...a little crazy but a great host together with his family... what can I say... Pupillo thanks and highly recommends this little corner of good food to everyone.

27/03/2025: boss let us try flavors before buying, was super friendly to us and was patient with our poor attempts at speaking italian 😅 the lady is so sweet 🥲❤️ they have exotic flavors here, passionfruit, figs, durian, that you can't get at other gelato places. 10/10 so grateful i found the spot :))

06/04/2025: We went for lunch and ate really well, quality Tuscan starters, tasty first and second courses, friendly staff and a very clean environment. Convenient parking where you can leave your car even after lunch while visiting Monteriggioni, a 10 minute walk along the Via Francigena.

29/03/2025: Our table was not easy (some intolerant to gluten, some to lactose, some vegetarian...) The service was excellent, the quality of the dishes surprised me positively and the bill was very honest. Really good.

20/03/2025: From the reviews I read, I was a little disappointed... informal atmosphere, good service. Unfortunately the first course wasn't hot, maybe I should have mentioned it. Not the best value for money, too expensive in relation to the amount consumed, but maybe that's just my opinion.

19/03/2025: Personale squisito, accoglienza ottima, l'attenzione per il cliente è sempre presente, una menzione speciale va al burro fatto da loro che viene servito insieme al pane e schiacciata nell'attesa. Menù con un numero contenuto di portate tutte particolari, la scelta è difficile perché tutto sembra interessante. Piatti fantastici, un'espolosione di sapori e cura nell'abbinamento davvero fuori dal comune, abbiamo diviso i piatti scelti così da provarli, tutto davvero ottimo! (hanno anche un opzione degustazione con più portate da dividere) Torneremo sicuramente

23/03/2025: It is one of our favorite places to eat steak. Another fantastic thing is the meat tartare that they prepare before your eyes and add the ingredients you want. A place that stays cool in the summer. Easy to reach or a little higher up than the town of Montecatini Terme. If you want to eat good meat, this is the right place.

For lovers of beers and wine the selection is wide and well curated. The location is welcoming and well looked after. The staff is its added value, ready to advise on both dishes and drinks according to personal tastes.

10/02/2025: Truly excellent cuisine with a mix of simplicity and refinement. The products are typical local or Tuscan products, well explained as they are brought. Friendly and helpful staff, but never intrusive, nice and friendly environment in the center of the town. Prices even lower than what was proposed in both quality and quantity.
