04/06/2026: We had lunch at this restaurant with my husband and our dog on the Sunday of the Palio delle Botti. It was recommended to us by a person from Suvereto who works at the Agave where we were staying. Luckily, we called and reserved the last table. The place isn't big, so it fills up quickly. Many people were left out. Tortelli with mushroom sauce, wild boar, sautéed spinach, orange dessert, and so on. Excellent service, very kind and polite staff. We had a great time, we'll be back soon. Well done, keep up the good work!

01/02/2026: A truly spectacular restaurant in the heart of the historic center. Attention to detail and expertly prepared dishes. The crostoni with chicken livers and the first courses were excellent. Tagliatelle with wild boar ragù was delicious. The beef fillet was spectacular and cooked to perfection. Caterina in the dining room is the jewel in the crown. Friendly, very knowledgeable, fast, and truly charming. Kudos also to Daniele, who runs the restaurant with professionalism. 15/05/2026: This was a great find. The pizza was delicious and the steak and potatoes were good. I regret I didn't order pasta, it looked so good on the table next to us. Delightful people greet you with a smile and the service is attentive. I recommend good place. It's a very cute restaurant.

24/05/2026: After the tour of the Giotto's Bell Tower and surrounding city center area, our tour director said any of our group could follow her to her favorite restaurant during the "free time" in Florence. We did, and glad we did. The restaurant is right by the market area and their pizza's were fantastic. The waitresses were very attendant and took care to make sure we were satisfied. I had my 24th Cappuccino of this 31 day trans-Atlantic cruise and still 6 more to go! Thanks to them if they read this review!

The wine list is good. Courteous, professional service is provided. Average prices.

12/05/2026: Great experience! We'd been there years ago and had good food then too. We returned on our way back from the Lagastrello Pass; we hadn't booked, but we were still greeted warmly. The restaurant was renovated, and the staff was friendly. The sliced ​​steak with mushrooms was exceptional! There was no complaints about the quality/price ratio! It was a pleasant experience! 17/05/2026: I'm very pleased to leave this review. First of all, I'd like to point out that this restaurant WELCOMES DOGS. We arrived and the weather was terrible; unfortunately, both we and our dogs were soaked. The owners and the waiter immediately went out of their way to help, asking if we needed anything to dry them off, then brought a VERY CLEAN bowl and poured them water. All this was topped off with cuddles and compliments. The exquisiteness, elegance, and ability to approach the customer make the waiter extremely polite, attentive, but never intrusive. He explained the menu items in detail, advising us on the best options. The dishes are certainly not ordinary or popular; you can immediately see the knowledge and experience of a truly meticulous chef, attentive to color details. It's also interesting and intriguing when the presentation of a dish is visually striking and creative. Top marks for the food plating!!! Innovative combinations of ingredients of unquestionable quality. Highly sought-after raw materials. Prepare for culinary ecstasy, immersing yourself in the wonderful panoramic view before you. All accompanied by good music and a charming atmosphere. The wines are also excellent, fine. We tried a still white Capraia that perfectly enhanced our dishes. Even with desserts, the chef truly outdid himself. A restaurant that is anything but ordinary, for those who want to taste the best of the best. A restaurant that makes a difference. And exclusivity has a price, otherwise you'd go to an everyday trattoria. Right??!!

09/05/2026: This was the first place my husband and I ate in Florence, and it turned out to be such an amazing find! The schiacciata was so good that we came back later that same evening after our cooking class for another one. I ordered the Schiacciafocco both times because I loved it so much. My husband ordered the Caprese. The staff were wonderful, including the friendly owner, who was still working hard and greeting customers warmly after a long day. Highly recommend if you’re visiting Florence and want a delicious, authentic meal!
