08/01/2025: What a gem! Don't be disenchanted by the short dirt road leading upward to this beautiful little boutique hotel, because at the top of the knoll sits the charm and luxury you hoped for in Tuscany. We stayed in the deluxe king room with a view. We were so enchanted we stayed one extra night and even then, hated to leave. I underscore every compliment expressed by others, regarding the staff. They're fabulous and work diligently to make your stay comfortable and memorable, and they make all that look effortless. Kudos to Niccolo who shared fun conversation with us while still managing the operations. We felt like family. We did indulge in the 2 hour wellness experience and WOW! Do that! We also took a cooking lesson from the chef which was private, informative and simply delightful. This is located in the perfect place - away from the crowds but close enough to everything. Drive less than an hour in almost any direction through the gorgeous Tuscan countryside and your pick of wineries and history are at your fingertips. What adjective best describes this place? Fantastic? Awesome? Luxurious? Charming? yes - yes-yes!

06/01/2025: Found on Booking, but booked directly through them at a great price for 2 nights, it is a Relais with all the comforts you need on a holiday, very quiet and suggestive location, we were at the beginning of January, welcoming and familiar environment, very large room, with welcome prosecco, incredibly kind and always available staff, a special mention for Cristina and Nicola, excellent breakfast, with a good variety of sweet and savory products, their restaurant is worth trying, few tables, but excellent cuisine, it is located 15 minutes from the center of Siena, we will definitely be back.

The white tablecloth, simple lines of tables and chairs and exquisite lamps, It injects modernity and high-end texture into the space. Retro and modern blend together, creating warmth without losing style. The menu offers two set meal options, one meat and one vegetarian. To meet the needs of different tastes, you can also order a la carte. Scatter portions are relatively larger. For a foodie like me who wants to try everything, Of course I chose the set meal without hesitation. Unlocking multiple delicacies at once is so enjoyable! Every dish is surprising, the taste is online, Both the combination of ingredients and the presentation are done with great care.

Self service ordering and table service. The menu changes from day to day, but there are fixed dishes at the counter (tomato soup, various salads) Low prices for a restaurant but high for a takeaway. Smiling and helpful staff.

17/03/2025: It's a perfect place to eat out and feel at home. The Covo dei briganti is located exactly in the center of Manciano, which couldn't be more central. Welcoming, well-kept, genuine, sincere cuisine, made of traditional Maremma dishes, served in generous portions. You sit down and the staff welcomes you like a host does when he has friends over for lunch. The secret is to let them do it. There are two "musts" in their offering: extraordinary hand-made fresh pasta and meticulous, careful research into ingredients. Ingredients that narrate the goodness of the Maremma offer. The cured meats are delicious, offered through a refined, non-trivial offering of typical products that hide a touch of originality. Truffle salami, to name one, is an extraordinary delicacy. The wine selection is also excellent but the secret is the owner. Tommaso, whom we met upon our arrival, accompanied us on a tasting story that transformed Sunday lunch into a real experience. it is written as "den of bandits", it is read as a place to feel good.

12/03/2025: Both the cafe latte and cannoli were delicious! It was a very nice shop where the older brother of the clerk was singing along with the background music and was working and it made me feel cheerful! The drink menu has so many varieties that you'll be spoiled for choice!
