29/08/2025: Very dull bland pasta dishes. We were very disappointed. Could not finish my linguine as was just so dull and tasteless. Meat courses may be better - we did not order those so cannot comment. Room is nice. Service is not very helpful.

04/10/2025: We happened upon this place just walking around. It’s not in the main city. We made reservations for the following evening. We ordered the caprese salad, Tuscan soup and filet. We also ordered a bottle of a local Cabernet. Simply outstanding. It was so good, we made a reservation for the next night. We tried 2 restaurants inside the city. I believe most of the restaurants inside the city walls cater to the tourists. This proved to be disappointing. This restaurant is clearly worth the visit.

28/09/2025: All in all, their pizza is worth trying... we had a few service hiccups with long waits, but the owner immediately apologized and offered a discount on our next dinner! It seemed like a great compromise for the inconvenience, considering that unexpected things can happen!

28/09/2025: The Neapolitan pizza was very good and easy to digest. They were willing to make some adjustments to my wife's pizza, as she has an intolerance. The frittatina was also good, although I think it needed just a minute more cooking since it was a bit cold in the center, but this didn't affect the quality of the product. The service was very friendly and fast despite the restaurant being busy. The wine selection was also good (with a recommended pairing directly on the menu) and beer selection. The space was a bit cramped and noisy, but that's normal for a pizzeria, so it's fine. I recommend it to anyone in the Cortona/Camucia area who wants a good pizza at a reasonable price.

15/09/2025: Authentic and quaint I don't understand how you can park along the ring road if the few adjacent spaces are full. Otherwise, the food is excellent: a few dishes but well-executed, affordable, and with a quaint atmosphere.

12/09/2025: I don't think I'm lying when I say that 96% of the places I've visited (and there are a lot of them!), after seeing "truck drivers in the restaurant," turned out to be a complete rip-off, considering the cleanliness, quality, quantity, service, and bill. When I said goodbye to Armandino, my first impression of the surrounding area and the exterior of the place made me briefly consider turning around and leaving, but my sixth sense made me resist the impression that turned out to be completely wrong. I received very friendly and attentive treatment. Filippo and "Armandino" himself went out of their way to find a place for me and a friend of mine, even though we hadn't booked and they were packed. The food is not only plentiful, but excellently prepared. The two of us had 6 different courses, all extremely good. The bill was very, very fair. I highly recommend booking...always! I've put the place among my "favorites" and I'm 100% satisfied. I'll be back!!

14/09/2025: We stopped to explore Pienza and had lunch here. Everything was excellent - the owner was such a warm, friendly host and was very helpful with recommendations. The food was superb! Make sure you have cash for a tip - it was so deserved and unfortunately you cannot tip when paying by card!

09/10/2025: First time here, I had homemade pici with fresh porcini mushrooms and fillet steak with porcini mushrooms. Everything was delicious, I'll definitely be back.

30/09/2025: A pleasant surprise to find a Sicilian pastry shop whose owners are originally from the province of Catania. You must try the arancini, the cannoli, the granitas with brioche, dry almond pastries... what can I say? You just have to go there if you are in the city.

05/09/2025: It's been years since I've had such an excellent lampredotto sandwich or peposo. Lately, the "lampredottai" (lampredotto joints) I used to go to have lost some of their quality. Here, I found courteous, fast, and even friendly service, but above all, excellent quality ingredients. The sandwich bread is perfect and doesn't fall apart like it often does. It's also incredibly comfortable, with seating both inside and out. Well done, keep it up! I'll definitely be back again!!!

21/07/2025: Lampredotto is an institution in Florence, and every Florentine has their favorite lampredotto maker: Lapo is mine. When I met him, he amazed me by serving me cold Lambruschino with lampredotto, which I later discovered is fantastic in the summer because it "cuts the fat." But lampredotto isn't fatty; it's the leanest meat of the entire animal, and it was the only food I could eat after an operation that kept me on a strict diet for several months. In short: Lapo weaned me on lampredotto! And lampredotto is just the most famous of Lapo's dishes, which he uses all the "poor" cuts, from sinew to breast, to tripe, which he also reworks "on the plate" like inzimino, cacciatora, artichokes, and everything delicious you can imagine with the "fifth quarter." Can you say that? Lapo is a high-end tripe maker who doesn't show off and delivers high quality. I don't want to make comparisons, since every Florentine has their favorite tripe shop...

03/09/2025: We had a wonderful time at the Dirty Rat. The service was exceptional; everyone was helpful, and we had a wonderful connection with everyone. The interior was very impressive, with beautiful designer lamps and lovely paintings. I spent a lot of time looking around. The dishes and desserts were consistently delicious, created and presented with surprising and distinctive flavors. The wine was the perfect finishing touch. I look back on our evening with a smile on my face. Thank you so much!

02/09/2025: Lovely joint with both Tuscan and a few American/Mexican style dishes. The zucchini flowers were lovely and the pici as well. The staff spoke good English, compared to other establishments in the area.

29/09/2025: We found this restaurant by chance while looking for a parking spot, and I have to say it was a lovely discovery. They served us a cacciucco that I'd call extraordinary, both in quality and quantity, accompanied by a red wine recommended by a friendly, perhaps slightly over-tattooed, waiter. Prices were reasonable, considering the excellent service and high-quality food. I recommend it.

22/09/2025: Welcoming place, friendly waiter, albeit a little confused. Good food, fair prices. The only shame was that the Meringue cake was brought to us frozen. Otherwise, I was happy.

18/09/2025: Amazing service, amazing drinks, amazing value, the €9 drink and fried seafood deal genuinely made our day we weren’t expecting much from such a good deal especially given the prices we’d experienced in Florence and we were wowed

18/09/2025: this place came up right at the perfect time, we just been to boboli gardens, walking up slopes in the blistering sun, gagging for water and we see a sign “fried squid and cocktails 9€” instantly went in and amazed beyond belief.
