06/08/2024: A place so nice!! We visited twice. I honestly was taken by surprise with Roberto. The food here was very well prepared and as close to home-cooked as it got. It did take us a little bit of time to get our food but we were okay with that because it is a family-run restaurant. Service was amazing. They checked in on us regularly and we're very friendly. The atmosphere here is so old school. You can't help but feel at home when you sit down. I highly recommend the chingali stew as it was very tasty, as well as the sausage and beans.

06/08/2024: Cozy family-run traditional trattoria near Uffizi. Tagliatelle ai cinghiale (freshly made pasta with wide boar sauce) is really good. Alessandro, the son of Founder Roberto, is so kind and gave me a beautiful bookmark of Botticelli as souvenir. Having learned Italian in Florence long time ago, this is my 8th time visit to Florence. I highly recommend to come to Trattoria Roberto.

05/07/2024: It's worth visiting this inconspicuous place, great antipasti, great pizza and burgers, friendly service, and most importantly, it's open from 5 p.m. which is very rare. Bravo, go and eat from there everyone.

26/08/2024: Abbiamo prenotato consigliati da amici, che ce lo hanno segnalato come il miglior ristorante di pesce di Arezzo. Devo dire che avevano ragione. Veramente una bella esperienza: fin dal momento della prenotazione telefonica si percepisce un’attenzione smisurata per il cliente. Locale ben tenuto in tutti i suoi particolari (molto elegante l’apparecchiatura). La cosa che comunque fa la differenza è il cibo: scelta delle materie prime, abbinamenti (con frutta) e presentazione. Tutto veramente buono.

17/08/2024: MERITA! Scovata per caso è stata una piacevolissima scoperta. Siamo stati accolti con cortesia e calore, abbiamo degustato un ottimo tagliere per due arricchito da sottaceti fatti in casa ed acciughe al pesto, un primo la cui pasta era di una leggerezza unica (non è facile tirare la sfoglia così bene) ed un secondo di cinghiale che si scioglieva in bocca...finito con uno splendido tiramisù. Eravamo i primi clienti e Silvia ci ha trattato da re: di certo quando il locale è pieno bisogna mettere in conto un poco di disattenzione ma, a mio parere, quando si mangia fuori la qualità del cibo dovrebbe essere la prima discriminante e si dovrebbe usare una certa "ampiezza di vedute e tolleranza" se, in una situazione di folla, in un ristorante a conduzione familiare - che è poi il tratto che, in genere e comunque in questo caso determina la bontà del cibo - si possa incappare in qualche ritardo o incomprensione. Pulizia ottima (anche dei bagni i), prezzo giusto per la qualità e quantità. Attenzione ai giorni di chiusura: martedì e mercoledì di norma.

16/08/2024: Sono stato in questa hostaria ieri sera con mia moglie e mio figlio. Accolti benissimo ci hanno fatto accomodare subito ad un tavolo all'aperto, abbiamo cenato sotto le stelle. Prendiamo un antipasto del contadino, salumi formaggi, verdurine sott'olio, e alici marinate., tutto buono.e abbondante Mia moglie prende i pici cacio e pepe mentre mio figlio pici alla carbonara, ottimi. Io ho scelto una tagliata aglio e rosmarino con contorno di cicoria saltata in padella piccantina, tutto buono. Ah dimenticavo abbiamo assaggiato la pappa al pomodoro era squisita. Abbiamo concluso con una mousse al cioccolato un nocino e un caffè. Ottimo anche il conto. Se vi capita di passare da queste parti fermatevi.

27/07/2024: Apart from the hotel itself, the food of the restaurant is unexpectedly well cooked with various selection of local Toscana ingredients!! Very delicious and definitely recommended.

21/07/2024: What about this place… We've been going there for a few years now and it's simply our favorite place. The most beautiful place where we would have liked to get married and the one that absolutely made our wedding so perfect! Verreno is a magical place, immersed in the hills and greenery of Tuscany, but what is absolutely captivating is the cuisine of Chef Marialuisa Lovari whose dishes are true works of art! When we had to choose the location of our wedding (and ceremony), we had no doubts about what to choose. Marialuisa advised us and followed us step by step, she satisfied all our requests and we felt truly welcomed and pampered by all the wonderful staff! An aperitif that left us speechless with the quantity and variety of dishes, and dinner with impeccable and attentive service! The cake was also a wonderful surprise, wonderful and delicious! Furthermore, we and some of the guests also stayed at the Verreno, and the suites were also amazing, spacious, bright and complete with every comfort! Thank you for making us experience a day we will never forget! ❤️

07/08/2024: Nothing bad to say about this restaurant. The food was delicious, the service excellent and the atmosphere enchanting in the little square next to the statue of Puccini. It was dreamy. I would definitely recommend this restaurant if you are in Lucca (BTW this is a city worth your time : gorgeous). Homey feeling and the food was amazing. Buon appetito. !

17/08/2024: Unfortunately we couldn't arrive in time for the spectacular sunset view (a must try), but we immediately consoled ourselves with an excellent appetizer (vegan option available) and one of the (three) best pizzas I've ever eaten in Tuscany. Fragrant on the outside and soft on the inside, perfect edge, handmade tomato puree - state of the art.. And mine was heart-shaped, bonus! Vegan option also among desserts. Always attentive and pleasant service. Successful evening.

13/08/2024: Mara has a bit of a punch, but after the exceptional pizzas and the view, it's the highlight of the place 😁
