Everything would have been perfect if, once we got up from the chairs, the blue paint hadn't stained us, and the owner, sorry, didn't even offer a €1 discount, the minimum, after such negligence... Photos of the clothes were taken and posted on TripAdvisor, so everything is verifiable... My partner and I know how they treat the public because we've only been working there for 25 years...

04/05/2026: Stumbled into this family restaurant entirely by accident. I was looking for squid ink pasta and GMaps directed me here and was disappointed that they don't have it (anymore?). Since it's quite a walk from the main road, we decided to stay and just eat there. First off, they're a small family owned restaurant. We arrived at 12, when the restaurant opens, and the owners were eating. They were done shortly after but this is what I was hoping for: small family owned restaurant with home cooking away from tourist traps. We ordered the tripe (trippa), chicken (pollo alla contadina), and the tagliatelle pesto with pistacchio and pomodorini. Every dish was fantastic. Do yourself a favor and walk the extra 5-10 minutes to and fro from the main square and try this restaurant out. You won't be disappointed and the family there that runs it are so sweet.

03/06/2026: We dined at this restaurant, which recently took on new management, and we had a great time. Excellent, high-quality ingredients, and a pleasant seaside setting. What struck us most was the friendliness and cordiality of the owner, who welcomed us with great kindness. We had the lobster pasta and the spaghetti with clams: both were very good, well-cooked, and in generous portions. To finish, a delicious cup of their homemade tiramisu, plentiful and truly delicious. A pleasant discovery in Porto Azzurro. Recommended!

02/06/2026: There were a few flaws in the service, but the owner's apologies were greatly appreciated. The food was generally very good, with fresh, well-cooked fish. It's a shame about the fried squid, which needs a rethink because it was a bit bland and greasy, and the red mullet wasn't cooked evenly. Otherwise, we had a good experience considering the quality/price ratio.
