The first time I went to this restaurant, everything was excellent, so much so that I returned a few months later with my boyfriend to show him how it was. It seemed like a completely different place in terms of service and food. The menu had completely changed, and the new dishes we tried were rather bland and not particularly excellent. We waited over half an hour just to order, so much so that we were about to leave. After ordering, we waited another 25 minutes for our dishes to arrive. The staff was friendly, but lacked customer service and offered no apologies for the long delay. When I asked if the menu had changed completely or if I was misremembering, they pointed out that I could have read the menu online first, which I didn't find particularly polite, because if I return to a place because I liked the food, I don't expect it to change completely so quickly and be taken for granted.

A very nice restaurant in the center of Pisa, where the excellent food, courtesy, and impeccable service of the staff make Osteria Tumi a great place to eat. South American cuisine prepared with love and expertise. Excellent wine bar. Prices are slightly higher, but well worth it given the quality! Wheelchair accessible. In summer, you can eat outside. Highly recommended!

Everything is next level – the location on a quiet side street, the friendly service, the cheerful, singing chefs who create the most refined, fresh dishes in the kitchen, even the decor is particularly charming and cozy. Prices are on the higher side, but considering the quality, it's absolutely fantastic value for money.

Congratulations to the chef! The place is peaceful, the food is delicious, delicate, and beautifully presented. The service was excellent. Definitely a great place to eat, and we appreciated that it was off the beaten path but well located.

09/05/2026: We found this place somewhat by chance, and we immediately fell in love with it. We spent a family evening dining on Chianina burgers/pulled pork sandwiches for the little ones, and sliced ​​pork with potatoes for the adults. The flavor of the meat was truly excellent, and we also appreciated the fact that they brought us some cold cuts as a sampler while we waited for our meat. Furthermore, the butcher's presentation of the meats we chose was truly appreciated, especially as it showed customers the quality of the product being processed. We finished it all with citrus sorbet for the kids and a delicious tiramisu made on the spot for the adults, both truly delicious. Everything was excellent, from the quality of the products to the service, which promptly came to check on us and that everything was going smoothly. Our average bill was around €30, a more than fair price for such a delicious meal. See you soon!

25/06/2026: A great place we visited during our stay in Volterra, where we sampled Tuscan specialties. The dish we ordered, "Il pesce povero," was an interesting combination of fish appetizers and paired well with the Vernaccia di San Gimignano I Mocali Riserva 2022 DOCG white wine. The lampredotto in zimino con bietole in salsa di pomodoro, braised beef stomach served with chard in an aromatic tomato sauce, also made a big impression. Everything was fresh, well-prepared, and allowed us to experience the authentic flavors of Tuscany. The atmosphere was pleasant, and the service was very friendly. I highly recommend it.
