13/09/2025: Highly recommend pici con tartufo and tiramisu. One of the best we tried in Italy. Definitely worth coming for lunch or dinner.

11/09/2025: Finding a restaurant in August is hard. Alot of favorites were closed for the holidays. And Alot of first choices were closed even of google say it’s open. A big problem because most restaurants in Italy doesn’t have there own website. This place was our 3rd choice. I was not so enthused because to me it’s seems a modern Italian restaurant. Modern in Italy is the same as fusion. To my surprise…the plating and presentation is modern, but the taste is very traditional. Love the Octopus, steak and Risotto. And they had delicious bread too. Service was excellent and the owner took a picture with our whole family. In the end to our surprise it was our best dinner of our trip.

16/08/2025: What can I say? We're now regulars, and despite the many visits, they still manage to surprise us. The pairings are always spot-on, the dishes are balanced, and the atmosphere is relaxing and convivial. In short, our favorite place.

08/10/2025: I had lunch here at Oste di Lucca, served by Vincenzo. I enjoyed the tortelli with beef ragù, which were amazing, and they brought me some spectacular focaccia bread. I received a choreography on a plate, which is not easy to find even in Michelin-starred restaurants.

In particular, the tortellini pasta wasn't fresh, but the taste was respectable. Nevertheless, the overall flavor is quite decent. Prices are great, compared to the rest of Italy. Good option for tourists who want a gentle introduction to Italian cuisine.

The staff genuinely care about your experience and it shows. The pizza? Absolutely delicious – perfectly crispy crust, fresh toppings, and loaded with flavor. But don’t sleep on the burgers! They’re seriously impressive – juicy, flavorful, and made fresh to order. You can really taste the quality in every bite. Whether you're craving pizza or a great burger, this spot delivers every time. Highly recommend for a casual night out or a quick bite with friends. Can't wait to come back!

09/09/2025: Starting with the girl who served me, who I believe is the owner, she was very kind and friendly, and spoke to me in Portuguese, so much so that I complimented her on speaking my language so well! The pizza was delicious, with quality ingredients, and it came out quickly!

03/10/2025: Because it was already quite cold in early October, we sat inside. The interior was very nice and modern. Delicious food and wonderful service.

30/09/2025: A cool late summer evening. We dined outside under the olive trees. The setting was charming. Dishes were carefully prepared and cooked with extreme care. Quality ingredients, with some items always cooked over a wood fire. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. The price was slightly above average, but considering everything, it was worth it.

15/09/2025: If you're looking for simplicity, good value, and above all, kindness, then this is the place for you. I found it by chance for a short cycling holiday and was pleasantly surprised. The hotel is nestled in a charming inland village, away from the hustle and bustle of the coast. The rooms are simply furnished and very clean (if mine had a balcony, it would have been better). Downstairs is the L'Ottavo restaurant, where even on busy days they always found me a table and where I always ate very well! Lastly, the helpfulness and courtesy of Giada and all the staff.

04/09/2025: Nice and clean place, excellent, I highly recommend it. Sandwiches and wraps made with top-quality local ingredients, everything made in-house, including the fries, which are nothing like the frozen ones at the big fast food restaurants. I really appreciate the decision to sell the molecule and recommend purchasing an Italian product whose taste is identical to the original and whose brand doesn't support genocide. The staff is also extremely kind and helpful.

01/09/2025: We were on vacation in Volterra and found this place after reading the reviews. The business is run by two very friendly and helpful people. You can tell they care about the quality of their products. The bread is homemade, as are the Chianti piadinas (very good and unique). The sauces are also artisanal. A special mention goes to the chips, which are cut and fried freshly, without frozen products—a reminder of home-cooked meals from the past. I highly recommend them for a quality sandwich, which even my teenage daughters loved. The Molecola Italian soft drink, identical to the famous American soda, is also good.

11/10/2025: We had an incredible dinner at La Falterona! The Florentine steak was absolutely amazing. It was hands down the best steak my husband and I have ever had. Prior to cooking the steak, they bring it out to the table for you to look at and then once it is cooked, they cut it in front of you at your table. The service was friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere was cozy and welcoming. We left completely satisfied and can’t wait to come back next time we are in Florence. Highly recommend!

10/10/2025: I came here to get takeout since it's close to my accommodation, and they said if you order the Truffle Special, you get a free classic pizza to takeout! So I ordered the tomato-based truffle pizza, and it was so delicious! I want to come back again next time🥹

12/10/2025: I booked through The Fork app because it seemed like a popular spot, probably because guides recommended it. The reviews were good, but I didn't get the 20% discount. I wonder if there's something wrong with the app. (If you book through the app, be sure to check your email. I later received an email saying the discount wasn't applied. Don't overpay for that.) When I checked out, the discount wasn't applied. A T-bone steak, truffle pasta, and a glass of house wine came out to 168 euros, almost 300,000 won. Is that right? The food wasn't that good, and the sirloin was tough, so I mostly ate the tenderloin. Perhaps because I'd had fresh pasta in Venice, the truffle pasta was average. I got sick of the T-bone steak. I made a reservation for 7:45 and got in right away, but it took over 20 minutes just to order, and another 20 minutes for the food to come out. I didn't eat until almost 8:30. I ordered a 1.3 kilo T-bone, but they brought out 1.5 kilos and showed it to me, telling me to eat that. I ended up leaving it all. I ordered a glass of wine midway through, and they only brought it to me when I was almost finished. This was my first meal in Venice and the Dolomites, and it was terrible. I never want to go back. Is Florence really like this? It took forever to order one thing, and 300,000 won for two dishes is just so worthless. I don't want to go there again.

10/10/2025: We ate here on our first night in Florence and enjoyed it so much we went back on our last. Everything we ate was delicious. Welcoming staff, lovely atmosphere. Very reasonable prices. Would highly recommend. We loved the cheese/ artichoke fondue (?) the chicken liver pate, the wild boar pasta, the porcini pasta and the risotto with brie and prawns.

15/10/2025: Very good food and plenty of it, just a stone's throw from the cathedral, in a street that allows you to have a quiet lunch even though it's right in the center.
