27/05/2025: Courteous and helpful staff. Quiet little place. Varied menu, with many first courses available, from meat to fish to pizzeria. I attach some photos of the dinner served in this restaurant. The pizza is cooked in a wood oven, and in winter there is the possibility of dining next to the lit fireplace, which makes this restaurant my absolute favourite. The pizza topped with onion, dried tomatoes and chips, tortelli with gratin cheeses baked, pappardelle with porcini mushrooms, seafood salad and frying. I forgot to photograph the pizza, thin and well seasoned. Stupendous.

18/04/2025: Non vedo l'ora di tornare ad Otranto per cenare in questo ristorantino, un po' fuori dalla zona dei ristoranti turistici, ma comunque in centro. Gli antipasti della casa sono veramente buonissimi: tutti piatti di terra caserecci che ti fanno sentire veramente in salento! Abbiamo preso anche la pasta con la ricotta forte, veramente consigliata! Niente di particolare i secondi, purtroppo ai dolci non siamo riusciti ad arrivare...ma vale la pena tornare anche solo per fare il bis di antipasti! Assolutamente consigliato per chi vuole assaporare piatti semplici e gustosissimi! Il servizio cortese, il prezzi corretti.

29/12/2024: Siamo stati molto contenti e soddisfatti. Gli antipasti misticerano tutti molto buoni. Ci sono state offerte delle pittule appena fatte, calde croccanti e saporite. Vermicelli cozze e fagioli e sagne ncannulate saporite ed equilibrate.

18/08/2025: The people are really kind, friendly, and super helpful! They also serve delicious food and excellent fish. I had a great time, always ready to help and with a smile. Highly recommended!

07/08/2025: The beer was warm, the spaghetti wasn't cooked all the way through, and the seafood portion was very small for €15 – and everything was drenched in far too much oil. Overall, a disappointing experience. I can't recommend the restaurant.

21/08/2025: We went to Arcu te pratu for the first time yesterday and they really deserve it, we found the staff, including the managers, extremely kind and helpful, the dishes were abundant but above all delicious and above all a rare thing lately in Puglia, the prices were really honest.... I highly recommend it :)

04/05/2025: It's not just any place... even if it only stops us for lunch. It's a real EXPIRIENCE. Today I tasted (house entrée) the best freshly baked brioche bread in the world with French butter flavored with herbs. A homemade potato crochettone, served with mortadella and cream cheese (excellent!) and a really delicious yellow pumpkin flan as an appetizer, and the agnolotti freshly made by Agnese (the owner and chef of Villa De Donatis) with hand-rolled pastry and filled with parmesan cream (exceptional!!). All seasoned with excellent Salento wine, a breathtaking view and a familiar environment full of real life. Agnese SUPER!! Absolutely highly recommended ❤️

03/06/2025: Second time I return to this restaurant, Unfortunately I was disappointed (maybe the wrong night) I had reserved a Sunday night when we arrived it was closed, I called kindly and they said it was coming.. We entered and were seated at the table, there were no waiters, he was alone, tables still dirty from lunch, he really I think woken up from a nap, very kind I can't say otherwise but the place is quite run down. Good dishes, price too. I recommend more cleaning.. But I will return to see if it was the wrong night...

28/04/2025: È stata una piacevole serata, il menù fisso, previsto per motivi organizzativi , ha soddisfatto tutti i commensali, porzioni abbondanti e per chi volesse c'è stato anche il bis. Ottimi i taglieri di salumi e formaggi, i fritti da antipasto ma anche le varie portate tra mare e terra, il tutto accompagnato da vino primitivo. Servizio veloce, ordinato, efficiente e cortese. L'ambiente molto accogliente, spazioso. Da tenere presente per ritornarci al più presto.

07/06/2025: Encontramos este lugar mientras caminábamos por Lecce. Pedimos puccia y verduras a la parrilla. Todos estaban muy sabrosos. Las verduras a la parrilla podrían haber estado acompañadas de algún tipo de chapuzón, habría mejorado el sabor. El camarero fue muy amable.

01/06/2025: Gran variedad de cervezas locales y comida local. Apenas fuera del concurrido distrito. Buen lugar para relajarse un poco y disfrutar del buen tiempo de Italia.

29/06/2025: Staff not very experienced and unprepared.. 4 times we asked for a bottle of water after having practically finished dinner they brought 1 ok let's skip over it.. appetizer nothing exceptional. The first course was salty almost inedible It should be noted that the mussels of the first course were practically cold. It also happened at the table in front of us and honestly after we heard what the waitress or even the owner replied a review is in order. The risotto was the only dish that deserved 3 stars along with the tagliata 4 Waiters were not for one. We dedicate four stars to the view if we want to be honest.

05/05/2025: Everything is terrible, the food first of all. AVOID IT and you will have spent your money well. Fasting is better, trust me!!!!! I'm now reading the owner's response, but I reiterate the point already written: one of the worst places we have been to, with very poor quality food and moreover cooked by non-chefs.

01/08/2025: Dinner for 6, late July The place wasn't very crowded, but the waiter asked us to order more or less the same things because the kitchen was running late... The online menu was different from the paper one. Frequently inattentive service: bread wasn't brought, the first appetizer portions arrived without cutlery, etc. We ordered two ossobuco steaks, but the meat was stringy, and the risotto was also poorly cooked with a lot of sauce on top. Slow service.

21/08/2025: Years after my first review here, the place remains impeccable. The food is truly good. The staff is friendly and polite. In my opinion, the only problem now is the prices don't fully reflect what I've consumed.

20/08/2025: I feel compelled to change my review to a negative one. After last year's experience where they lost our reservation, we returned this year for the good pizza and the gluten-free pizza. Unfortunately, we found the service extremely slow; we waited an hour and a half for our pizzas. They're increasingly disorganized. I should add that they don't let you split the bill.
