07/06/2025: Unfortunately the evening was not perfect: reservation at 8:30 pm on a Saturday. We are 10 minutes late, our fault, by calling to let us know. We are told that there are no problems. Upon arrival our table was no longer available and, to avoid making us wait, we are given a table in a small space in front of the bathroom (not in use). Not bad, but it could have been managed better. We order two pizzas, a diavola and a crispy buffalo mozzarella (buffalo mozzarella added after cooking). Instead of the buffalo mozzarella, a margherita arrives. The waitress who took the order tries to convince us that we had ordered a margherita, but after reminding her how the order went, she is convinced and does her best to have it remade. After the necessary wait, another pizza arrives, again wrong (a margherita with the addition of buffalo mozzarella, burnt). At that point, because I was hungry and the other diner had already finished dinner a while ago, I ate without thinking too much, even though they had told us that if we wanted, they would have made it a third time. Of the two pizzas, one had the same dough, the other, the offending one, was very thin and was burnt. When paying at the cashier, no word was said about the evening, nor was there any "considerate" treatment: I paid for the pizza that I never received that cost more than the one I actually ate (not that I wanted a €2 discount, but at least to offer a bitter or a coffee to ease the difficulties of the service...). Overall, nothing tragic, but many small things that could be managed better with a minimum of attention. Surely thanks to the packed house on Saturday night.

03/06/2025: If I had to give a title to this review I would call it "We are still waiting for the last pizza to start dinner". There are pros and cons when it comes to "Pizzeria Tipo Zero" in Galatina. We were a table of ten people, and the place is really beautiful aesthetically, with a pleasant atmosphere. The pizza, without a doubt, is excellent: quality ingredients and well-made dough. However, the service left a lot to be desired, especially for a large table like ours. We waited a long time between one pizza and the next; two pizzas were brought to us every twenty minutes or so. The biggest problem was seeing that in the meantime other tables that arrived after us were being served. This made the experience fragmented and prevented us from dining at the same time and created a situation of "wait or no wait?". Creating discomfort between the diners, which is a real shame when you are in company. In short, the pizza gets full marks with an excellent dough that is both crispy and has a high edge and the environment is welcoming, but the organization of the service for large groups definitely needs to be improved. In short, it is a shame that a pizzeria indicated as among the best is lacking in service, especially when the prices are also high.

01/02/2025: Trovato posto di sabato sera in prima serata entro pochi minuti. Posto raccolto, caldo e accogliente. Servizio molto gentile e professionale. Cibo genuino e cucinato bene. Pizza molto buona. Antipasto originale. Vale la pena passare una serata in tranquillità con amici.

17/05/2025: Wir haben zweimal dort gegessen - jedesmal sehr lecker. Besonders empfehlenswert sind die Gerichte mit frisch gefangenem Fisch - sowohl als Primo mit Pasta, aber auch als Secondi. Sehr guter Wein - aber in Apulien haben wir diesbezüglich nur sehr gute Erfahrungen gemacht. Der Grappa bzw. der Espresso zum Schluss, ist uns gar nicht berechnet worden - also eine kleine Spende vom Haus.

12/04/2025: Locale frequentato per decenni. Oggi ci torno ogni tanto, sia per la nostalgia della nostra giovinezza, sia per la piacevolezza del tempo che vi si può trascorrere. Ai clienti più antiche non è sfuggito che il carrello degli antipasti ha perduto le cose più carine e costose, quindi non li prendiamo più. Anche perché il carrello degli antipasti è passato proprio come concetto. In effetti, la locanda è proprio la scena di un film sul sud degli anni Ottanta, nel bene e nel male. Il bene sta in una cucina semplice, familiare e a costi impressionanti. Una pizza margherita a 5€ non so dove si possa più trovare. Il male sta nell’ immutabilità. Il personale è molto gentile. 08/06/2025: I was there with my family. I had booked a table and even though I had done it just a couple of hours before, they found me a place. Excellent welcome from the staff who were immediately polite and available for any request. We had pizzas and first courses. Everything was excellent. The linguine with mussels and clams were simply delicious. Very beautiful location, very clean and discreet environment. Absolutely honest quality-price ratio. I also leave the stars for the chef because he deserves them all. Good work.

13/06/2025: We had a wonderful experience starting with an explanation of the procedure and the meal we’d be enjoying. Georgio is a master chef and patient teacher and his sister an expert translator. We peeled eggplant, rolled pasta, and smelled the delicious sugo bubbling away on the stove. It was a delight of the senses! We laughed and bonded over our love of cooking and food. This was a memorable way to end our trip to Puglia. Georgio and his sister were so accommodating and super friendly. Thank you for such a lovely evening and delicious dinner. We’ll be back!! ❤️

03/06/2025: The experience at this restaurant was exceptional. The food is delicious; if you're looking for Puglian specialties, you can go there with your eyes closed. The price/quality ratio is excellent! And what honesty! The manager chased us around Lecce to make sure we hadn't paid twice. In short, don't hesitate for a second if you're in Lecce.
