05/08/2024: Good food, good speed in serving dishes, small and warm place, but looked after quite well: nice music and well decorated. It's a shame, a real shame about the service: I'll start by saying that we showed up 20 minutes late due to an unexpected event: we were treated like a fish in our faces. The owner was quite hasty (which I could also understand given our delay), didn't even look at us in the face, served the dishes in a "mute" way, leaving the plate for you and going away, he didn't even leave us the bread, he took away the dishes of every course without even asking if we were finished, after paying they didn't even say hello... the girl was a little more polite. We had booked with the fork and rightly we were not given the 20% discount on the price due to the delay, and the owner told us that he would apply the "famous" internal discount... he practically didn't make us pay the cover charge, which we didn't even receive... never mind... I kept quiet so as not to get angry, he probably thinks I fell for it.
It's a shame, the place has potential and the food is good, certainly a little expensive for what it is.

18/08/2024: We ate there with the family a couple of days ago and what can I say... Nice location, quite good and helpful waiters, good and plentiful dishes. It is not a luxury restaurant, but the quality/price ratio is very good. We filled ourselves with an appetizer and a first course each.

31/08/2024: We were here in August 2024, we wanted to have a seated dinner, but there was a crazy queue before us. We opted for the takeaway service: we ate two portions of mixed fried calamari and prawns, really excellent, fried on the spot, we didn't even wait that long. The environment was really nice, the staff were really kind, there were two Spanish girls who served the tables, and managed the queue, always polite and with a smile.
Next time I hope to dine inside. Really recommended
29/08/2024: I had a wonderful meal here, it's a paradise, they welcome you divinely and with incredible kindness, the girl at the checkout is very nice and professional, always ready to find a solution or help you with anything, I'll be back for sure before returning to Rome, I will recommend it for those who have relaxing days ❤️

19/07/2024: Locale ampio e spazioso. Personale gentile e veloce. Birre eccezionali e cibi veramente buoni realizzati con materie prime di qualità. Una nota particolare alla pizza veramente ottima. Rapporto qualità prezzo ottimo. Esperienza da ripetere e locale da consigliare. Bravi.

Cibo per lo più buono, ma piatti assolutamente un po' troppo cari.
Almeno si stava al "fresco".
Camerieri uomini un po'imbronciati.

18/08/2024: Fish fryer by the sea. Located with a very central sea view, high quality fresh fish, you can tell that it is freshly caught.
They don't make reservations, you'd better go before 8, they don't have many seats, otherwise you'll have to wait, but there is the possibility of taking away food.
Don't expect 5-star restaurant type service. They are service choices that work for the type of catering offered.
Personally I took a raw mussels and a medium mixed seafood, a slice of tuna, it's a shame I didn't try the sea urchins for the still fish, the fried foods are really very good.
Excellent price and quality, really. Including drinks, 4 of us managed to spend less than 30 euros per person.
Highly recommended.
16/08/2024: At Captain Morgan you can find very fresh fish at reasonable prices. I have been going to this place for years and I have always been satisfied, both myself and the friends I bring there to eat. Highly recommended

Good raw materials, beautiful location (practically on the rocks), but this does not justify a very high bill without having taken fresh fish or bottled wine. The worst dish was the pasta with mussels which was a simple pasta with tomato sauce.
Very friendly staff but some of them inadequate.
The dinner ends with the owner offending the customer who was actually trying to accommodate him on the division of the bill.
Never seen such rudeness and lack of respect towards those who are "giving" you undeserved money.
We were all amazed.

22/08/2024: Bad experience on the eve of a party even though we stopped there at 9pm. Table service absent, in fact the customer must locate a free table. After waiting more than half an hour for two half pizzas to come out, the latter were totally raw... staff inside the bar disorganized and annoyed!
In the open space there was a coming and going of people who approached the tables to ask when they were freed to seat other customers...
23/07/2024: Eating the goodness of Matteo's Bar Pizzeria Ducale is an exceptional experience. Pastries, rotisseries, pizzas and everything else have a unique taste. Added to this is the kindness of Matteo, Giorgia, the boys and the whole family. Highly recommended!!

17/07/2024: Locale Top.. personale gentile e competente.. pietanze buonissime.. abbiamo mangiato gli antipasti erano squisiti per non parlare dei primi piatti.. le fritture una delizia.. buono tutto veramente.. alla fine per completare la cena abbiamo assaggiato il tiramisù alla menta e il sorbetto al mandarino.. ah rapporto qualità prezzo ottimo!
Peccato essere lontani.. altrimenti sarebbe da tornare..

14/07/2024: Premesso che andiamo in vacanza da queste parti da molti anni ma lo scopriamo per caso tramite passa parola con la gente del posto. Un paesino piccolo e non è di passaggio quindi ci devi andare apposta.Location molto carina ( ex frantoio ) con n la pietra leccese che ti da quella sensazione di pace .Buona accoglienza sia da parte dei ragazzi che lo stesso proprietario Fabio sapranno come metterti al tuo aggio . Che dire cibo ( sia per amanti del pesce che non ) lontano dal concetto turistico .Tutto preparato con la passione senza abbandonare la giusta qualità delle materie prime .Menù viene spesso modificato quindi a volte meglio farsi consigliare . Prezzo onesto che vi garantisce quel giusto equilibrio tra soddisfazione del palato e il portafogli più leggero.. Eravamo una famiglia di 4 persone con 2 figli e ci siamo trovati così bene che prima di tornare a casa siamo ritornati confermando in pieno nostro entusiasmo della volta precedente.Se siete da queste parti fateci un salto e non rimenerete delusi -provare per credere .Peccato che viviamo a 700 km di distanza

03/08/2024: We had dinner in this place in the center of Lecce. A place with great attention to detail in the furnishings of the different rooms, very special! But let's move on to food. I took a Greek salad revisited in the Salento style with the addition of capers and excellent frisa. But there is something for all tastes. The venue is suitable for children and pet friendly
