17/04/2025: The place is very nice, spacious and the staff is very friendly. The quality of the food did not seem excellent to me, starting from the decidedly tasteless marinated tuna, up to the swordfish carpaccio, soaked in vinegar to excess. I didn't mind the pizza by the slice.

22/08/2025: The food was very good, both the pucce and Paolo's grilled meat. The service was excellent, and the wait was short. The prices are affordable for everyone. I didn't particularly like the location, but the inside is well-ventilated, keeping the place very cool. I'd add that the meat was cooked very well and everything was fresh. I glimpsed the pizzas at other tables, and they looked very inviting. The bathroom was a bit run-down and a bit dirty. I'll finish by saying that I highly recommend this place, especially for the food.

The food is excellent and incredibly fresh, expertly prepared by the chef and his staff. The service is attentive and impeccable. The location, surrounded by greenery, is beautiful. 03/08/2025: I wanted to thank Maddalena for her professionalism, kindness, and sensitivity. Today we celebrated my dad's 91st birthday, and everything was perfect...as always. Every time, it's like being at home. We feel welcomed with open arms, with his huge smile. Generous portions and everything delicious. 27/08/2025: We ordered linguine with clams (definitely bought in a can at the supermarket, never seen a dish with shelled clams) and they arrived very salty, inedible. We mentioned this to the waiter, who apologized but told us that the chef would have charged us for them anyway and didn't care what we thought. We found his attitude truly rude; he could have apologized instead of having the waiter cover for him. A terrible experience. The other dishes were lousy.

20/08/2025: The orecchiette alla salentina were excellent, and the mixed fried fish was very tasty.

15/08/2025: We were served by the brunette waitress wearing dark glasses: rude, bored with her job, and offensively "sarcastic." The entire evening, we were afraid to even order a pizza and a Coke because they judged it to be our taste. We were reading the menus, and she practically snatched them from our hands and took them to another table without even asking "please," and the same thing happened with a bottle of water. After several insults disguised as irony, when we reached the cashier, at the checkout, they refused to let us pay separately, something unthinkable in 2025, especially for a table of 13. I'll end with one detail: when splitting the bill, they threw a calculator at us, saying, "You do it yourself." The only positive note was the pizza.

24/04/2025: Non sono abituato a scrivere una recensione di getto ma la pasta e patate con scampi appena servita è da urlo. Con quella nota piccante c he non sovrasta assolutamente la comunione di sapori perfetta e piena di gusto con sapori autentici. L’antipasto molto buono ed una nota particolare sui crostoni alla cipolla. Trovato grazie ad un commento carpito sulla spiaggia. Da provare se si è in zona. Prezzi onesti per la qualità proposta. Servizio impeccabile.

23/02/2025: Una serie di errori e disattenzioni soprattutto sull’aspetto gluten free, ma anche nel servizio, tuttavia a parte alcuni dettagli dei piatti si mangia abbastanza bene, ma ci sono aspettative troppo alte.

05/09/2025: I highly recommend this property, I stayed with my family and we had a great time, room with a super sea view, very kind staff and very attentive to the customer's needs, the dinner was very well prepared and balanced (in our case we had a package including dinner) The location is also excellent for getting around Otranto, Gallipoli etc. my rating is 10👏🏻

01/08/2025: I wanted to try the aperitivo after seeing it advertised on some YouTube videos for €10 per person. This is actually the price of the appetizers, plus the price of the drink (in other places the advertised price includes both). I was only partially satisfied with the food; not everything seemed to be prepared that day (perhaps due to the intense heat). The staff is super friendly, and the place is very cute. I want to try to return to see if I can change my mind about the food.

15/08/2025: Dinner with the family. We didn't use the rooms. As for the food, you have to like their vegan approach. For me (a carnivore), the appetizer was excellent, the first course was perhaps a bit too heavy, and the dessert was delicious. We didn't order the second course because we were too full. What's striking, however, is the tranquility of the place, a true oasis of peace just steps from the road. Add to that a lovely welcome from Francesca, and you've got a truly relaxing evening.

05/05/2025: Eating at Piccapane is a unique experience: a family environment surrounded by greenery where you can enjoy excellent vegan dishes prepared with attention and love. This was the feeling we felt yesterday at lunch, from the welcome from the very kind staff to the tasting of the dishes, in the choice of which we were carefully guided. The food is incredible, a joy of simple flavors with refined combinations. There is also a small shop where you can purchase their products. Finding an entirely vegan restaurant in Salento was a dream until recently. Piccapane is truly a virtuous example, spokesperson for a change that we hope will spread more and more. (access is also allowed to animals ❤️)
