La Lanterna In Martano

One of the best dinners of our trip to Salento! The absolute star was the octopus: probably the best we've ever eaten, incredibly tender and cooked to perfection. The typical Salento appetizers, prepared with quality ingredients, and the fried fish were also excellent, truly light and crispy. We paired our dinner with a house rosé, fresh and pleasant, perfectly enhancing the flavors of the dishes. For our second course, we chose the sausage terrine with vegetables, a rich, flavorful, and well-prepared dish. Finally, the orange and lemon spumone was the perfect dessert: fresh and light, ideal for ending the evening. Friendly service, a welcoming atmosphere, and excellent value. Highly recommended for anyone who wants to enjoy authentic Salento cuisine. We would definitely return!
