15/04/2026: A surprising Wednesday evening: under Modou's careful guidance and advice, anything is possible. We chose a grilled meat for two, which far exceeded our expectations: excellent quality, perfectly cooked, and authentic flavors. Attentive service and a pleasant atmosphere. An experience worth repeating. Don't miss the fruit gelato served in a refined caramel basket.

10/04/2026: We were recommended to the restaurant and were serviced by Cecelia and the service was great, the food was fantastic and the atmosphere is great. I highly recommend this place, we have been in the puglia region for the past week and we all agreed this was by far the best meal we had all trip. We will definitely go back again before we end our trip. We had the lamb and the pork flavor was so good and all melted like butter. Highly recommend this place and Cecelia for your waitress!!

02/01/2026: It's not the first time, not surprisingly, dishes that amaze the palate, smell, and taste buds. Everything is impeccable. I have a small complaint: the place isn't well heated. I recommend a stove with a fire; it would add a touch of warmth and make the space more welcoming. In the bathroom, turning on the existing radiator would be enough.

17/03/2026: Very elegant restaurant but we were disappointed by the food. Gracious service. I had pasta with lobster which was quite nice. The sauce ofolive oil and cherry tomato was light and bright. The tail had been loosened from the shell but it was difficult to get at any other meaty bits as no special implements were provided nor finger bowls. I expect diners here are too elegant to wrestle with their shellfish. My companion had grilled swordfish which was dry. The steaks were very thin, less than a centimetre thick. That’s likely a management decision which makes the work of the kitchen staff near impossible. We ordered two contorni. Grilled mixed vegetables were tough and dry for the most part. Partly the consequence of slicing courgettes and aubergines too thinly. Partly the decision to over-grill resulting in a good looking dish at the expense of tenderness. There was a bottle of olive provided that helped. No seasoning. The other dish of aubergine salad was tasty and well seasoned from capers but served stone cold straight from the fridge. It could have been improved by serving slightly chilled or at room temperature.

21/03/2026: The first impression is that of an average restaurant with the same old pizza and the same old menu, but when the parmigiana, wild chicory, and fava bean purée arrive at the table, you realize you're at your mother's house and you relish the familiar flavors. I can say that my wife and I had an excellent culinary experience that celebrates Puglian tradition, with rich and flavorful eggplant parmigiana and a fava bean purée with chicory that perfectly balances the sweetness of the fava beans with the bitterness of the vegetables. These are authentic, warm, and well-prepared dishes, ideal for those who love the authentic flavors of Salento. I live in Verbania on the shores of Lake Maggiore.

The dinner was sublime, starting with the appetizers, a treat for the palate, and continuing with the delicate yet persistent first course. The second courses were an explosion of flavors, both the lamb and the cooked veal. The inevitable dessert was a must... In short, you have to try it to understand. Compliments to the chef and his team.

09/12/2025: The location is very unique. The aperitif was served in a former quarry dug into the ground and later covered with a barrel vault. Dinner took place in the cellar, where enormous oak barrels, each holding 6-8,000 liters, are stored. The simple yet refined dinner was appropriate for the unique setting.
