Location: Tabisca is located in a charming alley in the historic center of Lecce, a few steps from Piazza Santa Chiara. The environment is intimate and welcoming, with rustic and modern furnishings at the same time. Service: The service was impeccable. The staff is kind, attentive and prepared, ready to advise customers on dishes and wines. Food: I had the pleasure of tasting a truly excellent mixed platter of cold cuts and cheeses. The cured meats were of high quality and the cheeses, from different regions of Italy, were perfectly paired. As a second course, I took an Iberian presa de bellota, which turned out to be a true masterpiece. The meat was very tender and tasty, it melted in your mouth. Bill: The price is absolutely in line with the quality of the food and service offered. Ultimately, Tabisca is a restaurant that I highly recommend to all lovers of good food. The welcoming atmosphere, impeccable service and excellent cuisine make this place a real pearl in the heart of Lecce. Rating: 5 stars! I had the pleasure to taste a delicious portion of roasted meat yesterday night with some friends, accompained by grilled potatoes, vegetables and an excellent bottle of red wine. Everything was perfect, from food to location......not to mention the final dessert, as superb as the rest. Utterly recommended!

No, well, I couldn't wait to review this place. Premise that I arrived there in DISASTROUS conditions, tired after a trip from Milan to Lecce.. first dinner in Lecce after a failed lunch in Brindisi. Really tired and I have zero expectations, I know nothing about the place. Ok let's start with the welcome, nothing special, drinks arrive and everything is normal. There is a huge choice of meats, we don't know what to choose, this guy comes to the table, explains to us how to cook our meat on plates and explains to us that their formula consists of that if you don't like what you are eating or drinking, you can take it changes without additions or explanations. I am amazed. Therefore the whole process of what to eat, because then when you are tired you feel confused, we also ask for help in choosing the type of meat. We completely rely on the choice of this guy who reassures us with "if you don't like it we'll change it without problems" as well as for the glass of red wine and beer. My son sets off determinedly with a pork shank... he arrives, he sees the knuckle, it doesn't fit... it's stewed and what he ate is roasted, nothing, it could have been a drama, taking into account that the child was also tired, but nothing, in less than 15 minutes he has a cut of meat, he replaces it with one similar to ours, always suggested by this guy. .15 min later we are all happy and content. And as if by magic or perhaps for that good meat that puts you back together, perhaps the good beer and wine they have, in short at the end of the evening we only noticed the time that had passed. The only flaw in my opinion, we were lucky that there weren't many people, the space is small, I didn't book, I don't know if it can be done, I would suggest booking. We were so happy that some friends returned after telling them about our experience. Confirmed, tabisca is little talk and all substance. What can I tell you, I fell in love with the service, for me the meat was top of the range but the service, especially in Puglia, has never been found in all these months. Impeccable customer attention. If you want an evening with zero errors I recommend it! It's not cheap, but you're paying for substance as well as 5-star service. Well done. I called him THAT BOY, because I don't remember his name, he gave us an excellent experience, without ever being on him but always careful. As I told you, it is not cheap and it doesn't have to be because when you pay the bill you will do it with pleasure. Because that's what it's about. Not not to spend but to spend it well, and at the tabisca you won't regret it! Nobody paid me for this review, but I like it and really like finding places like this! I hope that others in Puglia follow an example and that tabisca never changes mood!

Very friendly staff, English spoken. Outdoors, in the “street” seating. Didn’t even really see the dining room, so can’t comment on it. Good food, steakhouse, lots of options for steak, bruschetta, charcuterie, we tried one of each. Also tried a Spinach “pie” Not pie as we know it, really just a bunch of cooked spinach and some cheese, shaped in a mold. Nothing wrong with that. Skipped dessert. Overall a very good meal in a pleasant place. Good way to eat when taking a break from pasta & pizza.

Una bella presentazione e non solo della location, raffinata nel suo stile, ma anche nei piatti o meglio nei taglieri dove sia la carne che i salumi ne esaltano la qualità. Non mancano prodotti caseari del territorio e contorni sfiziosi da associare.
