03/07/2026: A lovely courtyard with a plant-covered roof and a local menu that offers something for everyone. We shared prosciutto with burrata as a starter, followed by gnocchi with prawns and pistachios, and then pizza quattroformaggi. Both the pizza and pasta were certainly among the best we had of our entire vacation. The wine was also very good. The service was friendly and very attentive. One waiter even speaks German and was happy to use it. Definitely a highly recommended restaurant.

26/04/2026: The masseria is beautiful, well-renovated, with lots of greenery, a large pool with plenty of space around it, and spacious, clean rooms. The staff is always helpful and friendly. The breakfast is excellent, and the restaurant is no exception. The location is also excellent, very close to the center of Gallipoli. We will definitely be back.

30/04/2026: Lovely stay in a quiet area. Very child-friendly too. The owners are super friendly. In the end, we couldn't eat there because the restaurant was booked for a party, but we suspect the food is just as tasty and well-prepared as the breakfast. Calamate is highly recommended!

14/06/2026: Discovered by chance. It was just the two of us for lunch. Freshly prepared, country-style cuisine. The panciotti cacio e pepe were very flavorful, while the fettuccine alle verdure were more delicate but equally delicious. The owner chatted with us. We had a country atmosphere and ate lunch outdoors. The interior was welcoming.
31/05/2026: Le Casine sull’Asso was a wonderful discovery. A charming place, a warm welcome, and kind and professional owners. The food is excellent, authentic, and with attention to detail. I highly recommend it.

27/09/2025: A small restaurant just off the main nightlife hub, in the Convitto Palmieri area. The fried calzones are very large and delicious. The wait is reasonable, considering they're fried fresh. In addition to the classic calzone, you can also choose from a variety of fillings and dough. There are tables outside, without service, for a bite to eat and a drink. Prices are higher, but justified by the size, than the traditional calzone found everywhere else.
