29/08/2024: We had dinner last night. Local "sea view" (after parking and road) and not "over" the sea. Not bad, just for precision. The terrace is however airy and pleasant. Kind and attentive staff. Very nice and affable manager. Regarding food: stratospheric highs and “clumsy” lows. Fresh and very good tuna, both the tartare and the seared one, the lobster tagliolini worthy of an Oscar, while the fried squid without praise or infamy. It's a shame that the sautéed mussels and clams had an unconvincing flavor, even though they were "fresh". Upon our observation, we were told that given the season, an "alternative dish" would have been better... we wondered why he didn't suggest it to us and why he didn't remove mussels from the menu. Full-bodied rosé wine, pleasant on the palate. Fresh and tasty dessert and fruit. €320 is enough for 4, given the lobster and the wine, even if not everyone ate everything. Too bad the mussels

Friendly waiters, we were absolutely disappointed...it's definitely not 5 star and I definitely wouldn't go back again.

21/08/2024: Difficile pensare che arrivati in Puglia si possa mangiare così male. Dalle recensioni positive ci aspettavamo qualcosa di tipico, saranno riferite ad una vecchia gestione. Menù molto limitato, nessun tipo di antipasto, piatti senza nessun tipo di sapore. Il mio salmone sarà stato passato sotto l’acqua corrente prima di essere servito. Oltre all’impossibilità di pagare la propria quota singolarmente con il Pos essendo stato un gruppo di 8 persone. Al momento del conto la signora non è stata minimamente preoccupata delle lamentele sulla qualità del cibo in quanto essendo turisti non saremmo più tornati, con molto menefreghismo l’importante era pagarsi un servizio ed una qualità pessima.

The venue is a true jewel, characterized by an elegant and welcoming atmosphere, perfectly in line with the beauty of the surrounding context. One of the aspects that impressed me the most was the service. The waiter Mattia who followed us throughout the evening was impeccable: professional, courteous and always available to satisfy our every request with a sincere smile. He was able to best advise us on dishes and wines, demonstrating in-depth knowledge of the menu and local products. The cuisine was simply exceptional. Each dish was an explosion of flavours, prepared with the freshest ingredients and presented with almost artistic care. The combination of tradition and innovation has managed to create a culinary experience that I will not easily forget. From first courses to desserts, everything was perfect. In conclusion, I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who is in Otranto and wants to experience an evening of good food and high-class service. A place where taste and elegance meet to create an unforgettable experience.

24/08/2024: Beautiful and particular environment, the owner kind and nice, very negative note for the waiter who was too intrusive with inappropriate jokes, rude and offensive towards the customer. The kitchen leaves much to disinherit. The restaurant would have high potential if it weren't for the service, the cuisine and the waiter. I wouldn't go back.

04/08/2024: I ate divinely!!! 🍝 Then top redfish!! 10 with honors. Just one piece of advice: lower the hedge, the air will circulate more and people can admire the splendid square!!! The staff was very nice and prepared!!! Highly recommended!!!!

03/08/2024: Fantastic experience in the village of Muro Leccese. Nonna Rosa is renowned for the quality of its fresh fish. Expectations were fully met. In fact, the raw and cooked starter is highly recommended. Then for the daredevils, the catch of the day, to choose from the appropriate cart. The staff is very kind and attentive to customer needs. I will definitely go back.

17/08/2024: Partiamo dalle cose positive: - estrema attenzione al senza glutine, la mia compagna celiaca ha mangiato senza problemi con un’ampia scelta di piatti (quasi tutto il menù si poteva avere senza glutine) - locale grazioso e personale gentile - piatti della vera tradizione salentina eseguiti in maniera discreta - personale gentile - prezzi nella norma Meno bene: - Il locale ha un piccolo spazio aperto all’ingresso, la sala centrale e un terrazzo esterno. Nella sala centrale fa un caldo terrificante, ad agosto non è fattibile sostenere una cena. In questa sala ci sarebbe un condizionatore, ma è rimasto spento tutta la sera. Se i gestori decidono per motivi loro di tenerlo spento, dovrebbero dichiarare la sala inagibile o al limite avvisare gli avventori. Noi avevamo prenotato a metà luglio per una cena da tenersi il 17 agosto e nonostante un mese di anticipo non siamo riusciti ad avere un tavolo all’esterno. Possibile? - il menù in dialetto salentino è sicuramente carino, ma può mettere in difficoltà un turista - avendo un tavolo di fronte alla cucina potevamo sentire le reprimende della cuoca verso i collaboratori, situazione che ha trasmesso un po’ di disagio - vino un po’ troppo caldo

11/08/2024: Sin! It was my favorite baghetteria because it offered excellent raw materials so even the combinations chosen gave an excellent result. Unfortunately this is no longer the case, just a week ago I had poke instead of baghette but with the same ingredients I usually fill bread with, I was disappointed because it was all tasteless. The tables outside were all dirty, we had to clean the table ourselves and someone came out to clean it after we were done. I conclude: too bad!
