04/01/2026: We had a very good lunch: paccheri with lobster, fried fish, mixed fried fish, and linguine with squid ink. I recommend booking and getting a table in the corner, so you have a beautiful view of the sea. 🌊 The staff was very friendly and happy, even though the place was full. In the summer, with the veranda open, I imagine it would be spectacular (we were there in January). Compliments to all the staff. 👍

31/12/2025: We arrived at this restaurant after a fantastic winter hike in the "palude de capitane," attracted by its strategic location directly on the beach. The location is indeed beautiful, and the dining room is completely glassed-in, offering a pleasant and relaxing view. The staff is friendly and helpful without being intrusive. Unfortunately, the food didn't live up to expectations, perhaps because it's out of season. The shrimp rice was overcooked, and the octopus alla piñata seemed reheated. Wine by the glass wasn't available, but that, too, may be because it's out of season. The price was reasonable. Perhaps we could try again in a more favorable season...

21/12/2025: One of the few places that serves fresh croissants (not frozen and reheated ones), which are also excellent quality (although a bit overstuffed, which makes them difficult to eat without getting dirty...). Friendly service (even at the table) and a lovely outdoor terrace with plenty of tables overlooking the sea.

23/12/2025: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ An authentic experience in the heart of Lecce We dined at Locanda Arcu te Pratu and the experience exceeded our expectations. The setting beneath the historic arch is very evocative and creates a truly special atmosphere. The cuisine is authentic, prepared with quality ingredients and well-balanced in flavor. The service is professional, friendly, and attentive, while the good selection of wines perfectly complements the experience. A restaurant recommended for those seeking quality, tradition, and a characteristic setting in Lecce. We will definitely return.

28/07/2025: Terrible place to eat. The owner is truly arrogant and presumptuous. He mocks customers and says untrue things. The food was truly awful and the price was high. I ordered bombette and he brought me a stewed meat that was spicy and extremely salty, practically inedible. I strongly advise against it.

24/12/2025: The location is beautiful and feels like being on a ship under a starry sky in the late afternoon, towards evening. The pizzas are good and with strange combinations, like pumpkin, dates, and bacon, for example. Everything was fine except the wait. There were only three of us, with the restaurant empty, and it took about fifteen minutes for the pizzas to arrive. But all in all, not bad. Really nice: the place, the pizzas, the atmosphere. I'm not giving it 5 stars just because of the wait, because everything else is excellent.

16/11/2025: I had a gluten-free pizza (for those with intolerances) that I took out, and when I ate it at home, despite it being lukewarm, it was incredibly good! Really good! Congratulations, best pizza in the Lecce hinterland.

16/10/2025: Bakery offering quality bread, friselline, and biscuits, all expertly made in the old-fashioned way, and you can taste it! My only suggestion (I hope it's implemented) would be to see the words "Wood-fired oven" written on both the sign and the product labels: but Mr. Piero is absorbed in his work and less in communication. Perhaps he takes this type of baking for granted, which is a tradition here, but requires a great deal of effort and dedication from those who make it and shouldn't be underestimated. However, I think it's worth HIGHLIGHTING: everyone in the area knows about it, but there are also tourists and those just passing through, and this could help them better understand and appreciate the effort put into producing their baked goods.

24/09/2025: I went to eat on Saturday evening with my cousin and her children, we had the fried food which was delicious like the ones our grandmothers used to make, the bruschetta was equally good and the mixed roast, everything was really excellent, the service was impeccable, the manager and the waiters were really kind... The tasteful decor creates an intimate and relaxing atmosphere. But the real added value is its owner. Not only is she incredibly friendly, she's also a true master of the art of mixology and hospitality. I didn't just order a drink from the menu: I asked her for a recommendation, and she guided me through a selection of flavors, offering a passionate and knowledgeable description. The result? A perfect cocktail, balanced and made with the highest-quality ingredients. A five-star experience that I recommend to anyone passing through! I'll be back very soon!

25/10/2025: We had a wonderful time visiting Barlento multiple times during our recent visit to Morciano di Leuca. Enrica and her staff were very welcoming and the service, cappuccinos, and pasticciotti were amazing. Beautiful location for watching the sunset and next to a park the kids could play in. I can not recommend this bar enough for people wanting a great spot to share a drink and chat. Thanks Enrica and everyone there for the great times! We will be back!
