23/02/2026: Everything seemed fine about 20 minutes after ordering, the waiter informed us that it would take another 40 minutes for our pizzas due to a mysterious problem with the oven. From other reviews, however, I note that this problem occurs often. Perhaps the owners should reconsider the number of seats they can honestly serve, given that they don't even have the good sense to offer a small discount for such a huge disservice. The pizza still arrived 90 minutes after ordering, and in our opinion, it's worse than last year.

14/02/2026: Terrible service, they give priority to takeaway pizzas and we who had a reservation have been waiting for an hour.

28/10/2025: Wonderful location. I've been there several times, both for dining and for a club night in August. Not least, a 40th birthday party. Everything was perfect. Highly recommended.

18/10/2025: Wedding in October. Thanks to the beautiful weather, the organization was impeccable, overseen by the owner. The food was excellent, the dishes were beautifully arranged, and the staff was professional, attentive to detail and the guests' needs. All in a fantastic location. Everything was magnificently perfect!!!

10/03/2026: The atmosphere is sad and gloomy. The food is pleasant, but the service leaves a little to be desired. There are worse things to be seen.

18/02/2026: A pleasant discovery in the Galatone countryside: a farmhouse immersed in nature and silence, tucked away and fortunately far from the Salento nightlife. The culinary offerings are excellent, ranging from typical dishes to simple, traditional fare. Nothing particularly elaborate, but everything is good and substantial. The bill is reasonable (€30/person). The service is a delight 😉. Would I return? Yes.

26/09/2025: Let's start at the beginning. The tomato base tastes like tomatoes. You know, that sunny red fruit we use in salads, sauces, and more. Well, here it's really used. The crust is thin and perfectly cooked. The welcome from our lost French friends who don't speak a word of Italian was very pleasant. Two pizzas ready in ten minutes. Efficient and no fuss. All pizzas are under €10.

08/09/2025: I went to this place yesterday for the first time, I didn't think the meat was so good and tender.. thin and quality horse meat slice, excellent pork strips.. service could be improved a bit but I would go there again.. excellent price.

19/03/2026: A lovely atmosphere, the food is good, from appetizers to first and second courses. The staff is really friendly and always smiling, especially the girl with red hair and glasses. Whether you go alone, as a couple, or in a group, it's always worth it!

24/02/2026: The waitress, named Francesca, served my table inefficiently, rudely, and was very confused, so much so that she passed my table's order to someone else. Despite noticing the mistake, she took a long time to serve us, bringing us the receipt but not the order. We sat for 35 minutes without an order (the restaurant was empty). Not at all professional.

12/02/2026: The staff were very welcoming and courteous. The entire property displays great care and attention to detail. The suite with a pool is simply stunning, as well as very quaint. Even though it wasn't high season, our stay was still very pleasant, and the property is in top form. Plus, it boasts an excellent sea view. Definitely not to be missed if you're near Otranto.

09/01/2026: We stayed at this property for three nights. Upon check-in, we received a warm welcome that gave us hope. The masseria immediately struck us as beautiful and elegant. We booked two nights in a superior room, on two levels. The third night was in a suite with a small indoor pool. Nothing to complain about the interior decor and layout of the room, which is in typical Salento masseria style. Perhaps a little impractical, but nevertheless refined and tasteful. Problems arose after a few minutes... There was only one convector heater, which blew out lukewarm air and struggled to heat the entire room (the convector heater upstairs wasn't working). The temperature outside was close to freezing. There was no dehumidifier. The room was extremely cold, and the humidity inside was almost unbearable, so much so that water was dripping from the walls and the sheets were wet, as was the mattress. We reported the problem to the owner, who replied that it wasn't her fault if it was cold, and even if she'd given us extra sheets, they would still have been damp. She blamed the particularly cold time of year, not a clearly and grossly inadequate heating and dehumidification system. We didn't sleep a wink that night, and I felt very sick. I mentioned all this again the next morning to the owner, who downplayed the whole thing, saying it had never been this cold in Salento. She then dismissed me somewhat bluntly and resolved the problem her way, simply giving me an extra blanket. The second night, despite having paid for the room, we even went to sleep at a friend's house to avoid another sleepless night, especially considering the hotel's practically zero willingness to resolve our issue. To avoid completely wasting our money, we still enjoyed breakfast, which we have nothing to complain about because it was excellent. The third night, we moved to the Monaci suite, hoping the situation would improve. A stunning and beautiful suite with a wall-mounted split heating system that's significantly more efficient and independently controllable... although the walls were still dripping with water, and the floor was riddled with water. The bathroom didn't even have an opening window or ventilation system, and after a shower, all the humidity remained on the walls, clothes, and floor, even though we'd turned on the dehumidifier. At least we were able to sleep, because it was definitely warmer. But I don't think a property with such humidity problems (not just those with indoor pools) can be rented in the winter, especially at such high prices. I believe that the primary goal of a hospitality facility, especially one aiming to achieve certain standards, should be the OVERALL comfort of its guests. This review is simply an opinion based on our direct experience. **After reading the property's response to my review, I only found further proof that they clearly don't accept criticism and tend to place the blame on the guest's incompetence, rather than taking constructive action to resolve issues that make their guests' stay unpleasant. I would like to point out that no second split unit was activated in our room (the one upstairs wasn't working) and that we are able to use an air conditioner. ***The fact that their property is light years different from mine should be an EVEN MORE guarantee of a comfortable stay for guests, not the other way around! If a guest is forced to stay elsewhere, despite having paid for the room, there's clearly something wrong, and this is an objective fact, not a personal opinion.
