Discovered by chance. It was just the two of us for lunch. Freshly prepared, country-style cuisine. The panciotti cacio e pepe were very flavorful, while the fettuccine alle verdure were more delicate but equally delicious. The owner chatted with us. We had a country atmosphere and ate lunch outdoors. The interior was welcoming.

Le Casine sull’Asso was a wonderful discovery. A charming place, a warm welcome, and kind and professional owners. The food is excellent, authentic, and with attention to detail. I highly recommend it.

We ate really well, from the 10-course appetizers to the gnocchi pasta and an exceptional, very tender horse rib steak. The desserts are homemade, except for the spumone. The price is fair.

A pleasant discovery in the Galatone countryside: a farmhouse immersed in nature and silence, tucked away and fortunately far from the Salento nightlife. The culinary offerings are excellent, ranging from typical dishes to simple, traditional fare. Nothing particularly elaborate, but everything is good and substantial. The bill is reasonable (€30/person). The service is a delight 😉. Would I return? Yes.

A rustic place, it's unpretentious on the outside, but the interior is very welcoming with a lovely fireplace. The food is high-quality and plentiful, and the prices are fair. The owner and his father are kind and knowledgeable.

An underrated place. The interior is very charming and well-heated, and the food is delicious, from the generous appetizers to the homemade digestifs. The only thing missing is a bit of a makeover to the slightly neglected exterior and a more visible sign, but that doesn't affect the rating. The stream next to the agriturismo is also charming.
