20/08/2024: Very friendly staff, delicious cuisine and located in a beautiful location. This is one of the best places to stay in Piedmont!

08/07/2024: Staying at Locanda la Raia is like feeling at home. You feel from the first moment you arrive that the priority is the guests and that they want you to appreciate every glimpse of that wonderful place. There is history, art, landscapes. Plus you can take walks immersed in nature where you always stay inside the estate which is immense. Unfortunately we couldn't cover everything it had to offer and this is definitely a reason to return.

08/08/2024: Andato sabato sera per la prima volta, abbiamo mangiato nel loro bellissimo giardino. Abbiamo preso il menù degustazione, tutte le portate molto buone un picco va attribuito al loro risotto al gavi, la portata leggermente sotto le altre, ma sempre buono,il tonno portato come seconda portata. Cantina con ottima scelta di vini con etichette importanti. I prezzi si possono vedere sul loro sito. Noi siamo stati molto bene e spero di tornarci presto.

Honest and very affordable prices combined with the courtesy and friendliness of all the staff. A little place discovered by chance, a fabulous and unexpected evening. We will definitely be back.

16/07/2024: I went for my birthday and I have to say everything was perfect. Very kind staff and very good and plentiful dishes, right price if we consider that we had 4 first courses, 3 second courses, 4 side dishes and 4 desserts, water and 1l of wine I will definitely return

03/08/2024: ANSWER: Happy that a negative review is a blessing for you! Cake without warning? Maybe communication isn't the best then within your team, given that you knew that we would bring the cake and also where it came from (and not "from home"😉), but perhaps you preferred to have exclusivity? Never seen anyone bring cakes to a place actually! As regards this elusive "restricting consumption", perhaps we were not informed that there was a minimum order? Did we miss something? And then come on, heat up some "unknown content" which was nothing more than water for the baby's bottle? If you can't bring it into the kitchen, at least suggest bringing some hot water from the coffee machine? No right? Don't waste your precious time asking questions to which you already know the answers, the restaurant was half empty regardless of us, I'm sorry, but getting an extra table together seems to have been a feat, so much so that (the girl's words), " IF SOMEONE ARRIVES, I'LL TAKE THEM BACK." Oh and I forgot! Of course, the bitter moment, the only moment in which we saw the waitress smile! Unfortunately, if you don't feel like working it's better to do something else, on the evening of the white night we called to find out if there was room, the guy on the phone said he was fully booked, but, coincidentally, passing in front of the THREE TABLES OCCUPIED restaurant, Maybe only you see all these customers! I repeat, the food is good but the service was also good until some time ago, your experience should make you understand that a good dish is not enough to make people come back, you need a smile, an extra thought to meet the customer's needs even when we don't feel like it, don't make people worry about being there at that moment and having chosen your venue. And then, tell customers to leave? But where are the three stars?😅 —————————— Service completely to be reviewed, waitress annoyed to the max, we didn't see her smile half a time, every little request was rejected with a lot of rudeness, even the simplest ones like adding a table (with the place half empty), heating the water in the baby bottle or a simple variation on a dish. Plus, as if that wasn't enough, we were also told to hurry up and leave. I'm sorry because the food is fantastic and we have been loyal customers for years now but if you decide to work in contact with the public you have to know how to do it, smile, be polite and if some requests cannot be satisfied there is a way and way to say so , otherwise I recommend working in a factory.

14/08/2024: Nice place on the hill, it was 3 degrees cooler than in Tortona. Ate pizza and agnolotti both very good. Very kind and prepared waiters. Tables a little closer together to make full use of the space.
