05/10/2025: The best tagliolini with mushrooms I've ever eaten are here.

12/09/2025: We had lunch on a Sunday, and it was indeed packed. The menu featured delicious mushroom dishes, but also much more. The service was quick and cheerful; even though it was the second sitting, the owners were cheerful and lively. A truly excellent experience.

15/09/2025: We went there with our Basset Hound for a get-together with the other dogs in our litter. It's a gorgeous place nestled in the woods. The owners are very kind and the food is excellent. We'll definitely be back.

13/08/2025: A traumatic experience due to the potholed dirt access road. Single room with bathroom downstairs, rickety wooden stairs. This is not a place for those who appreciate comfort, but for adventurers seeking comfort.

13/10/2025: The owner is very friendly, and the dishes are well-prepared with attention to seasonal ingredients. Excellent service and reasonable prices. I would also suggest installing warm light bulbs in the second dining room to create an equally welcoming atmosphere.

27/07/2025: A lovely place to stop for a glass of good wine and a selection of excellent cured meats and cheeses. There are tables both inside and outside, and downstairs is a beautiful wine cellar. The service is attentive and sometimes humorous. I recommend you visit.

13/10/2025: A typical restaurant in the center of Ovada. The blackboard with the daily specials highlights a "nonexistent" pasta with porcini mushrooms. We therefore live on a cacio, pepe, and figs. Good but definitely too sweet. The fried mushrooms and dessert are excellent. The service is a bit "clumsy," but the staff are very young and inexperienced... so there's plenty of room for improvement. Fair prices. Definitely worth a try.

03/10/2025: In the center of the beautiful village of Ovada, this restaurant presents itself very well. Attentive and punctual service. Very refined atmosphere. The food was excellent; it was a business lunch, yet nothing was missing. Truly, congratulations.

29/09/2025: This restaurant nestled in the Piedmont countryside is expertly managed by the owner. Excellent ingredients, and the apple risotto alone is worth the trip.

29/09/2025: A trattoria in a secluded and charming corner of Monferrato, run by two charming sisters. You'll feel like you're having Sunday lunch at your mother's house. Simple and tasty cuisine, generous portions, and a warm welcome.

15/09/2025: A great place to sit down for lunch, as we did. You eat together at a large table and eat whatever's on the menu that day. For just over ten euros, you get a plate of pasta with a salad and a cup of coffee. The address takes you to number 1, at the bottom of the hill. Just keep driving and you'll find it. Highly recommended!

07/09/2025: The absolute highlights are the location, truly immersed in nature, and the helpfulness and kindness of the hosts. We stayed for a weekend, enjoying breakfast and dinner there. Simple dishes with good-quality homemade products at a fair price. Very simple rooms but with everything you need. The only downside is the slow internet connection, which isn't available in the various rooms, but the views make up for it.

05/09/2025: We had a wonderful short stay. Everything was perfect and to our complete satisfaction. Special mention goes to the friendliness of the entire family, the service, and the property's wonderful, large garden. We would gladly return if we have the opportunity.

03/10/2025: This was one of my most confusing restaurant visits ever. Everything was constantly changing – everything from excellent to disappointing. The pizza was really good, nothing to complain about. The concept of as much pizza as you can eat for only €20 is really good and worth it. The pasta dishes, however, were only mediocre, and a meat dish we ordered was unfortunately a complete disaster. The service was also somewhat up and down: At first, the waitress was quite unfriendly and rude, but later on, they became really nice, funny, and personable. So, overall, it was a very mixed impression – neither really bad nor really good.

18/09/2025: We happened upon it by chance, at an inappropriate hour for lunch, and were greeted warmly. And we ate very well.

10/09/2025: A truly delightful discovery! The trofie with pesto was delicious, with an authentic, fresh flavor. The vegetables were perfectly cooked, flavorful, and light. And the tiramisu... simply spectacular, one of the best I've ever tasted! Attentive and friendly service, a welcoming atmosphere.

Sandwiches with typical flavors and mostly local pairings. Eating here is a real treat. Lastly, the price is really reasonable considering what they served us. Excellent value for money. A truly pleasant place to visit, even just for an aperitif. Recommended 👍🏻
