A fantastic experience. High-quality food, all fresh, all local. Reasonable prices. Great service. You can tell...they love what they do. Highly recommended. It's located a bit off the main road, up the hill. The road is winding, but good. Unassuming from the outside. But definitely go inside! It's worth it.

Last year, we ended up at Tuais. We found it such a wonderful experience, and my partner and I said to each other that we had to go back someday. Well, that "someday" has already become a year later. At the table, the owner explains which dishes you can choose from. Everything is delicious and freshly made. Highly recommended for a meal; it is so flavorful. And the service is amazing too! We will definitely be back! Thanks again for the flavorful evening.

Let's start with the location: spectacular, period. Nestled in the hills, it's an oasis of peace. The spectacular wine and the owner's presence enhanced one of the best meals I've had in the last 10 years: authentic, healthy food, strictly homemade, made with skill and love. A special mention for me (not that the rest was less) goes to the zucchini and mustard chicken appetizers, and then, in pole position, the homemade agnolotti, so delicious I can still salivate just thinking about it. My biker friends and I are grateful for this experience and will definitely be back on our next trip, because a place like this definitely deserves recognition.

We stumbled upon this place by chance! The food was amazing, the owner was very kind... he welcomed us even though it was late! Top food! A truly lovely place to go for a meal and have a great time! Fabulous tajarin and duck 😱😱😍

While the culinary quality in Monferrato is generally high, Tuais stands out. At the start of the dinner, we were immediately delighted by a dish offered by the chef, featuring wild hop focaccia, local salami, and purple potato chips from Aosta. We then moved on to the appetizers. On one side, one of the Fassona tartare dishes, which my companion said was the best I'd tried in the area. On the other, my choice of the cockerel salad with pears and celery; a dish that, due to the presence of two ingredients I find repulsive—mustard and vinegar—had immediately intimidated me, only to be promptly amazed by the delicate way the grainy mustard and Grignolino vinegar balanced the flavor of the tender cockerel. We then moved on to the main course, both of us convinced by the suckling pig with cherries marinated in ratafia. An interesting combination that combined umami and sweet and sour flavors without overpowering the flavor of the cut of meat, similar to loin. A glass of good Grignolino accompanied everything. For dessert, we chose the nougat semifreddo and the hazelnut cake with chocolate mousse, which did not disappoint. The staff was immediately welcoming, with that informality that not everyone appreciates, but which often leads to the best places to eat. Intolerances and allergies were asked for right away and were strictly respected, with alternatives offered on the spot. Throughout the dinner, we were looked after with discretion and great professionalism. What struck us most was the bill, lower than we expected and lower than most restaurants in the area. Therefore, the quality/price ratio was excellent, even surprising. We left extremely satisfied and will definitely return the next time we pass through Monferrato.
