I am now of an age and life has given me the opportunity to taste good or excellent, but also terrible, food around Europe and then the world. Here give yourself a gift. Try what you can cook with genuine and simple products, united together in a riot of colours, aromas and flavours. It's true, it's not a trattoria, synonymous with abundant dishes (anyway here they aren't empty, on the contrary) and honest food but without shocks. There's no need for me to say whether this or that is better, excellent or other fashionable adjectives. Try it, try it because you are in a bucolic setting, and with preparations like this, which blend well with the surrounding environment, you will feel an integral part of the territory. The expense is adequate for the preparations but well below 1/2/3 star. Yes, star like the game. The stars are in the sky, but someone, out of his kindness, gives them to the restaurateurs. One last necessary and important piece of information: if unfortunately you travel in a wheelchair there is no way to go up other than the flight of stairs. P.s. There's plenty of wine to choose from, whether you're looking for Californian, Chilean, South African, etc. go there they go well with the foods of those territories.

09/03/2025: For goodness sake! I don't like leaving reviews... but I have rarely found such a lack of attentive service and an almost tasteless quality of pizza. Furthermore, order requested as it was forgotten. Not an evening? Too many people? Well...I don't know....cash staff not accustomed to smiling, it's free and it's good)....almost annoyed when paying the bill...certainly the experience won't be repeated.

02/03/2025: Place that lived up to expectations! Friendly staff, super welcoming atmosphere, home cooking with tasty and genuine dishes. Judging by the appearance and taste of the preparations, I am sure that the ingredients are all fresh and of excellent quality. Absolutely recommended. For those leaving from far away: it's worth the trip!

28/02/2025: I finally managed to go to this restaurant. Attention to detail, welcoming, service of a kindness and simplicity that perhaps you are no longer accustomed to, but above all the Vegan, organic, sustainable and delicious choice. The Carbo-rava is an explosion, not to mention the tiramisu, the arancini and much more. Embarrassed to choose with taste and goodness.

27/02/2025: Sunday lunch at the restaurant for 4. Excellent service, appetizer menu + 1 dish (first or second), barbera and water included, €38 each. Then dessert and coffee. Starters: mixed cold cuts, carpaccio, veal with tuna sauce, cotechino, vegetable flan, peppers in bagna cauda. Encore of first courses risotto with artichokes, and agnolotti with braised meat sauce. 2 seconds of mixed fried food. Then semifreddo and coffee. Capello's Barbera 14° is good. We will be back.

13/01/2025: Excellent restaurant with a menu dedicated to Monferrato products and its wines. Very courteous and affable, the managers very welcoming and helpful. Very nice and clean rooms, very polite and friendly staff. I recommend a Monferrato for those who want to stay in a corner of peace and tranquility. Fantastic location

04/03/2025: Simply perfect: the welcome, the room, the cleanliness of all the rooms and the excellent dinner, the ravioli al plin are the best I've ever eaten... poor telephone connection? A plus! And for those who are nostalgic for social media, the wifi is free and stable. Goodbye guys! PS the jam tart is unsurpassed!

21/02/2025: Inconvenient to get there. Dirty rooms. (I won't put the photo of bedbugs, spiders, dust and cobwebs behind the curtain and table to save you from disgust). Wifi doesn't reach the room (only in the restaurant) and it doesn't even reach the phone. But if you don't need anything else and you just have to eat and drink, here's the menu

19/02/2025: Siamo stati qui per pranzo con i cugini per festeggiare San Valentino e come sempre ci siamo trovati benissimo sia come servizio che cibo che location!!!

25/01/2025: Era già di alto livello qualche anno fa, ma ora è quasi la perfezione; si deve ascoltare la spiegazione dei piatti, per capire la qualità dei prodotti, nessun alimento è lasciato al caso: la verdura di stagione, i primi eccezionali, la carne o il pesce di alta qualità (significa senza "additivi"... che è rarissimo nei cibi), formaggi e salumi ricercati, tutto del territorio e sapientemente cucinato; c'è tantissimo lavoro dietro e sicuramente tanto amore e rispetto per il cliente. Il mio preferito.

16/02/2025: Posto carino e cibo discreto, vino della casa pessimo, tutto sicuramente migliorabile ma d'altronde non si trova molto altro nel Monferrato Casalese

02/03/2025: Buon ristorante, tra i migliori della non facile Val Curone, gente educata che si prodiga per mettere il cliente a proprio agio. Menù della tradizione completo, rivisitato negli antipasti multi-assaggi gourmet secondo un prevalente filone di mercato del momento. Qualcosa da dire sui formaggi che non dovrebbero essere miscelati tra varie zone d'Italia ma per coerenza uniformi su base montanara o piemontese e poi abbinate ai 4 mieli e non un solo....ma si tratta di dettagli da migliorare. Ed è questa la sensazione: esistono buone prospettive di crescita ulteriore, serve qualche miglioramento sia generale che specifico gastronomico e poi si arriva in alto (oggi il pubblico consumatore chiede concretezza, qualità reale e percepibile e non le effimere complicatezze fino a sè stesse che hanno poi segnato la grande crisi dei tanti ristoranti stellati ma non concreti....Osterie di lusso che poi vedranno lo stesso cliente medio-alto). Buona l'offerta dei vini del territorio e piemontesi.

08/01/2025: Romantic dinner with my husband for my first 40 years, I couldn't have chosen a better place and service. Quiet environment, courteous, helpful and reserved service. Table, carefully created especially for us, very cute. Excellent dishes, from appetizers to dessert. Congratulations to Cristiana and all the staff! I recommend it
