11/04/2026: I'm writing this review based on my own, very personal, experience, which unfortunately wasn't positive. In the dining room with us was a group of young people, well over 18, who were rowdy and extremely rude. This is certainly not the owners' fault, but they did absolutely nothing to moderate or limit the situation, despite my complaints. Loud noise, shouting, and swearing in a restaurant (not a stadium), especially with other people present, are, in my opinion, absolutely unacceptable. I have no complaints about the service or the courtesy of the girls who served us, and the interior of the restaurant is very nice. The food was decent, I'd say; the vitello tonnato didn't taste like vitello tonnato, and the potatoes on the side were practically inedible. I didn't order a starter, but none of my friends had any negative comments. The raw beef and the Russian salad were very good. The cold cuts for the appetizer weren't exceptional either, so overall I'd rate it 3 stars, based on my personal experience, of course. Prices were more or less average for local restaurants, but perhaps a bit too high for the quality.

06/04/2026: Trattoria-style dishes, typical fare. The pasta and especially the pesto could be improved. The vitello tonnato is excellent: thin and well-cooked; the sauce is delicate and just the right amount. The service is friendly but a bit sketchy (like almost everywhere these days). There's no wine list. It's located in a narrow alley. The place is charming, if a bit dark. Good prices.

20/04/2026: Winery tour with tasting and lunch at Cà Sebastiano. Excellent experience, service, and friendly staff. The winery tour was excellent, professional, and pleasant. The tasting took place in the family room, very characteristic and well-executed. We purchased some wines and were also allowed to taste other wines that hadn't been tasted. The bistro is very beautiful, both inside and out. We didn't stop there for lunch because we had a package with lunch at the main restaurant, but we will definitely be back to try their cuisine. Lunch at the main restaurant was perfect. The vitello tonnato was truly exceptional, a sauce made according to the old-fashioned mastery, without mayonnaise. Capers in various textures. We really enjoyed it. My husband is celiac, and we found great attention to this, and the staff were very friendly and helpful, even with our daughter. I highly recommend it.

15/04/2026: We came here thanks to a smart box, but it was a constant surprise. Everything was beautiful. The location is romantic and relaxing, with an ancient feel. The restaurant is also impressive, with refined and delicious dishes. The daily wine tasting is a real treat. As mentioned, we came here for a smart box for wine therapy and spa. It was an incredible experience, starting with wine therapy, a 40-minute bath in a tub of must, hot water, and a whirlpool. Here, you were also pampered with two glasses of Moscato and biscuits. We rounded out our experience with a couples massage. Kudos to Monica and Debora for making us relax. Bravo! Last but not least, thank you for welcoming our big dog, who is allowed in all areas of the facility. We'll be back again to relax.

22/02/2026: The best farinata in Ovada, and the best cheese focaccia I've ever had! The service was friendly and fast.

27/10/2025: Fabulous farinata. I suggest they adjust the opening hours, because the sign says 10:30, but it's usually closed before 11:30. More importantly, if you're visiting from out of town and look up the hours on Google, you might find the place closed. That said, I reiterate that the farinata is fabulous.

16/04/2026: The place is beautiful, the appetizers for the price they have are poor, the pizza nothing special, mixed fried food nothing, the service is a disaster as soon as we arrived with a reservation on the floor below they tell us the upper room, even if we have elderly people with leg problems together, solved by giving us a seat downstairs, we don't even have time to give the menus that were already there for the order we say to wait a moment and it turns into a good 15/20 minutes then the DISASTER ARRIVES THE FIRST HOT APPETIZER I WAIT FOR MY COLD CHICKEN BOARD OF SALAMI AND NOTHING, IN THE END THE PIZZAS ARRIVE AFTER MORE THAN 30 MINUTES, TOGETHER WITH MY MIXED FRI ...

15/04/2026: Excellent restaurant with good prices considering the quality... varied menu and location also suitable for weddings, confirmations, etc. etc.

22/03/2026: This restaurant has seen decidedly better times; you can tell from the ambience that it used to be very busy. Designed for events and large seating, it's now somewhat declining, though this doesn't take anything away from its excellent cuisine and excellent value for money. It's still a place to recommend to gourmets.

24/11/2025: Very nice, warm family place. A place where they cook game that was hunted in the nearby forests. A very simple hotel, not luxury, but you don't need anything more to get away from it all! If you don't know where to stay, go here!

07/04/2026: Excellent pizza. The atmosphere, though 1980s-inspired, is a bit unwelcoming. But the pizza is worth a stop.
