Ristorante Boccadoro In Ponzano monferrato

Aperitivo at Boccadoro. We know the place but didn't know this option existed, so since we were in town for a party, we went to say hello at 6 pm. Since it was a lovely evening, we sat down and ordered a bottle. Along with the bottle, we ordered a charcuterie board (excellent, especially the cooked salami), then Russian salad arrived, and the chef came to pick some sage, which ended up first in the pan and then on our plates—an infinite delight. Fried artichokes, bruschetta, a taste of risotto, and basil sorbet. Meanwhile, the bottles had increased to 3 (there were 8 of us). Don't call it an apericena because there's no such thing as an apericena! Let's call it Venetian style: Aperitivo with cicchetti. We'll be back, we will!

Friday, May 1st, with friends, the place was packed inside and out (in the beautiful garden). From the vitello tonnato to the truly excellent plin, to the "moving" pork ribs. Special mention for the fried artichokes and the crostata. The friendly and attentive service, despite the crowds, is the real added value.

We returned for lunch today, again with friends and children, and it was truly wonderful to experience the same feeling as the first time. The atmosphere is always relaxed and authentic, and even with children, you immediately feel at ease. It's not easy to find a place so welcoming to everyone. The food continues to be excellent: carefully prepared, tasty, carefully crafted dishes with a distinct personality. Thanks to Alice, Riccardo, and Federico for their always natural and attentive welcome. You can truly sense the passion and care they put into what they do. A wonderful confirmation. Excellent traditional Piedmontese cuisine in an intimate restaurant in a secluded village nestled in the hills. During the warmer months, you can dine in their courtyard, a pleasant escape from reality in that quiet corner of Monferrato.

We're talking about a great feast with friends from PONZANO MONFERRATO... I recommend this place.

This historic, family-run restaurant serves well-executed traditional Venetian cuisine and high-quality seasonal dishes, from rustic bigoli to cod with polenta, or the famous Galina Imbriaga (chicken cooked in red wine). The ingredients are carefully selected and the dishes are beautifully presented, with balanced portions and authentic flavors that reflect local tradition.
