A traditional restaurant with a welcoming atmosphere that retains the feel of a historic establishment. The staff are very kind and attentive, and the dishes are carefully prepared and we thoroughly enjoyed them. The first and second courses in the photos are half portions (we shared the dishes with my girlfriend, and they were very kind to bring us the half portions directly!). Special mention goes to the red onion tarte tatin and the hazelnut cake.

A restaurant serving traditional local cuisine with a variety of options (they also offer seafood). A very convenient location for a pre- or post-dinner stroll through the city center! I was extremely pleased with the sophisticated and slightly unusual dishes, which I highly recommend: the smoked goose breast appetizer and the seared duck in Sauternes. Special mention goes to the quality of the Fassona tartare served as an appetizer. A pleasant discovery for an evening of authentic flavors!

Excellent food. The taiarin with Bra sausage ragù was spectacular, as was the chocolate dessert with pears in Barolo (I rarely go crazy for dessert). Impeccable service; everyone was friendly and helpful. The atmosphere was well-kept and a bit retro. In short, everything was perfect.

Excellent inn, good and well-prepared food Super good tasting menu

A traditional restaurant just steps from the main square in the historic center of Casale Monferrato. A charming, quaint atmosphere invites you in. The menu is quite extensive, with options ranging from à la carte to several tasting menus. Two of us opted for the latter, while the ladies tried other dishes. All the dishes were truly excellent, plentiful, and beautifully presented. Unfortunately, the service was subpar; after more than a half-hour of waiting, we had to call someone to order, even though two tables who arrived after us had already done so. Furthermore, the waiters moved around the tables agitatedly, especially one man in shorts with large pockets, who looked visibly nervous and inappropriately dressed. Nevertheless, we ate very well, with a more than fair bill.

An unexpected encounter in Casale Monferrato: a historic establishment with knowledgeable and very helpful young waiters. Delicious food in a calm and relaxing atmosphere. A truly pleasant surprise. Thank you.

The food was excellent, the service very friendly and quick. The menu is highly recommended and offers good value for money. My absolute favorite was the vitello tonnato.
