25/03/2024: I don't usually give negative reviews, because at most I don't go anymore. But after yet another rude treatment from the owners (especially the lady), it seemed right to leave a review. I often get take-away farinata, because it's very good, but every time I receive a treatment that is not normal for those who work in the restaurant industry. Not only do they not even greet you when you enter, but yesterday the lady responded to me rudely and angrily just because I asked a question. Luckily the farinata is good... but they make you stop cravings.

14/03/2024: Viviamo in un paese meraviglioso e La Curia ne è la prova, ho trascorso una serata meravigliosa in questo intimo ristorante iniziando con antipasto di macinato con sapori e “formaggio slurp” per poi buttarmi su Fassona con patata dolce e una pioggia di tartufo (e che ve lo dico a fare), dolce a base di torrone realizzato da un ultra 90enne della zona (il migliore) e prima di uscite mi hanno servito un assaggio dei formaggi più saporiti a cui do un 11 e lode 👍🏼, vini tel territorio compreso un passito tra i migliori da me assaggiati e in tutto questo aggiungiamo il proprietario Massimo che mi spiega quel che sto mangiando e bevendo…un’esperienza!

Sapete, quando si dice" voglio una vita piena di prime volte " . Se volete questo dovete assolutamente conoscere Max. Questa anima la riconcereste fra cento. Ve lo assicuro! È portavoce della passione, dell' accoglienza, della dedizione. Dei sensi. Max è luogo di esperienza, di dialogo, di riconoscimento e di condivisione. Mescola il vino ed il cibo con gli altri sensi. Lui non ti porta un semplice piatto, lui si siede a tavola con te. Si occupa dei tuoi desideri per il tempo che tu desideri. Finestre abbassate, portoni chiusi, tovaglie Bianche. Una candela, il silenzio scandito dal suono di una tromba. Quasi ci si domanda: "starà aspettando qualcuno? " Credo di sì. "Ospiti di cui non ci si debba accontentare" ( bella citazione!) Ancora una volta grazie.

30/01/2024: The place is truly enchanting, the dishes are good but without the WOW effect, the service is good and attentive. The waiting times are a bit long and the wine list is a bit sparse even with the off-list options. The cost is correctly proportionate to what is proposed. All in all I would happily go back, despite the less than optimal acoustics.

30/01/2024: Il posto è veramente incantevole, i piatti buoni ma senza effetto WOW, buono e attento il servizio. Un po' lunghi i tempi di attesa e la carta dei vini è un po' scarna anche con le proposte fuori carta. Il costo è correttamente proporzionato a quanto proposto. Tutto sommato ci tornerei volentieri, nonostante l'acustica non ottimale.

07/04/2024: Cozy and friendly place slightly off-centre from the centre. We opted for a burger and a pizza. Excellent hamburger, plentiful and with really tasty ingredients. The freshly made bread is truly a gem. The pizza, however, was below expectations... The service, despite some inattention, was friendly and pleasant. Super value for money for these times with absolutely good prices.

27/02/2024: Nelle vicinanze della splendida chiesa dell'Addolorata si trova questa storica osteria oggi solo più dedita alla ristorazione, ma un tempo anche albergo e stallaggio per gli animali. La sala da pranzo, che si affaccia su un piccolo spazio dove in estate sono sistemati i tavoli all'aperto, è ospitale e arredata con gusto, con un'atmosfera che mette subito di buon umore. Ad accogliervi troverete Eugenio Nani , ottimo sommelier, e Piercarlo Roso il farinotto del locale. La cucina è del territorio con alcune divagazioni giustificate dal fatto che Acqui è terra di confine con la Liguria. Paola Asinari in cucina è la regina dei dolci, tutti da provare. La farinata, piatto iconico della zona, è superlativa accompagnata da un bel bicchiere di vino bianco , un cortese. Acciughe fritte, ravioli al pin stoccafisso all'Acquese, sono altri piatti che troverete sempre disponibili.
