30/05/2025: I had dinner two nights with my wife at this restaurant, chosen for its proximity to our hotel and for the reviews. Our experience was very positive. Despite the distance from the sea we opted for fish-based menus both times. The quality of the dishes was fully satisfactory, the raw materials were generally very good and the cooking excellent. A note of merit for the staff, attentive but not intrusive, who guided us in our choices with advice that turned out to be absolutely spot on. The environment is well-kept and impeccably clean and tidy; the only slight flaw was, on the second evening, the close presence of a very noisy table, but customer education is certainly not the restaurant's responsibility. The price, around 40 euros per person, was certainly adequate for the courses we chose: by ordering something else you can spend less. Ultimately I definitely recommend it.

22/05/2025: We ate some excellent first courses, I particularly loved the scialatielli with clams and pachino tomatoes, the best fried anchovies I have ever eaten and the staff is super polite and available for suggestions. Excellent desserts

22/05/2025: On Saturday, May 17, my BMW Boxer Cup suddenly broke down; when I turned on the instrument panel, it showed no signs of life, as if the battery had shorted. Not knowing what to do, I turned to the Quinzi Moto dealership, which promptly sent me a van, getting me out of trouble. Subsequently, the garage of the same dealership resolved the fault promptly and professionally, avoiding charging me the cost of recovery. I would like to thank everyone, including the manager, Mr. Gianluca Quinzi, who is always attentive to customer needs.

31/05/2025: This is a place where pistachio gnocchi is really delicious. It's just the right amount of saltiness, rich, and has a subtle truffle flavor. The carbonara is too salty for Korean standards and has a strong smell. Before going to Banyorezzo, be sure to stop by and try the gnocchi. There's also a bathroom. The gnocchi is the best gnocchi in life.

29/05/2025: Eravamo di passaggio a Bagnoregio e ci siamo fermati a pranzo. Piacevole scoperta positiva! Abbiamo mangiato molto bene. Consiglio di provare le tagliatelle con ragù bianco (nel menu c’erano i carciofi ma oggi non erano disponibili e mi hanno proposto al loro posto gli spinaci ed erano buonissimi!) Il ragazzo in sala gentilissimo! Torneremo sicuramente! Grazie

19/05/2025: Capitati per caso in uscita da Sutri verso Roma, siamo stati accolti dalla simpatia della proprietaria che ci ha consigliato in modo appropriato guidandoci alla scoperta delle sue eccellenze culinarie. Antipasti con fritture di verdure in tempura e pizzetta col prosciutto che ti predispongono bene al proseguimento. Tris di primi con pasta fatta in casa, deliziosi (menzione speciale per il ragù di funghi e i tagliolini cotti nel vino bianco). Infine verdure romane di tradizione (carciofi, cicoria) e zucchine grigliate particolari, veramente da provare. Staff preciso e cordiale. Dolci casalinghi, ma buonissimi. Prezzi convenienti

12/05/2025: Excellent food and wine! The service was a bit slow but we were a big table with 15 people so all was forgiven once the food was served. Highly recommend the pasta with truffles, one of the best we have ever had. The extensive wine celler very impressive!! Would definitely return if we are in the area again.

26/05/2025: In visita a Calcata siamo stati a pranzo in questo ristorante con le famiglie e ci siamo trovati magicamente. Il locale molto ben curato si trova proprio all’inizio del borgo antico e offre sistemazioni sia all’interno che all’esterno. Noi siamo stati fatti accomodare in una saletta interna molto bella e riservata. Il menù è vario e ricco di piatti interessanti, ogni portata è stata ottima. Molto buona anche la scelta dei vini, la proprietaria è di una gentilezza e cortesia uniche. Tornerei a Calcata solo per questo ristorante. Consigliatissimo

We booked the day before to be sure of finding a place and it is advisable to do so because, if you want to eat inside, the restaurant has two small but very intimate rooms. Normal waiting times and pleasant staff. Good quality food and fair prices. However, if you really want to make an observation, I would suggest increasing the portions which are at the minimum limit.

A partly innovative menu but with a traditional look, proposed with care and high professionalism. We will definitely return: the excuse is to visit Calcata, the truth is to return to Caraponzolo.
