14/05/2026: Kind and welcoming, excellent accommodation on the way to Rome. I had a great time and thank you for your hospitality. The rooms, breakfast, and location were excellent. I didn't try the restaurant because it's closed on Mondays. Congratulations!
29/03/2026: A local favorite, offering classic cuisine with a contemporary twist. Now a regular stop when we're in the area, Catia, Alfredo, and Linda are the pillars of a well-oiled establishment that never disappoints.

24/05/2026: Today, I and some friends did the same.
Torre Alfina Castle was very beautiful, and lunch was at Capannaccia da Ciccio.
Very good dishes and fast service. The wild boar in salsa verde was definitely the most popular, but overall, we had a great time.
Ciccio is a true professional and manages all his customers very well.
You feel at home, eating in a farmhouse in the middle of the countryside.

03/03/2026: Centrally located, clean rooms with everything you need! I had dinner at their restaurant and had a wonderful pizza and other dishes! The staff were very welcoming, and the owners are very nice and kind and make you feel right at home! Thank you for everything!
07/02/2026: Excellent restaurant with good value. I recommend the very delicate wild boar in the homemade tagliolini. The lamb is excellent. Parking is a stone's throw away in the center.

21/04/2026: Apparently, the chain has moved from Piazza G. Fabrizio 13 to number 14. Two portions of tagliatelle in a cardboard box + coppertos! €23. Lukewarm. I've been traveling in Italy for many years, and this was the worst rip-off ever—and not in Venice, but in sleepy Aquapendente.

11/04/2026: Easter Monday lunch with friends. Menu: sliced cheesecake, capocollo, fridge-cold hard-boiled egg with two sauces, pici with herb pesto, mixed roast, citrus sorbet. Drinks and coffee not included, €39. I got all-you-can-eat cheesecake, a slice of capocollo, no egg. The pici were bland; the pesto had tons of blended parsley. The roast included chicken wings (undercooked because they arrived raw), breast, and pieces of steak. The sorbet was a safe bet, and was very good.
05/04/2026: We discovered Pulicaro on Ecobnb and decided to book an Easter stay at this agriturismo, impressed by their values and philosophy. Everything lived up to our expectations! Pulicaro is a beautiful stone farmhouse managed with care and love by Chiara, Marco, and all the staff. It's an ideal place to stay, recharge, and sample traditional local cuisine, often made with products from their farm!
The agriturismo's location is also on the border between Lazio, Umbria, and Tuscany. It's a great base for exploring Tuscia.
Excellent value for money!
A wonderful experience, highly recommended.

02/06/2026: We booked for two nights, but after the first, we ran away due to the unbearable smell of mold and dampness that lingered in the room, if you can call it that. Room 9 is a small building nestled among the vegetation, far from the main building. It has a glass entrance covered from the inside by curtains (it feels like sleeping in a shop window!), no bidet, and is very run-down. The owner offered us a room change, but we preferred to leave after finding a room in another hotel in the village. A terrible experience.
Update June 2, 2026: After reading the owner's response to my review, I don't think anything else needs to be added. Miserable people show up on their own. I think there's nothing more to add other than to urge potential guests to verify my claims. Be careful!
01/06/2026: A farmhouse tucked away in the greenery, surrounded by nature, far from traffic. A comfortable, relaxing atmosphere, with a simplicity that relaxes you. Simple, comfortable rooms, a truly beautiful garden and pool with plenty of loungers. A convenient location in Upper Tuscia, close to the Tuscan Maremma and the Orvieto area of Umbria. Abundant breakfast, homemade products...one dessert more delicious than the next. The half-board dinner was also excellent, and the wine selection was excellent. In our experience, it was the first place where they were truly attentive to offering delicious, varied, homemade options for lactose-free meals and breakfasts. Our only suggestion: be careful where the road leading to the farmhouse begins, as it's a bit hidden, even though it starts in the center after the church and near a supermarket. All the staff were welcoming, friendly, and helpful... it was a wonderful vacation, and we hope to return soon.

19/05/2025: Abbiamo pranzato in questo locale, in occasione del raduno del nostro club, e di solito quando arrivano 50/60 persone in un ristorante tutte insieme, spesso se non si è bravi, si scatena il panico, e la più bella delle gite si può trasformare in un incubo. Invece ieri è stato tutto perfetto, con una lode ai primi e ai secondi, ottima anche la zuppa inglese. Poi complimenti alla proprietaria che è stata sempre disponibile a soddisfare le esigenze più disparate (bambini e/o intolleranze). Notevole anche la mise en place, rara nei raduni. Spero di ritornarci al più presto con la mia signora.
24/04/2025: Se dovessi ripassare in zona mi piacerebbe tornarci, perché è stata veramente una bella scoperta: dopo la visita al castello abbiamo pranzato qui, e vi posso assicurare che oggigiorno (in un'epoca in cui tutti si sono magicamente scoperti degustatori stellati) non è affatto facile lasciare soddisfatta una comitiva di ben 25 persone. Fortunatamente noi siamo tutte persone dai gusti semplici, che preferiscono tutta la vita i posti come questo ai ristorantoni gourmet, ma il fatto che siano rimasti tutti, senza eccezione, entusiasti, vuol dire che questa gente sa fare il suo mestiere, in tutti i sensi. Assolutamente strepitose le tagliatelle al ragù di cinghiale, da provare. Ottimo anche il maialino con contorno di patate. Buoni anche gli antipasti. Prezzi assolutamente corretti, vista e considerata la quantità e la qualità delle pietanze. Consigliato anche per i celiaci, vista la presenza di opzioni senza glutine, come la pizza.
