26/04/2026: In 40 years, I've never eaten a pizza so overcooked and tough, and the first serving was even cold. Everything you can't do with a pizza...this is it. The service was attentive, with a few minor distractions. I definitely won't be returning.
24/04/2026: REALLY EXCELLENT. Nothing to say, excellent staff, very friendly PG, excellent value for money, as a starter I recommend the very good carellata with octopus and very good mussels, I have never eaten such good mussels, I highly recommend it

07/02/2026: I had a cured meats and cheese appetizer, which was very good.
The roast suckling pig was excellent, as were the baked potatoes.
The wait staff was quick, attentive, and very courteous.

We came here for an aperitif, and despite the short time, they conveyed their evident passion for the world of wine and food.
Highly recommended!!!

03/07/2026: AVOID Dodgy place! Food way below average then received the bill which was 60 euros, the waiter came over with his card machine and 90 euros to pay!!! We questioned this and he didn’t know. The owner was hoping to make extra money from us. Not on our watch!!!
29/05/2026: I've known "Lido dei Pioppi" since the 1960s, having owned a villa nearby.
The professionalism of the owners and staff is renowned throughout the area. The quality of the food and wine selection has never wavered in these more than 60 years. The environment, both inside and out, has always been meticulously maintained, both in terms of cleanliness and customer comfort. I highly recommend a visit and guarantee a top-notch service.

26/06/2026: In my opinion, this is an excellent restaurant serving fish and grilled meat with porcini mushrooms. The owner is very friendly and helpful. The view is stunning, right on Lake Vico. The tagliolini with lake aromas are excellent. We'll definitely be back!

27/05/2025: Lunedì a pranzo ritornando verso casa ci siamo fermati a mangiare in questo ristorante in riva al lago di Vico ed è stata una scelta davvero felice come dal nome.
Iniziato dividendo un buonissimo filetto di persico marinato al pepe rosa; continuato condividendo dei gustosi tortorelli al ragù di coregone e degli squisiti ravioli di lago con persico e coregone; concluso con un ottimo coregone arrosto con salsa verde. Perfetto il vino proposto in abbinamento dalla bravaa e professionale ragazza che ci ha servito.
Carina la location direttamente sul lago, conduzione familiare con cortesia e simpatia. Perfetto rapporto qualità-prezzo. Consigliato

02/03/2025: Abbiamo pranzato qui in un sabato capranichese piovoso ed è stata una piacevole scoperta; porzioni di primi e prezzi onesti; buone carbonara e trofie con verdure; anche i contorni sono ben cucinati. Ottime le ciambelline al vino come dessert. La cucina è casereccia e il proprietario simpatico e gentile. Consigliato.
17/11/2024: Esperienza negativa. Lunga attesa per la pizza e non solo. Abbiamo effettuato il pagamento alla cassa e una volta andati via quando eravamo ormai praticamente tornati a casa, ci siamo accorti che il proprietario del locale ci ha inserito nel conto ben oltre 20 euro di vino. Chiamiamo il locale e ripercorriamo mezz'ora di macchina per tornare. Al momento del pagamento il locale era pressoché vuoto e le comande sono segnate digitalmente; inoltre al momento del ritorno al locale non ci viene chiesto dal proprietario nemmeno lo scontrino per controllare. Il tutto fa pensare che non si sia trattato di un semplice errore.
Cibo buono e locale nella norma ma questo non può che passare in secondo piano.
