01/03/2026: We had a great time. The place was cozy and quiet. There was plenty of space between tables, so reservations are required. The food was very good and local. The girl taking our orders was very nice. Excellent value for money.

02/02/2026: Appetizer served on a meter-long board filled with excellent cured meats and cheeses. For starters we had a plate of ombrichello and two of orecchiette with artichoke sauce and pecorino romano. Fresh handmade pasta was delicious and plentiful, and the second course was a sample of baked potatoes that were spectacular in their presentation. Finally, we finished the meal with dessert... babà with cream and the golosone (similar to tiramisu). The host is attentive to the customer, as is the girl who serves the tables. Prices are very fair. Everything was perfect, we will definitely be back. Highly recommended, as is booking if you don't want to find yourself without a seat.

21/03/2026: Everything was truly excellent! We ate wonderfully, the atmosphere was calm and welcoming, and the waitress was very kind and knowledgeable! The fried artichokes were delicious, as were the polenta with porcini mushrooms and chicory meatballs (a surprise!), and then the pappardelle with wild boar... what can I say, I'd gladly return.

16/03/2026: The risotto was delicious, and the tiramisu had a completely different texture from what I've had in Taiwan—it was very smooth and flavorful. If I ever come to Italy again, I'll definitely visit again.

31/01/2026: A little gem overlooking the Calanchi. Very good food, spotless bathrooms, and truly friendly, unobtrusive staff. I recommend the ribollita, roast potatoes, and beans alla Bagnorese. The local wines are definitely worth trying. See you soon for dessert!

03/01/2026: For our first dinner of the day in the area, last Sunday we dined at Ciccio alla Capannaccia, a charming country trattoria located near Acquapendente and winner of an episode of Alessandro Borghese's "4 Ristoranti" in 2016. It offers a wide-ranging menu of local cuisine (including several off-menu dishes) using top-quality ingredients. The restaurant is welcoming and the service is very friendly, with the owner, Ciccio, being truly charming. After choosing our wine, an excellent Sangovese Thybris 2023 from Castello di Corbara, we began with pici carbonara with black truffle and pici "alla Ciccio" (mushrooms, sausage, wild fennel, and pecorino cheese), both delicious. We then shared a tender Mangalica pork fillet with baked potatoes. Finally, desserts included a mascarpone cream with almond brittle and a Nutella panna cotta. A water, two coffees, and two liqueurs were kindly offered, bringing the final bill to €96 for two, which is extremely reasonable. Highly recommended, and we can't wait to return!

02/01/2026: Ristorante da Ciccio in La Capannaccia is a place you absolutely must try. The welcome is incredible: it feels like family here. The menu is meticulously explained, both in detail and in its preparation. All the dishes are enticing, but in the end, unfortunately, you have to make a choice. The appetizer is delicious, the fried dishes and the trio of artichokes are amazing. The pizza, leavened for 48 hours, is a true delight for the palate. The first courses are excellent, but the meat dishes, prepared with culinary expertise, are especially worth trying. Here, you should relax and let yourself be guided in choosing quality products masterfully prepared. You don't come to Da Ciccio for the location or just to eat, but to be pampered and enjoy a pleasant and unforgettable experience. It's been 10 years since he won on Alessandro Borghese's show, but Ciccio's cuisine has steadily improved over the years and today it is considered a true Italian excellence to be enjoyed and preserved. Bravo, Ciccio, you're a genius!

05/03/2026: Passing through this tuff village rising toward the Tuscia sky, Montefiascone, a balcony overlooking the blue of Lake Bolsena, in search of a quick lunch, is a place of class. Upon entering this restaurant, you immediately realize you're in a classy place. Describing the universe of Osmosi without slipping into the banal is a challenge to the senses: here, the experience isn't limited to the plate, but transforms into a constant stimulation where the boundary between food and the senses becomes wonderfully subtle. This is thanks to the magnetic talent of chef Debora Costantini, a figure capable of infusing her creations with a fascinating enigma that enchants as much as the flavor itself. The experience is completed in the glass, where expert knowledge of wine meets attentive, yet never intrusive, listening attentively, creating a perfect harmony between knowledge and personal pleasure. The dishes I tasted exude that mystery typical of those who know how to transform raw ingredients into an almost unique experience. 06/02/2026: A truly extraordinary pizzeria! The pizza is so large that it arrives served on two plates, a spectacle just to look at. The dough is crispy, incredibly light, and incredibly digestible, thanks to a carefully selected flour mix that truly makes all the difference. But the added bonus is the staff: friendly, welcoming, and always smiling, capable of making you feel at home right away and putting you in a good mood even before the pizza arrives. A place where you eat great and leave with a full belly and a smile on your face. Highly recommended! 😄🍕

08/03/2026: We went there for lunch today on the recommendation of a local friend, so it was almost a sure thing... But it exceeded our expectations! Nice, clean atmosphere, super-smiling and friendly staff, and a wonderful owner, but the highlight is the food... We had an appetizer of lard bruschetta, never tasted so good, and delicious eggplant meatballs. For first courses, we had chestnut-filled ravioli with parmesan cream, incredibly delicate and a delicacy, and the chestnut flour maltagliati with guinea fowl ragu and hazelnuts, highly recommended and delicious! We were thrilled with the desserts: the ricotta and chestnut tart was delicious, and the warm hazelnut cake was absolutely delicious! We left the lunch delighted! We'll be back and recommend it to everyone!

05/03/2026: Wandering around Caprarola, we found this truly exceptional trattoria-pizzeria. Two of us went for lunch, and I must say the food was fabulous. The first courses were delicious, mouth-watering, not to mention the second courses, typical of the area. I approved and highly recommend it. Very friendly staff.

12/03/2026: A very unique venue nestled between the cave and the tuff rock, very welcoming and with a very pleasant furnishing style, you dine in a lovely tranquil atmosphere with light background music that cheers up the evening, gourmet dishes of excellent quality, obviously the price is felt, but money well spent....
