17/09/2025: We visited this place almost every day during our stay in Canepina. Staff is super kind and food is great :) we’ll come back in the future!

06/09/2025: The restaurant is well-maintained and the food is excellent. We particularly enjoyed the "fieno" (hay) and mushrooms. The staff was attentive and courteous, and also good at offering tourist advice. Thanks to their recommendations, we visited the beautiful and well-stocked Museum of Popular Traditions, which was truly enjoyable.

18/09/2025: A wonderful place! The pinsa is absolutely delicious – made with fresh, high-quality ingredients. The staff is super friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere is warm and welcoming. What’s more, it’s dog-friendly, which makes it even better. Highly recommended! 🐾🍕

22/08/2025: A very pleasant surprise. In the village of Caprarola, I had the opportunity to visit Casa del Gusto two nights in a row. Both nights, everything was perfect. Generous portions. Attentive and smiling staff (which never hurts). The owner was helpful and generous with recommendations for staying in the area. The adjacent shop is also well stocked. Recommended!

31/08/2025: We passed by Sutri on a quick trip and, intrigued by the name, we stopped for lunch at this restaurant. It has a charming outdoor space and a varied menu. We opted to try two appetizers, two main courses with side dishes, and some desserts, followed by coffee and two nice glasses of wine.

28/08/2025: A very charming restaurant in a historic building in Sutri. The highlight is definitely the garden with its adjoining viewpoint. Excellent selection and overall food quality.

23/08/2025: We are a group of volunteers from the Equi Terme Ancient Crafts Association. Our stay at the Albergo Toscano was an incredible experience. The dishes were exquisitely prepared, refined, and with unique combinations of flavors and aromas—everything was truly delicious. The wine was excellent. All this in the wonderful setting of the center of Acquapendente! The staff were fantastic, both in welcoming us with a smile and in explaining the dishes to us. A big hug to all the staff, and we hope to return soon.

26/07/2025: Una splendida posizione, all'aperto in una piazzetta vicina alla piazza del Municipo. Cibo buono... accoglienza calda e servizio efficace. Erano pieni ma dopo aver fatto un giro del paese ci hanno trovato posto. C'era pure una classe di bambini delle medie ma i loro nervi erano sempre saldi... 😅

30/08/2025: I returned yesterday after a couple of years to celebrate the birthday of a dear family friend, and I can confirm the excellent food and quality of the ingredients, as well as the location (lunch on the terrace overlooking Civita), and the courtesy of the staff and managers. Personally, I found everything a bit too salty and over-seasoned, but that's because I tend to use very little salt and oil when I cook, so it's understandable. Everything was tasty, and I personally complimented the tomato bruschetta, which was well-seasoned and at room temperature rather than cold from the refrigerator. Congratulations! I'll definitely be back at the first opportunity.

27/08/2025: Excellent local cuisine. The fettuccine with fresh porcini mushrooms was truly delicious. The place is small but well-kept. We'll definitely be back.

21/08/2025: Unfortunately, we couldn't eat at the table; we were there too early. But... they immediately baked us a pizza, even though they were busy preparing it. And the pizza... was delicious 😃😋😋😋

19/08/2025: Unassuming from the outside, the pizza is absolutely delicious! Without a reservation, you won't get a seat, but the takeout was totally worth it!

18/08/2025: The language barrier was significant, but they tried their best to serve us. We found a way to understand each other. The food, pizza and spaghetti carbonara, were excellent! Great value for money! Authentic and delicious! Be sure to make a reservation!

23/06/2025: A unique and exceptional place that deserves the trio of 5 stars. We arrived by chance at Mr. Carlo's restaurant, who was very kind already on the phone, he immediately reserved a table for us. But the welcome was superb. Welcomed and served as guests, not just customers. Very clean place and meticulous attention from the outside to the inside. The menu was provided to us, but Mr. Carlo recommended, with expert accuracy, his dishes, genuine and full of flavor. Very generous portions, quality of seasonal ingredients and also low price for everything that lunch left us. I highly recommend going there. For the warmth of a place that will remain in your heart.

26/05/2025: Un piccolo ristorante poco distante dal contesto caotico e sovraffollato di Calcata vecchia. Piatti della tradizione del territorio e classici intramontabili, materie prime di ottima qualità con una buona scelta di vini del territorio e nazionali. Servizio veloce e piacevole, proprietario molto attento ad ogni particolare. Pulizia del ristorante e dei servizi davvero impeccabile, prezzi onesti ed atmosfera rilassata ed informale che favoriscono la piacevolissima sosta. Complimenti al Caraponzolo e a tutto lo staff. The wine list is one of the strong points: extensive, with local selections and a few surprises that demonstrate passion and knowledge of the area; the same seriousness is evident in the dishes: the first courses are excellent, homemade pasta cooked to perfection and simple sauces that enhance the ingredients without overpowering them, each forkful demonstrating technique and respect for seasonality. The second courses confirm the quality of the cuisine, with expert cooking and carefully selected ingredients, a judgment that extends to the presentation, attentive but not pretentious. The desserts, while interesting in their concept, still lag slightly behind the rest of the menu in terms of balance and technical precision, and represent the only flaw in an otherwise convincing evening. 05/09/2025: It's always a pleasure to return to this restaurant, both the starters are excellent, lots of stuff, and the special carbonara is excellent value for money, and Pino, the owner, is truly wonderful, and the staff is friendly, courteous, and helpful. In short, if you're in the area, stop here.

31/08/2025: Amazing!!!! The service was excellent, courteous, and friendly! Excellent food; we had a platter of very good cured meats and delicious beans all'uccelletto. A mouth-watering first course (ombrichelli alla zozzona) with sausage, bacon, and tomato—a must try!

18/08/2025: Entering this restaurant after exploring Viterbo's historic center for lunch on August 15th was as comforting as arriving at a desert oasis. The extremely kind waiter led us to an elegant, softly lit room featuring creative table settings with attention to detail. The dishes we chose showcased quality ingredients and refined presentation. From the mixed appetizer to the dessert, everything was delicious and original. A seafood first course and a guinea fowl terrine were brought together with just the right amount of anticipation. The desserts were delicious: gelato in a pool of blueberries cooked in wine, and mint mousse in a chocolate shell. Excellent wine and beer. I hadn't seen coffee in a cup with a lid in a long time. The prices were reasonable for the food and the hospitality. My heartfelt congratulations for your hard work, done with care and passion.
